On GM infotainment systems like this one, the Projection button changes to either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay once a phone is connected (via cable in this instance).
I agree, It needs a couch and an outside kitchen. I would like to see the full size couch with theater seating on each end then a place where you could put a table in front of the couch, the instead of the useless gaming chair a small desk with 2 chairs.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My likes are if you can get a couch or theater seats and tv across where the cable connection is that’s my like and the storage in the bed I like. And the kitchen. Dislikes I don’t like how you get out and up through the cab, no power reel. That’s that’s it. Thank you Matt and Andrea! It’s a nice great Rv!
This is without question the nicest looking Nexus in terms of the interior. I would prefer a sofa to the dinette. I'm not sure what the point of that chair is ... and it's pretty much the only straight shot to the tv. Only one person gets to watch TV in this RV? That's just weird. But again, the interiors look so much better to what they've been doing. Night and Day.
Matt does know everything lol, that’s why I watch this channel. I think 200k is pretty good for a rig like that, I’ve seen b+ in that range with a lot less room.
With only a 45 gallon fresh water tank and 4700 pounds of carrying capacity i feel they under achieved on the fresh water capacity. Also I would really like to see bigger bedside tables or power in the overhead cabinets for a cpap. More of us are using cpaps and it would be helpful to know if these units are coap friendly. Thanks for a great video.
I pick up the RV tomorrow Matt! Ohmygosh! People, we got the best deal on a used RV during that sale, class A 2020 Thor Axis! 25.6 model. Beautiful condition. Little over 5,000 miles. When Matt tells ya purchase now listen to him!
Love the outside but as soon as you go inside you remember it's a Nexus. First thing, that review camera location is terrible, Andrea hit it and really made my point before i finished typing.. The could have used the integrated review mirror like other motorhomes. the TV place is perfect for the one person sitting in the weird chair in the corner but the dinette in front isn't great. Sofa and TV on the wall makes more sense. I will say that the cabinets and countertops look very nice.
I love the chassis and the chassis with the international and Chevy are the same truck. There are not too many this I don't dislike about this one. Probably my favorite on this one is the towing capacity and the Duramax engine. The only thing that I do dislike is climbing in the cab from the back.
I just picked up the Verrado 2wd version of this rv..LOVE the chassis..it is perfect for a Super C. Wife can drive it no problem..I can tow 15k and get 12mpg doing it..I get over 14 not towing..air ride, exhaust brake...and we only paid $129k brand new!..it is a screaming deal if you tow!.
Looks sturdy. I don’t like the DEF filler on one side and the diesel fuel fill on the other. That requires repositioning the rig when filling up at the pumps.
You guys make me laugh and make your tour so interesting. I wish instead of all that closet space would have add a washer dryer hook-up. If a Mammoth truck camper can have a washer/dryer why can't a larger rv have one. It's perfect except for no washer/dryer.
Wanting to see the R32 to compare it to the R30 . Really like that there putting it on the Chevy chassie, hoping Nexis continues to use them over the International. And while your in Michigan you and Josh should do a video together.
I can't imagine selling my house to bye this depreciating over priced motor home that doesn't even look vary comfortable for full time rv living ..love your reviews guys 👍
Why hasn’t Nexus come up with a Rebel with the kitchen and couch on the driver’s side and dinette on the passenger? Put a big window next to the dinette and the TV on a swing-arm in the cab-over bunk and I’m sold!
Sorry, but I would personally never spend $200,000 for an uncomfortable backbreaking dinette only floorplan😢I wouldn’t want to relax for a few minutes before bed or on a cold rainy day by having to sit sideways to watch a neck wrecker TV 12 inches from my face😂
Maybe it’s just me, but the ground clearance from exhaust pipe to the pavement looks like 5-6 inches max? If so that’s a 4x4 that would bottom out on a speed bump.
It’s not just you.. there has to be a lift kit for the RV out there. Definitely necessary to lift kit it if you were going off road with it…Gotta have way more clearance.
swing and a miss....toilet, small shower (my 25' Wayfarer has the same size shower...and theater seats....). As others have said, the access/egress from the cab is a stopper. One of the few pro's is the bed being accessible while underway. Seems like the bay storage is pretty skimpy, propane should be on the work side, not the fun side.
A recliner than a chair but match with the other chairs. Can it be a U shape seating and storage under the seat in the dinning. Yes, a sofa where the dining set. No washer and dryer connection.
Do any Nexus come with a king bed? Dislikes: queen bed, no seating other than dinette (deal breaker), no ladder (deal breaker), no power reel for power cord. Likes: small tv outside, good space with slides in, ccc, light colored cabinet's, storage in bedroom.
What qualifies as a super c? is it length? Or luxury? I would get rid of the single seat, move the entry door over and extend the kitchen bench. Surely there has to be a better option than a curtain for the bedroom. The tv placement seems odd, is it just for that one seat to view? Internal entry in and out of the cab looks like a nightmare.
Me like, just for information I believe the Chevy and International share the same chassis, they look almost identical other then grill or badging. I could be wrong, they are both nice tho
Matt! Read the damn comments. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto! On Chevy and GMC, when you plug in your phone, that "projection" button turns into CarPlay or Android Auto based on whatever phone you plug in. How many times am I going to have to leave this comment? Lol.
Here we gooo agaiiiinnnn. Andrea bringing us smiles. She used her sharp elbow against the TFT camera screen to hoist her body up. Near breaking the entire assembly. 10:00
Not with that floorplan, and not with a Chevrolet chassis. Nexus can do and has done better. That dinette with no storage , and no sofa along with that Chevrolet chassis killed it. I didnt even watch it until the bathroom. Great review though Matt and Andrea.
Great video, very silly. Andrea getting feisty. Calls Matt arrogant, AND wins the game. I don't like the RV. It's a cheap class C on a giant pickup truck. No door on bedroom. No backsplash on the sink. Drawers are flimsy, you can tell when Matt opens them. Not a Chevy fan either. The best part of it was the interior color scheme. Finally Nexus gets it.
That is one sweet looking rig from the outside, unfortunately because of the poor businesses practices of the manufacturers and the dealers , buying an RV today is like playing Russian Roulette with 5 rounds in a 6 round revolver with whether this purchase will make your life a living hell or a pleasant experience. If you had to make a purchase the best thing to do is to take a lawyer with you when making the purchase to make sure you will be covered when something breaks and your RV sits in the dealers parking lot for the first 8 months after the purchase. So sad.
They do have some options for that but they want a stronger chassis like this for towing with a smaller rig on it because not everyone wants something so massive. They’re just trying to have different options for everyone.
They should put a sofa instead of the dinette, with a 2 pole table , similar to what's in the Thor Axis/Vegas 24.1 and TV over the door. Outdoor storage is slim. Bedroom storage is awesome. Cabinets look cheap but hard to tell from a video. Big 👍 for the Chevy/Duramax chassis. Only one chair facing the TV? 👎👎👎
Nexus has great constructing and exterior look, but they have mediocre floorplans and the interiors are just cheesy. Sorry, I'd probably never own one.
Love Chevy, but this RV is not worth the money. Don't like anything about the interior space and no storage outside. Have owned a Jayco 28 ft class C cost $70,000 with more space. Now Own a Jayco Class a Precept 31UL with twice the interior and exterior space and only cost $118.000. Way over priced!
On GM infotainment systems like this one, the Projection button changes to either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay once a phone is connected (via cable in this instance).

I'm just happy to see a Super C without a radius shower. Yes, Nexus does them but it seems like a lot of other Super manufacturers do as well.
Totally agree!

most of us are not using CPAPs, this is a 4x4 rig doubt many people having this are sitting around doing nothing, skiing, ATVs outdoor activities
The older models have 85 gallons. Odd.
Jen has an awesome voice for advertising! Maybe she should sell that particular gift. Her voice is really chill and relaxing.
I love this RV but I want a class B van. Love you guys. Cheers ❤❤

Once you plug your phone in, the "projection" app on the infotainment changes to either Android Auto or Apple Carplay. It's the same as my Tahoe.
That "dropping down into the cab, and climbing back up out of it" is a deal breaker for us. It's a nice RV, but not suitable for bad knees.

That chassis is the international chassis. General Motors buys the chassis from international. That is meant to compete with the F550 chassis.
Yes they’re very similar!
Maybe it’s just me, but the ground clearance from exhaust pipe to the pavement looks like 5-6 inches max? If so that’s a 4x4 that would bottom out on a speed bump.
Thanks for noticing that… usually it won’t touch on main roads but if you were on some rough back roads, it might be something to look into adjusting
It’s not just you.. there has to be a lift kit for the RV out there. Definitely necessary to lift kit it if you were going off road with it…Gotta have way more clearance.
How does the water get heated? The Refrig stay on? Is it a generator that you also have to fill up when you get gas?

should push the bathroom wall out into hall some to gain a ppp

At a price tag more than a house it should have a washer dryer unit.

These cutaway chassises have a space where you can get into tge cab area from behind just like schoolbuses and shuttle buses
Here we go now!! I'm hoping this one looks better than the last nexus. I was extremely disappointed with the interior.
I hope you liked it!!
@@MattsRVReviews It was really nice! Much more brighter and modern looking. 😁
Jen put up the wrong specs. It listed the chassis as an International, not a Chevrolet.
Thanks for catching that, they should be very similar… just make sure to double check before purchasing 😁

250k. Out of my range, but no PPP? No electric reel, (1/4 million). Kitchen is nice.

where are the armrests on the driver and passenger seats??
Who can relax and watch TV sitting any length of time sitting at a dinette….NOT !
It’s say it will sleep 7 people, if that’s the case they have to make it a little longer so that 7 people could be inside.
I would like to see the 7 people actually lay in this rig.

It's so hard to pay that price when it costs more than my 20,000 square foot 3/3 house in the suburbs.

21:00 in LMAO, Andrea said why would you think you would win? Perfect (possibly annoying, etc), but interesting viewpoint provocation.
I believe that chevy actually has 1000 lbs ft of torque.
If thats a duramax why is it a derated version of what you can get in a heavy duty 2500. That torque should be closer to 1000 ft lb
So many misses at such a high price
You lost me at the tv placement with no sofa. Especially for that price. Ouch.
its built in the front seats because it 4x4

Hey Matt what is your height?
Good video 😊 does not look like it's built well looks like it would fall apart it's priced to high 😊🤔
Seems like it’s very small rig on such a large beefy 5500 truck. Put 6-8 more feet on it and it would be a very roomy rig.
