Quick Question: What method do you prefer? Do you prefer to keep it simple and let your camera do everything for you in Auto mode? or do you prefer to be artistic, exploring the Neutral or Technicolor Cinestyle color profiles?
I really need to get a camera for all these cool features. I feel so limited with my iPhone. If I had a camera I would want to be artistic and explore the technicolor cinestyle. I also need a baby Yoda. 😂
You can still do some really cool things with your phone! Baby Yoda is pretty awesome. I preordered it in April from Disney's website. It came 2 days before her birthday. I was concerned it wouldn't arrive until July 17th! It looks like it's now available for regular orders.
in which section of technicolor can i find cinestyle for canon m50? Considering it's now 2024, maybe the content in Technicolor will be different. so it makes it difficult for me to find it
It's speed ramping. Select your clip and push CTRL+R (or Command+R, or right click and select "Show Retime Controls") you click on the percentages and select "Add Stop". At that point you can adjust the speed of different parts of it. If you right click on the clip you can also adjust the Retime Curve.
I believe I recorded this at 24fps and used Optical Flow and Speed Warp. However, 60fps should be sufficient in most cases. Most of the work I've been doing lately with my camera is all 4K, so I keep it at 24fps. The M50 is great, but it isn't really a super powerful camera.
I like the cinestyle a lot actually but tried the James miller CLOG but didn’t care for it. Auto works for me 99% but usually seems a bit to sharp for me. Great comparison overall!
Good info. I notice on my M50 when I shoot landscapes with sky, I see banding in blue sky. I shoot with technicolor cinestyle. But this banding issue comes with all picture profiles at varying degrees. Any work around to avoid that if you can suggest? Thank You....
Nice video again Ray. You deserve to have a lot of success on UA-cam. When doing UA-cam videos definitely like to have the colours taken care of out of the camera. But if working on a big project for a client definitely better to shot in log.
Thank you Asten! I'm training to be a Colorist right now, so I've been trying to work with what I have and play around with it. Eventually I'll have the opportunity to upgrade and take advantage of real log/raw.
@@RayBeliveau Hey! Yes, I am aware, and I have sent out the takedown request. However, UA-cam has refused to take it down, so I have sent the takedown request directly to their publisher. I have no idea how long it will take, but hopefully, it will get fixed soon. Thank you for informing me!

I kinda prefer the Neutral Profile Picture. The transition from color to color looks more natural and nicer than cinestyle in my eyes.
That's a solid choice.
Neutral profile, sharpness all the way down and contrast at -1, i think that will be the nicest for my eyes at least.
How do you do that effect where it’s starts off in a slow motion effect then speeds up then slow motion again to end it ??

Do you do this at 120 FPS or 60fps ?

Honestly you deserve more than 1million subscribers thank you bro
Thank you for that!
So if I'm.shooting on Cinestyle where should I set my Sharpness, Contrast, saturation and color tone. What's your advice please
In your video editor. If you're using DaVinci Resolve, on the color page. If you're using Adobe Photoshop, on the Lumetri panel.
I use final cut to edit

Thanks for the comparisons man
Definitely! Thank you for watching!

Is it safe to install cinestyle on my Canon 200d ii ..?
It should be. It is just a color profile and doesn't affect the firmware.
@@RayBeliveau is there any difference between cinestyle and Technicolor cinestyle.? Actually iam confused 😄
No, it's the same.
Just subscribed as I am interested in this for my fitness videos. Need to improve and learn. Thanks!
Welcome!
Thanks for using my music!
Absolutely Flanzen! I like this song a lot!
@Flanzen, I just received a copyright claim on your song in this video. It's being claimed as "Waves of Love", by Fiery Fusion.

I liked the drumroll! Lol. Good job with using b roll too. #VRAFam
Thanks a lot!
Saturation is not embedded into the video. Color tone also. You just have to drop down sharpness and contrast
New subscribe thanks bro
good
Thank you!
