I'm relatively skinny but these videos make me so happy that there are women who stand up to all the hate. Being a person who used to be overweight, I understand what's it like and I'm proud of them for being themselves and rockin' it!!! DOVE IS AWESOME!!

Im 100% with her! I enjoy seeing larger women along with me wairing clothes and stlyes that COMPLIMENT THEM AND THEIR SHAPE. You don't have to show off skin/where half decent clothing to attract attention; you can get the right attention by dressing modestly, with sound mind and dignity...I tip my hat to you Jessica! This isn't about physical health, it's about mental health. You can sit there and shame someone who you think isn't good enough (in your opinion), and tear them down to the point that they emotionally collapse, or even commit suicide. It's counter-intuitive to hurt someone mentally and emotionally, based on physical attributes, to the point they forfeit their life.

You don't get it. There is no 'blame' and no glorification. She is accepting herself and loving herself despite your judgement. Just because being fat was something you could not accept about yourself, does not mean that all fat people have to think the way you do. If anyone is in denial, it's you.
It's good to see women of bigger size being unashamed of their bodies, but they have to remember that being overweight/obese increases the risk of diseases (like heart disease and diabetes to name a few), and thus the reason why I am currently trying to lose weight. I just want to be more healthy and not run out of breath after climbing just 2 staircases.

This is so inspiring. I think it's a great thing what you do but please also love yourself by caring for your health (if this is even the issue of your weight which I know is not always the case). There is no better way of showing ourselves true love than by taking care of ourselves first from the inside.

I find it strange that black people are the originators of this movement. By standing up and embracing our natural hair and looks. No shade against the women of this comercial but not one woman in it was black and we are the ones who spearheaded this movement.
