@@MountainAjar I am glad you liked it, I am trying to spread the knives out so as not to show the same type knife every weekend. We will see if I can!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
More USA Schrade sweetness!! I really like the scrimshaw series they manufactured! I have one of the 508 Folding Hunters that has no scrimshaw art on the scales. The fit and finish is very good on it. Its been my experience the stockman knives can for the most part have some rub between the clip and sheepfoot, but usually doesn't interfere with anything. I love a stockman for sure and own/have owned untold number Schrade made examples. Been carrying em' 55 years now! God bless!
@@Briarpatchblades I really love the Stockman pattern and have found that the Schrade Stockman is a great fit in my hand. As for blade rub, the only way to assure that there is no rub is to make a wider knife or thinner blade stock. Most blade rub can be avoided by learning what order to open the blades... for me I only worry about rub on a NOS or collector knife. I too love the Scrimshaw knives they made, so many beautiful knives to find an collect. I rambled enough and you probably already stopped reading 🤣😅🤣😅😆 take care brother 🙏
@oldphartsknives No sir! I read every word! Glad to see a fellow Schrade fan for sure! I'll be talking about some of my old Schrades on my channel soon! God bless!
@@Jimthechevywheelman That's alright I didn't know about these until I ran across them on Ebay. I just wish I knew how many there were in this series🤣🤣🤣 Take care 🙏
@@rustyminer the best part is that because of that they were making knives for a lot of companies to give to employees and customers!!!! Which means everything I turnaround there is another knife new to me!!!!!! Take care Rusty 🙏
Oh wow! That's the cat's meow! Many of these were made under contract by Kevin Pipes/SMKW. He basically did some horse trading with folks who owned the Red Ryder Estate. Blade centering is so over-rated these days.
@@KnifeChatswithTobiasI was surprised when I discovered this series. I see a lot of the budget and novelty knives featuring the old western shows but these are really nice quality knives. I agree with you on blade centering, normally it doesn't effect the knife. I had never complained about blade centering until I got that Case where the tip was getting scratched because of rubbing. I fixed it and took the scratches out, but I expected more from Case on a knife with a single blade
WOW, another beautiful Schrade piece. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
@@Stans_Cutlery_Universe thanks Stan, hope you are doing ok and you take care my friend 🙏
Always enjoy your shows on Shrade Sunday . Thank you

The cowboy series by Schrade is a very cool looking series. I hope you find the one you need to complete the collection.
