I was in Egypt last December. Of course, I was able to visit Luxor, Aswan, Memphis, Cairo And Saqqara. It was my trip of my lifetime and I miss Egypt every single day. I will return in 2023.
@@robinsnestradio from your profile I'm assuming you're a Black woman. Please tell me your experiences. I've heard horrible stories of Black women being cat called, every name under the sun as well as being approached aggressively by Egyptian men.
@@Jays81305girl I didn't get any harassment or disrespect. I have a few videos on my page of Egypt. I learned some Arabic before I went ( still studying). The shop owners do try to make you buy their products as you walk around the shopping areas but it is more about money than being disrespectful. The people in Aswan look just like me and my family and friends. Black and beautiful. I loved it!
I am Egyptian and I wish you have the best and most enjoyable trip of your life, my country got tons of nice places to see and to love, people really love visitors, please ignore the negative things you see you will find it really worth every minute. Have fun
What an absolutely wonderful experience you have shared. Loving your angles and perspective. Egypt is a trip of a lifetime. However I want to return in 5 years….it is Rich. There will be a new museum completed soon as well (very close to Giza) Again thank you.
And to think, that as amazing as these places are, they are ruins. Just imagine how colorful and magnificent they must have looked when Egypt was at it's peak.💯
am originally from neighbouring country and been in Egypt twice even one like two months but I have never visited any historical sites l don’t think I will spend money over that but I love the people the culture and I speaks their language, thanks for the beautiful video
This video and the last one.. it’s crazy to see how they literally took pieces of the story off the walls.. I’ve seen so many pieces of the hieroglyphics gone
ancient egypt and sudan both north and south sudan was occupied by nilotic and cushitic groups.southern africa was mostly occupied by bushmen, san, khoikoi and later bantu. The only relationship between groups in southern africa and northeast africa is black race. Most ancestors of south african are bantu not nilote or cushitic.South africa is 75% bantu groups descendants mostly from central africa congolese.Descendants of ancient egypt still live in lower egypt, sudan and south sudan.other nilotic, cushitic groups spread to ethiopia, djibouti, east africa uganda, kenya etc.

The video is good, very well photographed, what a nice trip you must have had. But what you indicated was the Valley of the Queens, was the Temple of Hatshepsut. The queen valley is at a different location, southwest of where you were on the west bank.🙂
Did I miss some thing around 8:57s when she was walking up the steps of Queen/ pharaoh Hatshepsut she pointed at a figure of Hathor and called her the queen?
@SLY- So, I also awaited this video. Seems like you are making the same route I did in Egypt For me, Luxor was more of the same; the same hieroglyphs and the same eerie fascination with graveyards that people possess! I often wonder why we desecrate ancient Egyptian burial grounds by allowing swarms of tourists to traipse through them. It appears to me as though we are insulting and defiling these final resting places of the Egyptians. Perhaps I'm alone in feeling this way. Did you also see that the size and grandeur of the kings' and queens' tombs varied greatly? Remember that Egypt is entirely constructed along the Nile. Without the Nile, there would be no Egypt, declared my tour guide Mohammed, a statement I will never forget. Consider this: This one river supports an entire civilization. Without this single river, history itself would not exist. The Nile is adored in Egypt, and its significance is greater than it may appear. Egypt offers an abundance of tourist attractions and activities. Mohamed, my tour guide, led me to the exact location where papyrus is created so I could observe how this unique medium was used for writing. You should visit this location if possible. Second, there are a large number of places in Egypt that create personalized perfumes and aromas. Discuss them with anyone. You go there and select perfumes based on your name, your birthday, or whatever it may be; they have the scent, and you can create your own unique blend so that it is uniquely YOURS. After visiting Egypt almost 20 years ago, I still possess mine. I wear it infrequently, and when I do, I am frequently questioned about what I am wearing. Egypt is a special place. Thank you for illuminating this. Namaste!
The pharoahs built these magnificent tombs so that they can live forever, by publicly desplaying those tombs to people all over the world we make those pharoahs live eternally in our minds and recognize how gloriuos they were
You were uncharacteristically quiet during this video...I was hoping for more of your perspective.. looked like you were visiting Auschwitz and no Egypt

I would agree that putting mummies on public display is an insult to the ancient Egyptians.
But opening tombs for tourists isn't big deal imo.
The pharoahs built these magnificent tombs so that they can live forever, by publicly desplaying those tombs to people all over the world we make those pharoahs live eternally in our minds and recognize how gloriuos they were
The Nile is our life, I can't imagine Egypt without the Nile
It is impossible to live without the Nile
And I thought arches and vaults were a Roman invention (9:28).
Lol don’t forget the pillars also lol
I wonder if it is the one Ramses mentioned on the bible
Black people stand up!!!!
Egyptians were black
Can you not show absolutely everything and let the views actually experience it for themselves!?!?!
I believe Rome will take that trophy of being the world largest open museum to me.
It's not a tomb but a nuclear reactor
Bro I'm Egyptian n don't go there Lol
