These Miner knives are really really cool! I picked up a Franks SFO in antiqued stained jigged bone. I jumped on this pattern as soon as I saw it because it’s so damn different and has a really cool history behind it. This pattern is soo damn cool! Those Mexican Becote covers are gorgeous!!! Keep up the good work!
This knife is absolutely wild. Good points all the way through the video. A classic design that no matter where you are when you take it out, No one will have had familiarity with this particular pattern. So much character
I was kind of curious what makes it a River town knife myself. I know the last one they did on the 86 was also a tidioute and also in bocote, but I wasn't aware of anything historically. Thanks for the info
I picked up a blood red jigged bone dynamite knife from.Mr Frank. He has been selling knives 50yrs and has never seen a actual dynamite knife, so he and gec made it happen. The next run is the bladeforums stockman in jigged bone.
I like the size but 4 sheep foot blades is not what I need in a daily carry knife, it is also very expensive at $250.00 give or take. So, I passed on this one, but I bought a Remington Grandaddy cowboy Barlow for $200.00 which is beyond my budget, but I always wanted one of those and I will carry and use it. I like the GEC #97 pattern, and the Remington is the same size but thinner nice quality. However, I made a promise to not buy anymore knives costing $200.00 and more for 2025 no matter how nice they are I just cannot afford them anymore and at 64 years old near retirement on a low income I need to keep a tight budget. I have all I need many GEC and custom knives in my collection I may still buy a couple Case knife patterns I am missing but they are more affordable than GEC. Though I am basically done with adding more knives to my collection.
I've bought one myself, waiting for the delivery. Love the idea.
Nice one man
Very nice 👍
Brilliant knife 😮. Such cool history surrounding it. Loved all the info.
Cheers

@@KnifeWatch yeah, anyone who considers themselves a collector will want to know where you got it and where they can get one, and these will be gone.

Love listening and learning from you man hope you had a great Thanksgiving 🥃
@@brandonmaples thanks brother. Hope you had a good thanksgiving as well.
Thats weird as hell. I like it!
Hugely interesting, hugely impressive. But I couldn't see myself carrying one. A different selection of blades would tempt me though.

@@WVKNIFEGUY my last video on the River Town Jack talks about it a little more in depth.

@@markjg2275 I know what you mean about the price. Affording new knives is getting ridiculous.
