We went Banana Island and got scammed by the tee guy over there. I payed with card he was very fast never gave me any receipt because other costumers came in and he scammed me of over 800 us $!!!!!!! Yes 8 hundreds us dollars!!! Dont go there!!!!
Dude these people are scamming you left, right and centre. You need to be more assertive when being over charged. Because they'll think it's acceptable for the next tourist and it ruins the whole experience. Egypt is a country you have to know how to bargain and stick your foot down. They'll legit smile in your face, being friendly & then scam you right after. Edit: Also NEVER pay before always get an exact price first and then pay at the end.
I lived in Egypt over 2 years, I am English used to shops closing at 1730 in uk but in Egypt most shops and restaurants open late afternoon and stay open till about 0200 it’s normal for most Egyptians to sleep through the day completely they hate the sun

For example, Twenty-five years ago, when I lived in Egypt, a cup of coffee was one-pound or less, and now Turkish coffee costs around 6-7 Egyptian Pounds at a local cafe or ( Qahwa ) which is considered the cheapest you could buy. Moreover, the average price for a cappuccino or latte at a decent coffee shop lies in the area between 25-35 pounds on average, Marhba coffee shop charged you 200 pounds for two coffees, It was a robbery!
The cities in Egypt seems to have a different vibe. The horse carriage man seems to speak good English, quite beneficial in an Arab country. Thank you Davud for the information. I hope you will show us Sharm al sheikh.

Wow bro I love your videos I’m Egyptian and your videos has showed us the hidden talents the first guy Abdullah has a really fascinating life. With his disability and living a hard life because his father who inherited this job and horse loving and respecting it even though his father could be making making 2.5$ a week so he couldn’t complete his education but if he actually did finish school he would not be speaking as good English as he does,!!
