We're close to our second league win and we're only semi-pro! Now that I have the finances to turn fully professional at the end of the season, I can only imagine what the future brings. I'm now quickly becoming the new villain of Wales, lol.

I do the double mezzalas in a 4-3-3 with a BWM in DM if I’m a bottom of the league team and a DLP in DM if I’m a top of the table league. Rest of it is as you’d expect, works a treat
I once ran a 5-3-2 with double CWB and double Mezzala's and it basically turned into "One DLP to help switch to the other side of the field and 4 people doing whatever they want". Sounds crazy but it won me a champions league and 2 premier leagues.

I kinda understand that loans guy, i mean, my saves are usually wonderbuilding for the future and in that regard, why the hell would i want players on my team that i cant possibly call "mine"? A season can either be half full cup or half empty and just that makes me wanna bet more on kids and actually sign them!
I have attachment issues in FM. I don't want loans unless they have some form of mandatory buy. And people in their last year of contract refusing to sign a new contract will just get instantly replaced. If they are going out anyway I'll just get them out now.

Additionally its only half as bad because the "bad wages" the want to move on from pays several peoples yearly salary in the same country. I mostly play Bundesliga (German + registration rules are fun) and a wonderkid never earns below half a million (exclusions apply but VERY rare), thats my first real YEARLY salary (after graduating and going full time), but 16 and 2/3 times. Playing 2 and a half years and he earned what would do in FOURTY. So.... am i actually Jeff Bezos when i tell Upper Management they cant have millions more in salary? Lets face it, we are doing the Lords work in not beinding down to their demands and ensureing more paychecke parity in the club ;)

I use double mezzalas with a DLP (defend) and it works really well, I don't use wingers so have my full backs providing the width.
True, double mezzala on atk is one of the best performing tactics in fm2022 that are available for download.

Seems like a drastic drop but the longer you play, the slower the game will run since more and more information is being stored in the database.
