All thoughts and words are my own.
THIS IS FILMED ON A SAFE RANGE BY A PROFESSIONAL. It is a Airgun powered by CO2.
Is it a Cake or a Biscuit....? The hot debate of our time.

What's life without a little dark humour? Let people be offended. Great video as always chap.
I learned most of my German from 'Commando' comics. I can scream 'Aieee!' in a convincing German accent when shot.
You should describe the co2 cartridges as essential plant food. As all plants die without co2.
Water vapor in the air, makes the co2 question a non sequitur. .
Thinking people will understand....
These are great. I have a KWC version. Not had any issues at all. Bought a nice leather reproduction holster from ebay. I bought a second mag and only use 7 or 8 bb in each. I like the process of reloading,. Makes the whole experience slightly more realistic.
One of my favorite subs! Thanks, Mate!
This is a replica of the black widow version of the P08, the grips were made from polyoxybenzylmethyleneglycolanhydride otherwise known as "Bakelite". Which is technically more of a resin but is comparable to plastic. So it's not that unrealistic for the grips to be plastic, as bakelite was a stepping stone towards polymer use on firearms. Just if anyone was interested in the history!
nice to hear, Just like the 9mm one I used to own. very touchy.
Always love watching your reviews. I always learn things. Thank you.
Mr Heath, Thanks for watching my little video. 😉 G
No one beets this mans videos top quality
1911 fans may disagree but the P08 is the must have historical gun. Love mine. The working toggle is the dogs bollocks.
HHmmm...yes, I do like a 1911......Thanks for watching. G
Great review. Nice accuracy for a CO2 BB pistol.
Cheers Chris, Thanks for watching. G
lovely replica , thanks for the review giles. love from cornwall
Cornwall....nice part of the world. Bit of sunshine today. Thanks for watching. G
Nice "black widow"replica. Must be fun to shoot. Thanks.
It goes bang, it makes me smile. 😁 G
Thanks for the review and especially putting it on utube!
Stay Well Phill. G
the thing is would putting the mag with the co2 would been better having a wood grip as you suggested with the co2 cartridge seat similar to the dan weston bb pistols because you relying on 2 seals one between the cartridge and the seating and one between the seating and the port
I do look forward to your reviews nice one
Cheers Bryan. G
Excellent review I have definitely missed your reviews. Great pistol thank you have a wonderful day
I keep trying to make them.....getting old and slow nowadays. Cheers for watching. G
@@AirgunGearShow Thank you Cheers
Thank you Giles. Ignoring the heritage of the P08, it was designed when the style of shooting was standing 1 hand. And it's shape and grip angle makes for a comfortable and pleasant shooting handgun.
I've had mine for about 3 years now 🇬🇧
I've got this one, always wanted a Luger in 9mm but just couldn't bring myself to put up the money. So now I've got one in 4.5 instead. Great plinker, points nicely if I shoot left handed (I'm left eye dominate ) If you find wood grips I'd love to hear about 'em!
I have heard of people buying wooden grips for the 9mm and milling them out to fit a co2. Too much effort for me , but doable.
Ohh flipping eck!!! That’s another CO2 pistol I want for my collection now 👍🏻😃
Nice video Giles (@AirgunGearShow) and that's a perfectly authentic Luger blowback too. 👌
Hmm BB-fussy 🤔 so did you have chance to try it with safer ricochet-free (but non-recycleable) copper-coated lead BBs, or are they not recommended?
Thanks Giles all the best, cheers. Russ
I managed to get one of these for $30 it’s pretty cool
I had one of these , would double fire on occasion and scattered bb's like a shotgun lol loved it though.
When is your website going to sell airguns?
Had one of these for a while snd love the authenticity of it.., yes, it does "jam" occasionally but that's acceptable as all reps miss feed, jam or otherwise go f### up. 😎
Cheers for watching Richard. G
It's getting to the point that I'm offended that I'm not offended.... Ha :) Marvellous Vids as always :)
Cool little pistol. Just for fun!
I cant find it
Defo don't want the non blowback 1,it's shit. The toggle function blowback is brilliant 👏
So accurate, 1 of the best. COLT SAA is still better tho
It's a sexy piece of airgun wow
Good gun great video 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching. G
@@AirgunGearShow when you put out a video everything stops and the wife is sent out shopping lol coffee is made then you're video is put up on a 42" tv .. thank you bud
Sexiest Bloke on UA-cam.!!! You keep rolling Lil Brother 🍻🍻
I’m marking you as a bad influence Giles. I’ve just suggested I need one of these in my life, my good lady however doesn’t quite see it that way!.............YET!!!! 😆😆
Your Good Lady is wise, first offer is always a refusal, maybe a fair exchange of gifts could be arranged.....😘G
I have that same gun. Same box. It's junk. Really crappy build quality. It leaks CO2, it jams, the threads in the magazine where the screw goes that compresses the CO2 cartridge stripped out (the entire gun, including the magazine, is made out of pot metal) And even the few times it worked properly, I got less than 40 shots out of a 12g CO2 cartridge. You can field strip it, but it is a nightmare to get it back together. You have to be careful that the little washer that goes over the end of the toggle pin doesn't fall out. I suggest gluing it in place. The pin itself can break. When you take it apart, using that little lever just in front of the trigger guard on the left, and remove the square side plate, it comes apart easy enough, but it has taken me over half an hour to get that plate back in place, and be able to move the lever back over it. It hangs up over and over again. Better to just never take it apart. Also better to just never shoot it. It does LOOK like the real thing, and even the weight is about right. But for $130, it just isn't worth it unless all you want is a display piece and are willing to pay that much for it.
I never understood that. You make such a realistic replica, only to ruin it with plastic grips. As Biden would put it: "com'on man!"
"...chuck them in the bin..." I love how you say, ".....toss it in the trash....." another fun target Giles are Clay Pigeons used for Trap Skeet and Sporting Clay shooting... they are pretty inexpensive and you can find them in various sizes.... not as good as exploding or secondary explosions, but nothing like breaking or shattering stuff.... that's fun too, and, when you have already broken the big parts with your Luger Look-a-Like, bring out the R9 and step back a few paces,... and then when you have nothing but the tiny pieces left... bring out your PCP and lay waste to the rest of the pieces at 75-100 or... if you are TED, you move back to 150m wait for a 20knot wind with gusts to 35knots... and break the rest,.... everyone else,..., well we just are happy to hit the tiny pieces at 75yds... nice Video Giles and for those "Muppets" out there.. "get stuffed." (can I say that in polite company?)
Ted is a wind genius, Keith 68W ain't bad either....me, I would chuck a brick at the bits, I cannot see 75 yards. 👌 Thanks for watching. G
I mean the real version had, Bakelite Hand grips
Google translator: I see you're aiming with your left eye, but you're right-handed. How do you do it with a rifle? Thanks.
Yep, it's weird I have a lazy left eye and have no idea what the right is doing most of the time. Thanks for watching. G
@@AirgunGearShow It's quite common, there are enough shooters with the same driving eye as you. :-)
My 4x4 and my chain saw are both called Greta 🤟
Ha ha. Cheers for watching. G
@@AirgunGearShow my rifle is called Peta 👍
Ricochets, so use copper coated lead balls or dust devils. Simples.
With dust devils, you're better off throwing them at your target, accuracy is deplorable..
No re Gretta s. I’ll get me coat.
First Fast Show comment. 🙈👌 G
I’m offended by the way you pronounced parabellum
I'm offended that your offended.
Para = prepare
And
Bellum = war
Words have meanings.
How a person accepts , and the significance they put on the meanings, is a different story.
Who taught you to hold a pistol with two hands like that 😳 The thumb on the support hands needs not to sit on top of the dominant hand. If you shoot a 1911 style pistol like that it will bite!
It has been said many times, even today...my shooting style is awful. I can hit the target....but it just looks wrong. Cheers for watching. G
Well its not a 1911 is it
Don't u think you're a bit late on reviewing this 😆 old news mate.
Giles, be yourself, and offend the snowflakes.
