I am delighted to have stumbled upon your channel and website. I accidentally typed _1.9 oz nylon ripstop_ into the _youtube_ search bar (rather than the google search bar) because I was listening to videos while doing price comparisons and looking for a specific fabric that I had purchased on ebay a few years ago. That fabric wasn't labeled by weight but it was a sheer super lightweight digital camo (grayish green and taupe) that I finally utilized. I made a quilted snowsuit liner that turned out *SUPERB!* Outer shell sheer ripstop;.... fill, light polyfill quilt batting;.... and a moisture wicking nylon knit lining. I have finally perfected my design! I use an unconventional approach to engineer and draft my own patterns to allow full range movement with the least amount of bulk. That combination of fabrics is the lightest, warmest, most flexible combination I have tried. After finding your website I was on your website reading for several hours last night. I never knew there were so many varieties of ripstop. I look forward to LEARNING! BTW your website never shows up in google searches, so I am so happy to have found it. It is a GEM.
Really enjoyed getting to share and learn from Sam and Connor. Thanks again for the invite. I’m suuuuper excited for the upcoming release of Polartec Fabrics.
Next step, make the kits for base layer pants, and shorts with both loose fit and taper fit. Make the hoodie baselayer with hood or high collar. Balcalvas, glove liners all easy kits and great for customization and learning to use the fabrics without fear!
Time to make outdoor clothing that is stylish for the girls. I have two melanzanas but would like to make other outdoor clothing with similar textiles, skorts and pants, camping robes that is ankle length, changing towels. once I get a hold of some of this fabric, all my friends will be in a fleece cult lol

Hahaha I love it! Making clothing is so incredibly helpful. Great work.
Great content. I'm excited to get into the apparel space. I did notice a lot of audio echo during the recording starting around 19 minutes in
Thanks so much for listening! Sorry about the echo. Sometimes with multiple live recordings it can be hard to get all of the technicalities correct.
Ya gotta show the fabrics, I mean...gotta show the fabrics!
Thanks for listening, Dave! We'd love to improve the podcast in the future and insight like yours is really helpful. We'll see what we can do.
Colors : red, maroon, peach, pink, soft orange. Love the colors that high tail use on their dyneema tarps and bags.
Yeah, they choose some wonderful tones. Thanks for watching!
How to sew with video doesn't show how to sew with.
Thanks for watching Chaise!
Slate blue is not very nice.
Oh no! Not a fan huh? If it sells well then we'll be able to invest in more colors in the future.
