Denon should discontinue the Prime Go. The Mixstream Pro is hands down better. Mixstream works with Serato, has mic EQ, has way better jog wheels, has paddle effects, has built in speakers just in case, and it's cheaper. IDK why anyone would get the Prime Go over the Mixstream Go.
Both the Prime GO and Mixstream work with Serato as controllers. I do like the mic EQ and bigger jog wheels on Mixstream, however the robust build and sound card of both the Prime Go and Prime Go plus still make it a tough decision between the Mixstream and Go’s. The speakers are more for reference or a party of 2-3 people. Thanks for the discussion and dialogue on it!
This is a good starting point. It clearly needs to develop more to make the process faster and more seamless but this convinced me to start using my Mixstream Pro again.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing - awesome list of gear!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you again for the shout out! I really wish I could have made the concert!!😭😭 😢 we had to make sure the booth was ready for the next day
No worries ,appreciate the support, hope to see you at the next one!
@ definitely
which more cool for speaking tlm 49 or tlm 67?
Depends on definition of cool. Saturation and or eq curves. It’s really subjective
Prime go all day long🎉
The OG for sure.
Bro please get yourself some kzs for 20 bucks
I already own JH Audio in ears for $1400. The KS are not USBC and convenient with the Apple ecosystem of phones. $20 for Mac is cheap lol
Hey Shay I seen you playing and loved it. What electric violin are you using? I wanna buy one for my son.
Get him a yamaha ev
great video fam... but for me that is alot of steps just to get some stems.... hopefully they will do better with another update....
how to analyse tracks
In Desktop engine software
How you connect the lightning headphones to the phone I have ones but I connected them but they don’t work
Great video! Just bought a used 49 to complement my 102s and 184s.
Get the Tlm 49
Does the decksaver from the Go fit the Go +?
Yes amzn.to/3Wn8Rin here a link if you don't have one. Thanks for watching
The TLM sounds way more ready to go where as the FC sounds way warmer. That being said I can see the TLM needing more EQ if it isn’t working with a track. The FC paired with a good pre and EQ in may be more versatile. Then again you’re paying for 3 mics in one so maybe just get the 102 and another mic for more bang for your buck.
Thank you for the suggestions and feedback.
Which would be better if I have an Android device with both a 3.5 mm jack and a type C port and prefer mic quality?
Loved it! Many thanks Shayshahn for this comparison. I got answers to many of my questions. All the best!
Thanks for watching!
enfin le stems
Yup!
would you say serato works good with the Traktor because i like the Traktor design whise more but if is not that great and you loose features or your an lets say looser beause no one uses the Traktor thts nor good and as a total beginner finding tutorials for the Traktor is hard
Well serato and traktor are both programs. Do you mean serato deck with Traktor, or vise versa?
I have a Sony MDR-ZX310AP headset, would it be worth it to replace it for either the USB-C or 3.5 EarPods? (No lightning as an option, it's an Android phone) or should I stay with the Sony one
If the Sony’s are working I would stay with them. Only reason to get the usbc EarPods would be smaller size and form factor. They both are $20
@PhearNoneGearGadgets they retail for $16 everywhere, but the store I bought them at actually had them on sale for $13, but I was referring more to the audio quality, at least I know AirPods sound amazing but how about EarPods, I always thought they were just like AirPods but wired, is the sound quality better than the Sony ones, a lot of sources talk about the EarPods lacking on bass compared to the Sony headset, but that's about it
i have the old prime 4, whats the step by step
You would have to update both your computer & deck to 4.2.1 update and render the stems you want before hand. Then transfer them to your deck via your music drive or USB stick. I have heard it works however it seems Denon has officially discontinued the Prime 4.
Would you recommend the prime go plus over the Mixstream pro go? Speakers seem clutch but the prime go plus looks to be built for future updates
The speakers on the mixstream are a reference at best. I could use headphones for that. I would get the Prime Go.
@ appreciate it !
Dang, you still got a viola? That was my first digg....Then I got carpal tunnel.
It was my first instrument too.
nice piece of dj tech gear, but no xlr? no mic? i don't know if i should call it a professional piece. hope reloop can incorporate those options in the next upgrade.
Yes it would be amazing if those features could be added on such a small piece of DJ tech. Similar to the teenage engineering tech.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets lets hope they will do something. btw have you heard about the wireless speaker called 'Death From Below' ? seem like it's a good futuristic gear for dj
Good review. I'm just not a fan of 2.4 ghz. For anyone looking for solid wireless solutions with battery speakers, try the EV Everse 8 speakers, Shure P9T IEM Transmitters with old Shure SLX 4 receivers (cheap used on ebay!). Only downfall is that you need to solder a point on the board in the SLX receivers to make them compatible with the P9T. Not hard, if you know what you're doing - otherwise, ask your techie friend for help (Shure's website has instructions on this!). You'll also need a power adapter or cable - EV is a different size than most (on the 12v output for the receiver). It's only a "mono" setup, but most secondary speakers I want mono anyways. Be aware of the frequencies, too - my QLXD mics are in the same range as the P9T units that I have, so using workbench is great. Just have to manually dial in the frequencies after scans. But you want ROCK SOLID wireless, inexpensively, this is the solution I've been using for over a year now.
I appreciate you sharing your solution.
Can someone please tell me, that on every online platform it says active noise cancellation, is that mean it has noise cancellation???
ANC for which headphones? Not the wired usbc ones in the video.
That’s supposedly for AirPods not these ones
@S-1_24-25 no lossless sound is for wired EarPods.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets not lossless, I meant noise cancellation
why they make wireless headphones then they brainwashing them 😂😂
Is having more choices or options brainwashing?
Can you just plug a flash drive in and " Export to drive " or do you have to go through the dreaded process of having it analyzed first?
You can plug a flash drive in and hit export but I would analyze so there are no issues.
This compared to two RANE 12s and a RANE mixer!! Weight wise is like going to heaven bro. Bring that 28 lbs
True!
Definitely different tools but all good tools. Hard to beat a large diaphragm dynamic mic when you close mic. Between the SM7b and the TLM 103, it's a close call. Probably have to give it to the Neumann but both sound great. The 416 is dope because you can pull it out of frame and get the benefit of good sound without a mic in frame. I find the Sennheiser sounds a little muddy when close micing, but that low end boost helps when you pull the mic away from your voice and place it out of frame. Good video! Thanks for the comparisons!
I appreciate your perspective on the differences between these mics! Thanks for the feedback.
Good video - but i love seeing the Duke & Dame! #IYKYK
Yea linked up with them during the pandemic
I love my Cloudrunner 2’s, I think you sold me on the WP’s 🔥
They're awesome!
@ just threw my new WP’s on, thanks for the awesome review! I’m super stoked!
I’m glad you like them. Thanks for checking my review out
No mic, XLR lolll - it not a Mixer - pro gears like CDJ dont have XLR and MIC only (RCA output) ??????
I don’t understand your question.
Does your crates carry over to each program? Or u have to recreate them from serato and djday?
You can import crates into each program.
That’s amazing that wired ones are cheaper and they have a better mic and sound better than the AirPods 4
Yea it a great deal, if you don’t mind the wire.
Sennheiser to the crown
In your sound comparison, the GO meter was kinda solid at 0 db, while the Go+ showed a bit of breathing below 0 db. If all things are set equal, maybe the sound card on the Go+ has a bit more headroom? Just an observation... thanks for your channel mate!
Thanks for watching I’ll have to look into that.
🎉🎉🎉 happy new year! 🎆
Have a safe & prosperous 2025!
@ see ya at NAMM
@ Copy that!
Can we create stems just using streaming service? Like live, whit no preparation ahead?
Ok I think I got my answer later in the video!

Good looking out for the brother. Brooklyn in da house!!!!
Thanks for posting this video. It definitely helped me.
Glad it was helpful.
Shay Shawn, if you had to pick between the 707M or the TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 MK3 which one would you say is more superior. Im thinking of getting 1 of them. The onboard drum machine is crazy though.
I don’t have a lot of experience with the S4. However now that it works with Serato it’s about the ergonomics you like better. The 707M is more versatile, and has some features like the drum machine that make it unique for mobile DJing
@PhearNoneGearGadgets thank you 👍
Interesting..I can create the stems in Engine DJ OS but it doesn’t show stems on my Prime Go hardware. Guess I have to purchase it 😂
Yea that probably the catch, you have to sign into the account on the deck. It’s a one time fee luckily.
Relieved to see my mics aren't obsolete... but the standard mode sounds very promising (could be EQ'ed to be surprisingly usable...) I want to hear the "violin in a room" test!
They still have a way to go to catch a Neumann or any mic on that level, however there is definitely useable audio now out of the iPhone
why does the cdj3000 screen work and others dont.
I don’t know.
can you link up 2 prime go together?
Yes you can sync them with Ableton link together.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets thanks for that info
Bought these for a long flight to Germany day after Christmas. 💯
well yeah, the main issue is that you're using beats.
I’m testing against beats a popular headphone. What headphone do you suggest?
