I copd the iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 last year but was having issues powering my Pioneer DDJ-SB3 through the USB-C port. Sometimes it just wouldn’t supply enough power to the Pioneer through the adaptors. So I returned it and bought the new M1 MacBook Pro. I really love iPads and wish it would have worked... Maybe the new M1 iPad Pros with thunderbolt have adequate power. Still, I wish it had two ports.
Thanks bro, for the content. Just picked up my iPad yesterday. Now trying a new adventure in the music realm. God Bless and much success to you. Peace be with you & until next time.
I down loaded the DJ pro, love it. I have a iPad and a Bluetooth speaker which makes it easier to set up, I did have track Tor app it was alright but when I cue a song on the left it plays too fast DJ PRO best app
Good Video! I'm also a DJ. My MacBook Pro 2012 is still yet holding on. I know it is time to upgrade. If the New iPads are the future, I won't spend $2800 on the new MacBook Pro. Would you happen to know if it will support Serato DJ?
No, as of now the 2021 ipad Pro M1 does not run serato. Only edjing Mix djay Pacemaker Music Maker JAM DJ Mixer Studio DJ Mix Pads 2 Cross DJ Deej DJ Player Professional
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets thanks for your reply. Do those programs connect to your DJ controller. If they do, I may be able to make that work if any of those run Tidal…
@@djdingle247 I know tidal def works with Idjay, Most of my numark controllers work with that program. My roland deck does not. other decks that work are Traktor Kontrol S2 Mk3 and Pioneer DDJ 200 are usually compatible with alot of different programs. You can also use something like a Smasung T7 drive to import your music. FYI
@@jerryibarra4737 yeah I did that too. Works like a charm. It just needs a 17 min head start when I turn it on if it is completely off. I’m going to hold off as long as I can. 😆
Not very techie trying to get back out there I just bought a 12..9 Apple Pro IPad I’m from BK DJing since 79’ still have my Vinyl Mix Master Ice was one of my Mentors
Which cables do I need to use from my iPad? Also would I need to buy a 20w brick will this provide the extra power to charge? Thanks! In advance for any help.
A hub would be best because it has the power and plug you would need to make your ipad work with A deck, storage drive with music and anything else like a screen. I put a link to a hub I use if that helps amzn.to/3qPaFQC

I agree!
What up bro! EXCELLENT VID...Im about to jump on the 12.9 model.
I want the 12.9 model as well. But the M1 can now do Thunderbolt so now I’m on the fence.
I DJ and play Violin too! ;-) I'm debating on investing in the 12.9 iPad Pro 2021 model.

Which i pad do you suggest for a smooth performance? Thanks a lot!
The latest iPad Pro always would be my suggestion. Screen size doesn’t matter.
how much memory im planning on getting an iPad don't know how much storage im about to get the 512
I would get 1TB but you can use external drive as well with a dongle.
I got the 12 inch
Love the channel & the content! I also have the roland 707m & will love to see how you use algoriddim Djay on the iPad together with the 707m 🙌🏼
I use the ipad externally with the Algorddium software. I figure if I play the 707M out I might as well use Serato. Thanks for the feedback!
Good video G, stay up !

Nice! somebody with your experience can definitely handle the new tech even thou you consider yourself non techie. Good Luck!
Is it supports rekordbox ?
How can I download Virtual DJ or Cerato DJ on my iPad through my iPad browser?
DJay Pro, Virtual DJ, Rekorbox can be used not Serato.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets I try to download Virtual DJ from the official website but it doesn't work, it only downloads an invalid file.
Excellent review!
Thanks for checking it out and all the support!
Does this have the M1 chip?
No you have to go one generation up.

Hello, does It work with rekordox 5? I use the Pioneer Xdj RR
No I believe rekorbox 5 only work with Pioneer controllers for the most part. Thanks for watching!
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets ok good
Love it!
Thisin 20201?
Which year?
I think it would be cool if the creators of Rekordbox DJ would do an iPadOS port.
That’s a dope idea!
