I think you’re right, all they ask for is an email address. Cinestyle comes with the Rec. 709 lut as well. I like to use Lightform C during the day (good dynamic range but not free) and then the neutral profile at night or indoors during the day.
IMO, I dont see the point in going from flat and then color grading because canon puts out some pretty great colors already. All you need to do is tweak it to your desire.
Love your channel! I've got a questions. 1) Do you use nd filters in home\ studio shooting? (should i use them with my kit lens 15-45 in studio shots or better without). 2) Do filmmakers use ND filters while shooting in flat profiles?
can you show how you to find canon utility 3. my pc is not able to find my camera under utility 2. you were fit fast when going through connections part. if you have any link to video i highly appreciate. thanks
Thanks Job, that’s really useful. I'll give the Marvel s Advanced a try . Would love to see your colour grading video when you have time to produce it. Please keep at it brother, great content as always!
Good info, didn't know about Marvels, I've been using Cinestyle for my last few times out shooting, and really enjoy the control I get in post production with color grading. A video of you comparing footage shot with each style and then any differences when color grading. According to the Marvels site, they claim to have more dynamic range than Cinestyle
Hey bro!!! Awesome what you do with the M50.... I have a question! I’m buying a 16-35 f4 IS to use with the Viltrox Speed Booster! What kind of picture style do you recommend?
Hey Crowley!! Im facing an issue hope you can help me everytime I use my m50 on the cinestyle profile i think i loose sharpness once i see my final product it always looks a tiny but blurry edges is that why you crank it up a notch on neutral profile? Or do you think just Some software sharpness could also do the trick?
I always have sharpness at 2, and increasing the contrast will make it look a little sharper. In my studio I use a mask to lower the shadows around my face to make it more contrasted.
Hello. It's not connected on this video, but since you are eos m50 expert may i ask if there's a bad effect on my m50 if i use 3rd party batteries. Thank you
Great job as always!

Would love to see a video of the color grading and some side by side comparisons of the different options!
Sounds good!
“You got the M50 because you didn’t have enough money to spend”... laughed my ass off because it was so true ahahah. Anyways, great content!!
Thanks so much for this informative video! I'm going with what you like, Neutral with saturation. I like the results.

I agree for most part, but it is something people want to know about because of the “Log” hype.

i found a way to get clean video with 2000 iso on the m50 with kit lens :D im so happy
Awesome! What settings did you use?
@@TheCrowleyCrew how
I don’t normally go above 1600. I suppose you could use a denoiser to go higher.
@@TheCrowleyCrew record at 4k, use BCC DeNoise plugin and set it to 7. render it as 1080p and you get clean looking image :)
basicly, record 4k so the noise is smaller, with the denoise most of it is gone and the small bit that is left is too little for 1080p xD
You said you didn't do color grading most of your footages?
Increable!!! They're looks so good
Yes, I rarely ever color grade. The Neutral style with saturation at 0 is perfect for me.
Thanks Job!! This will be a cool picture style to be added in my canon m50!! All i know about my m50 is all because of you! 👏🏻👏🏻🤟🏼
I just want to have something that looks good from the very beginning
Yeah, that’s what I like for UA-cam too.
I didn't know you could download settings.Thanks.I think I need tweak my settings. The sharpness really is a bit much.
Do you mean this video is to sharp?
@@TheCrowleyCrew no I meant mine!! (I edited original comment).
Gotcha. Well the auto and standard both have sharpness on 4

I show it in one of my newest videos. You have to go into your folders.
I love having my footage massaged. :)
Haha 😂

Please post your marvel advanced color grading
That will be coming soon hopefully!
@@TheCrowleyCrew thanks
Hello! Have you any videos or links how to colour grade this cine style and marvel style profile for good final colours?
thanks a lot bro!

Cool vid, thanks 🤘🏼
Hi crowly. how to set sharpness at 2??? i cannot find it. please help.
stay safe and be well. godspeed
Hey bro!!! Awesome what you do with the M50....
I have a question! I’m buying a 16-35 f4 IS to use with the Viltrox Speed Booster!
What kind of picture style do you recommend?
I would recommend neutral with sharpness at 2, contrast at -4, and color balance and saturation at 0.
The Crowley Crew thanks bro! I want to have the best settings to upload directly, without color grading
That is the one I use.
Hi, yes I like to know more about this subject. Thank you for your great content you make
Awesome! I will work on that.
Question - Does Canon M50 have a firmware update since last year?
No. I actually checked the other day.

Same! I'm making the strength go up and trying again
Hello. It's not connected on this video, but since you are eos m50 expert may i ask if there's a bad effect on my m50 if i use 3rd party batteries. Thank you
Using 3rd party batteries has no negative effect on the camera. The Wasabi LP-E12 batteries will even charge in the original Canon charger.
2.0 usb... Fkn hell why the f.... canon didn't note that. Thx for the info man!
Great job... thanks... btw are you French
Do you use 4k or 1080p more?
1080p. My computer cannot even play 4k
THANK YOU. 👍🏻☕🌋☀️🌴
