They use the same base engine yes but the specs are slightly difrent between the two in real world the r7 makes a tad bit more tourqe due to a small change in the heads but it’s also a simple mod for a mt07 aswell just pre done from the factory
You sit a lot straighter and kinda have more control in wheelies with your arms being able to spread out a bit more. It’s pretty comfortable but I also think stock clip ons for the r7 were really comfortable too
Do you have stock sprockets onthe R7? I noticed you have the stunt style bars...more teeth on rear sprocket will give you kore torque obv.....also rider weight
My sprocket was stock at this time yes. Also I weigh more than him. He just lost because he launched bad, when I’ve raced other people it was neck and neck
Rider mod, he just had a bad take off. Both stock gearing, roughly same weight, technically he should be lighter because of body weight tho. I’ve raced other people neck and neck these bikes are basically the same he just launched bad and gave up early I think
@@jar7d why? I must be miss informed. Its got the aggressive setup, more narrow, better suspension, clutch etc. for twistys and racing. It’s dope I like the look but it makes more sense to me to spend 5 grand or whatever less on a mt/fz07
@@brando3009 ya but the fz07/mt07 offers exactly what you need for a stunt set up pretty much stock. There’s just no point to get the other bike to spend more money on changing it when the other offers the same engine and less to change. These guys do it cuz they want to be the one with the stunt R7. Just because it’s cool doesn’t mean it makes sense. We’re not talking about what bikes are usually stunted, that’s obvious bud.
@@brando3009 this guys taking a bike redesign with the same engine to be more suited for track and racing. Then doing the opposite with it, making it go super slow. Bro that was a solid launch
MT-07 didn't have a "Riley's Motorsports" sticker.
sticker adds 25Hp Obviously
Lol
Stunt bike = Sprocket change = more acceleration 😅 good race
I have stock sprockets which is actually 1 tooth less on the R7
bro even installed the handlebars. now it looks like an R7 Tuono
That launch was golden
rider mod > "we have the same engine"
lmao
Its all in the gearing and I would bet that the mt07 stunt bike has a sprocket the size of a steering wheel.
Both stock gearing. Mines a 42 in the rear his is 43
🔥🔥MT-09 has entered the chat!!🔥🔥
Clean win 🤣 Idek if I’ll get you off the line on the 636 ☠️

That larger rear sprocket makes a difference lol
Both stock sprockets
What bars my guy
Cr Highs
Cant believe they replaced the legendary r6 with the r7 😭😭😭 we got no choice but to get the liter now
636 is better anyway
More like “ha, have a lower final gear than u I win!”, love both bikes tho
Both stock gearing
🔥🔥🔥
Why in the F#@K would someone ruin a beautiful R7 & turn it into a SQUIDSTUNTBIKE!😂
It was made to be a stunt bike
How different is the ride with dirt bars? Looks cool as hell!

I think ur engine light turned on after that 🤣
It’s just abs light cuz I took out the abs fuse for wheelies

Tune and intake and she’ll rip even more
Where those riser clip ons from
They’re just pro taper risers and bars
Not hating just wondering, why buy an R7 if your gonna put stunt bars on it wouldn’t an MT be better for that?
I put stunt bars cause I made it a stunt bike
Wonder if that’s the same r7 from gixerbruhs vid
It is
@@jar7d that’s dope I literally just rewatched it last night
Im pretty sure that was a mt09, so a bigger motor.
Definitely an fz07
You have a stunt sprocket 🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣
Nope, both stock sprockets back then, which means mine was also one tooth smaller. He just had a trash launch or something
What actually makes the r7 faster? Weight difference? Gearing difference? Tires?
Rider mod, he just had a bad take off. Both stock gearing, roughly same weight, technically he should be lighter because of body weight tho. I’ve raced other people neck and neck these bikes are basically the same he just launched bad and gave up early I think
Bro you bought the racing setup cp2 to then make it a stunt bike? Why not have kept the cash for something else or more mods on the fz?
Why wouldn’t I make it a stunt bike its literally perfect for it

Yeah the difference is the other guy was more grown up than you are!! Take it to the track and then you can see how good your skill is 😮
I don’t care about track skills
