“Hang up the phone” ok then lose Fox for nothing next offseason 😂 why does SA have to bail out the kings front office for whiffing the situation with their star player?? It’s their incompetence that’s the reason why Fox declined the extension and why Klutch told the kings to start hearing offers. SA’s game plan from the start of the season was to keep on developing Wemby and maybe make the playin. There’s absolutely no incentive to make a midseason trade giving up a ton of assets when the Spurs are bottom of the west not even in contention. It’s not like they’re a player away from a championship and they’re desperate.
No Dum Dum. Trade Fox to somewhere like Miami as part of the Jimmy Butler trade. If I were the Kings front office, I only want to hear the name Stephon Castle and if the Spurs say no then there is no reason to talk with San Antonio any further.
@@michaelfredgren3910 you clearly don't get it. The spurs are in no rush meaning if they don't like what the kings want for fox they won't care if he gets traded to another team and resigns there. Fox wants the spurs and the spurs would like fox but only for the right price. So sure trade him to Miami and let him resign there the spurs won't lose any sleep over it knowing all the future assets they still have with wemby only being 21. The kings are the desperate one here not the spurs. Fox could easily make it clear to any other team they can trade for him but he won't resign and his value instantly goes down to maybe one first and matching salary. While with the spurs it's atleast 3 to 4 picks and maybe vassell and salary filler.
@ Okay, you can ACT like San Antonio has no pressure to actually make it to the playoffs in 2-3 years when BOTH the NBA and Wemby are going to be pissed with the Spurs front office.
@@danielgonzalez4114kings have zero pressure to trade him to spurs for a discount. You fans don’t seem to value him but you can’t speak for your FO. If they don’t value him so be it that’s foxes problem when he’s traded to highest bidder we don’t gaf who that is. Fox is not touching free agency and sacrificing 70-80 mil. Spurs fans are annoying if you don’t want to give up anything for him then move on nobody cares
Major cope coming from y'all saying Fox is the better player. Fox is a chucker who never elevates his teammates. Ty single-handedly made Reshaun Holmes an elite big lmfao. Fell into that nephew trap of Fox's 25ppg facade.
Too bad you’re ignorant Fox isn’t walking in free agency he wants the biggest deal possible he ain’t leaving for his worst deal possible and signing with anyone
I am curious what you all might think about this.... Miami trades Jimmy Butler + Kel'el Ware + 2025 first Miami receives Fox + Looney (expiring) + Payton II (expiring) Golden State trades Wiggins, Looney, Payton II + Moses Moody Golden State receives Jimmy Butler Sacramento trades Fox Sacramento receives Wiggins, Moody, Ware + Miami's 2025 first.

Fox is trying to beat the other 2nd tier stars to teaming w Wemby .. he won’t be the only one.. if so the spurs will wait for him in the summer of 26 and sign him.. the spurs are who they are and deal very matter of factly.. take it or leave almost type .. we will know w in the week how it all shakes out
@ I agree.. the situation is lose lose for the kings unfortunately bro.. I get it .. and I think Klutch put’em in a tough situation saying he only wants San Antonio… it’s better to come away with something then lose him for nothing.. the spurs know this and will push that narrative.. historically the spurs have never made in season trades and if so their proposals prevail or they walk .. but like i said we will see
wheres all this pickiness attitude the last 30 years of the kings history? it would have led to better results because there hasnt been jack crap that the kings have ever done right, ever
You guys put words in fox’s mouth. You assume so much, when did he say go get me better players? If huerter and Murray hit more shots, we would be top 4, and non of this drama would be happening. Our shooters have been not hitting shots, so we have been losing games . And his contract is a crucial last leg. It’s not complicated or dramatic outside of media and fans panic and speculation. IT’s basketball
Do you think it’s just bad shot variance as to why Huerter, Lyles, Keegan, Fox, and even Malik are all having pretty big down years from the 3pt line? Or do you think it’s something else?
@ idk. I think it’s a vibes thing, definitely psychology at play. I think bad shooting begets bad shooting. Like the free throw shooting , how do we go from worst to best, you know. A lot of it is luck, like basketball Gods or something. And media makes it seem like it’s all about front office. Like literally if we made just a few more threes per game and was in the 6th seed, ppl would still be praising monty . Ppl act like it’s EVERYTHING is complete chaos, and total dysfunction. I hope we trade fox because it should improve depth and future and I bet we play better immediately
I actually still really like Monty as a gm despite what a lot of fans and media are saying, he got the team above .500 for what’s looking like will be the third consecutive year while still having control of most of their assets and maintaining salary cap flexibility. If they get an acceptable return from trading Fox as well, I think they will get better as long as they get a solid defender who is a better 3pt shooter than Fox since Malik can already do almost all of what Fox does while being a better shooter and playmaker while being on a cheap contract. In regards to their shooting I don’t really know exactly what it is, but it looks like they’re getting less wide open shots from three this season, although I don’t really have any stats on hand. Also with Huerter, I don’t know if his shoulder injury from last season is still affecting him and his shooting.
As a spurs fan, to say “no one in their right minds take on 18 million dollars of Zach Collins” is just dumb. If this is how you guys think, I hate to say it, but it’s no wonder y’all’s organization has trouble building. You take a 17 million dollar contract and buy him out, or put him on the bench, if it nets you 4 first round picks. I can’t believe I’ve got to say something like that. You team is not built to win a chip as it stands now. You have to get lucky, and hit in the draft to have a chance at building a championship team.

If this ends up being Sochan and a couple of picks, what a disaster.
No turkey, straight HAM
I wish Ham was our GM
Now we're cookin. Lol
Making trades to appease Fox makes me throw up.
Kinda makes me throw up to… but the kings won’t get any other player close to Fox no time soon so 🤷🏾♂️
Insulting trade ideas from San Antonio!
Per Dusty Garza from news 4 SA it’s a six team deal.

I'd be happy for fox/hurter for Lavine
Gross talk about lower expectations
The spurs don't have to give a fair deal, because fox is going to leave after his contract is over and the kings will get nothing in return.
Stop pretending like the Kings have leverage time is against them. Hang up the phone and lose him for nothing 😂

Barnes Champagne and Zach Collins 3 unprotected first
