I think after Astoria passed away Narsissa would have possibly put her pure-blood believes aside so she could help Draco as well as give Scorpius a maternal figure after the passing of his mother at a young age
I don't know about that, especially since Narcissa Black Malfoy's actress Helen McCrory passed away because of cancer, hence it's also possible Narcissa also dies later in the story in an example of "The Character Died With Him/Her/Them".
I head canon that prior to meeting Draco, Astoria had little to no social life, mostly due to the amount of rest required to cope with her poor health. Hogwarts curriculum is rather full, so that wouldn't be surprising.
Its interesting that Draco took to alchemy. An art that holds the secret to eternal life and perhaps raising his wife back from the dead. Would be interesting if Scorpius ends up romantically involved with a muggle born sorcerer. How would Draco respond.
Honestly after everything he went through and his wife pushing to to more open minded views I doubt he would really care anymore. Plus I'm pretty sure he ended up dating a witch names Rose by the end of The Cursed Child
Scorpius did ended with the daughter of whom his father as a kid called mudblood that means Scorpius married the daughter of harmione Granger and Ron Weasley , Rose Weasley he ( Scorpius) fell in love with her (rose) at first sight and they ended up together and they produced 3 kids also Draco had no issues with his son's decision to marry Rose Weasley

Losing my wife a decade ago on the 21st of this month was the worst thing to happen to me. I’m only 30 and I’m stuck in this pit of sorrow... I can identify with him. I’m annoyed with anyone who flirts with me and I think of my love first thing when I wake up and even dream she’s still able to talk to me! Please someone talk with me! Please I’m starting to crack. I’m sorry to leave this here but this struck a nerve and I need a friend who can understand
I understand. I lost my husband of 40 years, a year ago in August. I understand your pain and sorrow all too well. But you are very young, and in time the pain will heal enough for you to start over again if you choose. But you will never be able to forget your first love. I shall you well.
Does Draco Malfoy remind anyone else of Zuko from ATLA? Crazy deep redemption arc, seemingly evil but really just wants daddy's love, ends up proving in the end that they have a heart -and a very dedicated one...(& for the nerds, Zuko ends up with his own dragon and, well, we all know what the name Draco translates to)
Seems to me that the Malfoy family’s loyalty shifted was the moment Voldemort tried to kill Draco by assigning him an impossible task. Edit: Prior to Draco’s birth, both of his parents had nothing irreplaceable to lose. That typically changes when someone has a child.
I've read cursed child and instantly fell for the malfoy family, they are all so nice in there. Even though cursed child as not as legit as HP, but i really need to know more about astoria
I know it's not mentioned in any material but wish they bring up the source of the blood curse. And maybe have a storyline of Draco finding a way to remove the curse from Astoria and the Green grass family....
I felt sorry for Draco and I have no idea what he's going through he has change of heart throughout the years and I care about Draco and his son and I felt bad about both Harry and Draco the boy who lived and the boy who had A wrong choices and muggles heroes and Malfoy's too
I think Draco would still date other women but wouldn’t marry them, to avoid loneliness in his personal life, especially when scorpius is all grown up. Some parents do that, dating somebody but will never replace their former spouse. I also posted this before, but video was deleted and rendered. I think the Malfoys got off for not just abandoning Voldemort, Nerissa saving Harry but also for testifying against other Death Eaters and telling what happened to Charity Burbage. But Lucius never entered in government affairs again, as he was officially unable to.
According to Pottermore’s article on the Malfoy family, Lucius did indeed testify against the other Death Eaters, and even took it a step further by outing every last remaining Death Eater (presumably including any Death Eaters the Ministry didn’t know about by that point) and even personally helping the Ministry to arrest several of Voldemort’s remaining followers who had gone into hiding.
If I start ehm saying my obsession ur gonna freak. WARNING - THIS WAS BEFORE THE TIKTOK TREND (this happened about 3 years ago) AND I CANT HELP BEING OBSESSED WITH DRACO :3 And btw I’m obsessed with Harry Potter series and have been since I was 2 XD
Just a flight of fancy: with the passing of Astoria and Scorpius increasingly on his own, I wonder if Draco's attention turned to Muggletech. I can imagine him keeping to himself in later years an mp3 player, and the first song on the playlist would be "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads. I can imagine him with an affinity for the lyrics: "This is not my beautiful house... This is not my beautiful wife... Am I right? Am I wrong? My God; what have I done!"
I don't consider cursed child canon because of the errors. But in this part it added to the lore in a good way. It deepened Dracos arc. Draco saw what war did to the world and he regretted it all. And he now tries to do better. Everything is logical (as much as it can be in the franchise)
Wish they would’ve shown a bit more of his interest towards his wife during the last movie at least. He had potential for a nice story but I feel like the writers didn’t go full one with it, they didn’t really made him pick a side. Wish they would’ve showed him changing beliefs.( also I teard up a bit)
Draco has always been my favourite character, the quote “the abused becomes the abuser” was made for him. Everyone is a product of their past and he broke the toxic parenting cycle of his family and generational trauma. The wizarding world can only be so magical until you realize that magic can’t change the person you are; therefore Draco took it upon himself to become a better person for his family and his wife. Something that Lucious didn’t even attempt to think about that when Draco was a lad. Plus I REALLY disliked Hermione because she was stuck up and a know-it-all
I think, that his father taught Draco not from the beginning that mugglebornes are weaker then them. I think, at the second year it began because in the first year, he called Hermione never a mudblood. He just did not care for her because first she seems normal
The cursed child was a great play write and actually didn't feel fan mad even though jk Rowling only wrote the plot and events, great story I loved it, although not as good as the books, they are 2 completely different types of literature
You should do another video about the possibility of some wizards and witches like the Malfoys having an extreme dislike for American wizardkind and muggles the same as they look down upon most muggles and muggle-borns.
For dramione, I think it's because they're visually looked good together. And also Tom Felton and Emma Watson have best chemistry in real life. That's why there's so much Dramione shipper. As for Drarry, I don't understand too 😭. It's like shipping Cloud and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy lol. I kinda shipped Dramione before HP7 came out. Just because I thought they're visually looked good together, and because I didn't know other girls that could be paired with Draco, beside Luna (yes I was draluna shipper too, but once again only because I thought they looked good together visually). But when I learned about Astoria and read Cursed Child, I began shipping them so hard. And leaving my Dramione and Draluna ship. It's like "finally you got canon soulmate for you Draco". Because I respect what the author's write than just a headcanon ship
Given the twists and turns of his upbringing, I'm kind of surprised Draco didn't regress after his wife's death into an angry phase where he actually delved into some bit of evil using alchemy and/or the dark artefacts he continued to curate. Especially since losing his wife could reasonably have left the pampered man feeling cheated by life and magic.
I wouldn’t say “The Cursed Child” is THE worst thing. It’s level 2 cannon, and there are other worse things to have happened to HP: The movies changing Ravenclaw’s mascot and colors J.K. Rowling’s transphobia Official Ravenclaw merch not being blue and bronze and not having an egale J.K. Rowling’s severe transphobia Not enough Doby in the movies J.K. Rowling’s transphobia which should be denounced All the things WB left out of GOF J.K. Rowling’s hateful tweets
To say that Cursed Child is the worst that happened to Harry Potter is not enough. I've read it just yesterday and so many things doesn't make sense there, starting with Voldemort's daughter. Than for example no one considered that Harry's parents were under Fidelius charm (which was so essential to the whole series) and so they were undetectable for anyone who didn't know the secret. So their sons couldn't see the house and the parents leaving with little Harry and his blanket, Lily wrote in the letter from Deatly Hallows that James couldn't stand being home all the time. It's quite important, but why bother... When exactly was Bellatrix supposed to be pregnant when we see her in July - no sign, when we see her in February/March - no sign. And how Voldemort would ignore this fact, how would he not know about it? Crazy, crazy, crazy. It's whole just plot convinience and I don't believe J.K. had much to do with this thing other than look through and sign. I can believe there are fanfictions better than that. I hate how rushed the actions is, how Ron became some clown, how there is no peacuful, relaxing moment, no time to really feel emotion and the ending is eh, lamentable. I liked young Scorpius though, very interesting character.
Bellatrix had a pregnancy corset? I always pictured robes being very loose and flowing, the films have more of a Victorian-1940's aesthetic on the wizards and witches. If Bellatrix was pregnant we may not have known. (I also wasn't a fan of Cursed Child, but the Draco character development was nice. I like how Harry and Ginny's childhood trauma was emphasized)
One Thing I've always wondered, we know the elder wand was powerful enough to restore Harry original wand, would it have also been powerful enough to break Astoria's blood curse? and further restore the Longbottom's? Neville deserves it.
I think as the blood curse as the Potter universe version of cancer. Nothing can cure it. We can just ease the effect can't get rid of it. Astoria isn't the only Greengrass to have the blood curse. It was passed to some of her relatives as well. Just like cancer
Astoria actually died from Malediction blood curse, JK Rowling confirmed it in the The Unofficial Harry Potter Character Compendium (Just an update lol)
At the start when it starts talking about how he lost no one important to him & his family got of easy, but like wasn’t Bellatrix his aunt? And his moms sister? I get he didn’t like her much but still. Don’t forget Crab who literally died in front of Draco, oh and you know SNAPE who favourited Draco for like 6 years,he made the unbreakable promise (idk what it’s called) to protect him. I just feel that Draco would have felt the loss of at least one of these ppl (obviously not the same as losing a wife)
Harry Potter folk law I accept that as a stand alone story the cursed child is a good story. However I do not and never will count it as canon. I see it as fanfic written so well that made it to Broadway.
ofc this is probably just fans hoping, but wikipedia says pansy marrys draco and become scorpius' step mom. I can see pansy slipping draco a love potion at the leaky cauldron, though, so I wouldn't be that surprised if he remarryed against his own will.

@dr103 I know that but it's always used more so in the books to show a sign of respect like harry always is reminded to call snape professor and it's only after he learns the truth that he starts referring to him by that it's more so a sign of respect than acknowledging them as a teacher

Everyone expected him to be against muggleborns and bloodtrators... he Never was alllowed to speak freely or to think for himself. Its tragic, really. There is so much depht to his Charakter.
Just like ist was with Snape, I truly believe he had the most tragic life out of all of them.
He was born in to a highly abusive household (much worse than the dursleys...eventhoug things like that shouldnt be compared). He met a little girl who „befriended“ him after some time (his first friend ever and the first person who was nice to him) but as soon as they got to hogwarts she was taken away from him again and he was lonley again. After all of the ugly incidences with the marauders who bullied him into oblivion just because „he existed“ (james potter really said so....) and even tried to kill him when they were 16. His time at hogwarts was nearly as miserable as his time at home and got only worse after he lost lily as a friend.... especially since he loved lily without all he had. (We probably would too if she was the only one who ever was this nice to us or our only friend) Severus loved her so dearly that he was willing to give his live for her...or her son in this matter. I never thought that he was a pleasant man, but who would care about unnecessary pleasantries and being „nice“ after faith had never showed it to you? He never had a chance to be happy. He was too broken before he even graduated and I think this is a true tragedy.
Harry at least had a dozen of friends and was loved by the teachers... he had the weasleys and the order of the Phoenix.... all while draco and especially severus snape had no one to truly talk to or who made them feel loved.
It’s ironic, Draco used to taunt Harry because he was an orphan... and then his own son would grow up without a mom...
Poetic justice
It's Karma
@@kathleenabbu8553 Thats neither karma nor justice. You are basically saying because his dad was mean as a child Scorpio deserves to suffer. That doesn't make any sense at all. If Draco himself ended up as orphan that would have been different. But children shouldn't pay for their parents sins.
@@ducklingscap897 definitely. why should Scorpio receive receive karma for what Draco did?
Apparently Draco was a loving father to Scorpius. Both he and Astoria Greengrass raised Scorpius with love and taught him tolerance towards muggleborns and half bloods.

I think I read that he was into Alchemy even before his wife's passing. Draco always seemed to like or be good at Potions (probably because of Snape's favoritism too), so I think he just also had an inclination towards Alchemy, or he tried to save his wife through it.

Hiii! I love this video, I enjoyed every upload so far, but this one was amazing. P.S I am a HUGE fan of Harry Potter too!!
I head canon that prior to meeting Draco, Astoria had little to no social life, mostly due to the amount of rest required to cope with her poor health. Hogwarts curriculum is rather full, so that wouldn't be surprising.
Fun fact: Tom Felton's real life gf played Astoria in the last movie.

Plus I'm pretty sure he ended up dating a witch names Rose by the end of The Cursed Child
...or sorceress....
He lost his aunt ik she is a psycho but she loved draco enough to accompany her sister to go to snape not following voldys instruction and as we know bellatrix loved Voldemort and very unlike her to do so am sure he was sad .

I felt sorry for Draco and I have no idea what he's going through he has change of heart throughout the years and I care about Draco and his son and I felt bad about both Harry and Draco the boy who lived and the boy who had A wrong choices and muggles heroes and Malfoy's too
the 2nd greatest harry potter channel ever
Astoria’s Death sounds like a band name.
I liked Draco and knew if he got away from his father, he would turn out much better than either of his parents
Astoria was so good to him ;( idc what you all have to say she made him become a better version of himself
If I start ehm saying my obsession ur gonna freak. WARNING - THIS WAS BEFORE THE TIKTOK TREND (this happened about 3 years ago) AND I CANT HELP BEING OBSESSED WITH DRACO :3
And btw I’m obsessed with Harry Potter series and have been since I was 2 XD
Draco has one of the best character arcs in the series
No one close he lost his best friend Crabbe in the Battle of Hogwarts
🥺 sweet sweet Draco im glad he have scorpius
I feel so sorry for him poor Draco.
Wish they would’ve shown a bit more of his interest towards his wife during the last movie at least. He had potential for a nice story but I feel like the writers didn’t go full one with it, they didn’t really made him pick a side. Wish they would’ve showed him changing beliefs.( also I teard up a bit)
People : I feel bad for Draco but I hate the cursed child.
Me:it’s not even out yet ....
Plus I REALLY disliked Hermione because she was stuck up and a know-it-all
Lovely video!!
Always love your videos!
I think, that his father taught Draco not from the beginning that mugglebornes are weaker then them. I think, at the second year it began because in the first year, he called Hermione never a mudblood. He just did not care for her because first she seems normal
so this whole thing is real?
The cursed child was a great play write and actually didn't feel fan mad even though jk Rowling only wrote the plot and events, great story I loved it, although not as good as the books, they are 2 completely different types of literature
You should do another video about the possibility of some wizards and witches like the Malfoys having an extreme dislike for American wizardkind and muggles the same as they look down upon most muggles and muggle-borns.
"he lost no one important to him"
Goyle: 👁️👄👁️ wow. K
I don't understand why ppl ship dramione and drarry THEY HATED EACHOTHER
Most awesome vid!!!!!
Harry could've told draco about the resurrection stone but to proceed with caution.
I wouldn’t say “The Cursed Child” is THE worst thing. It’s level 2 cannon, and there are other worse things to have happened to HP:
The movies changing Ravenclaw’s mascot and colors
J.K. Rowling’s transphobia
Official Ravenclaw merch not being blue and bronze and not having an egale
J.K. Rowling’s severe transphobia
Not enough Doby in the movies
J.K. Rowling’s transphobia which should be denounced
All the things WB left out of GOF
J.K. Rowling’s hateful tweets
Being a ravenclaw is hard :/
The label transphobia is a perjorative meant to suppress contrary opinion without recourse to quantifiable or qualitative debate.
DRACO FOREVER 😍😍😍😘💚💚🐍
Hence proved that villains are great lovers
One Thing I've always wondered, we know the elder wand was powerful enough to restore Harry original wand, would it have also been powerful enough to break Astoria's blood curse? and further restore the Longbottom's? Neville deserves it.
I think as the blood curse as the Potter universe version of cancer. Nothing can cure it. We can just ease the effect can't get rid of it. Astoria isn't the only Greengrass to have the blood curse. It was passed to some of her relatives as well. Just like cancer
Your theories truly blow my mind!🤗🤗
Also.... have you read Percy Jackson??!
😭💔 Draco
I wish the Cursed Child would be made into a movie.
The Cursed Child is not canon for me so Astoria is alive and he and his family is happy
Draco moved to Central City and became allies with The Flash after being used by Savitar via the Philosopher's Stone

i don’t like draco that much but this made me LOVE older draco. i feel so bad though. like i know it’s fictional BUT STILL
Draco's life always shows how toxic parenting is really disturbing.
What an awesome character he is. He was able to change because of the battle at Hogwarts
Astoria actually died from Malediction blood curse, JK Rowling confirmed it in the The Unofficial Harry Potter Character Compendium
(Just an update lol)
At the start when it starts talking about how he lost no one important to him & his family got of easy, but like wasn’t Bellatrix his aunt? And his moms sister? I get he didn’t like her much but still. Don’t forget Crab who literally died in front of Draco, oh and you know SNAPE who favourited Draco for like 6 years,he made the unbreakable promise (idk what it’s called) to protect him. I just feel that Draco would have felt the loss of at least one of these ppl (obviously not the same as losing a wife)
I only watched the HP movies and looks like I’m missing out on a lot!!
Can you guys explain how u know about these characters?
Harry Potter folk law I accept that as a stand alone story the cursed child is a good story. However I do not and never will count it as canon. I see it as fanfic written so well that made it to Broadway.
ofc this is probably just fans hoping, but wikipedia says pansy marrys draco and become scorpius' step mom. I can see pansy slipping draco a love potion at the leaky cauldron, though, so I wouldn't be that surprised if he remarryed against his own will.

Please make a video on why the word or title of professor is so important in the wizarding world like when harry is constantly reminded to call snape by the title of professor
@dr103 I know that but it's always used more so in the books to show a sign of respect like harry always is reminded to call snape professor and it's only after he learns the truth that he starts referring to him by that it's more so a sign of respect than acknowledging them as a teacher
This might sound rude but in my opinion I believe Draco used Crabbe and Goyle for protection not because they were friends
