I’m new with Affinity and happy so far. Slight learning curve. My only thing I need now is an After Effects replacement. What would be the best alternative?
Only learning and mastering Fusion inside Davinci Resolve, or Fusion Studio, as an independent package. There is a little different than in Affter Effects, because instead of layers you need to retrain to the logic of nodes. However, after you retrain for nodes, you will not really want to return to the layers.
Funny how they say they won't feed their Firefly A.I. with users content YET, you can see they also said they only feed their A.I. with LICENSED content from the ADOBE Stock. So, as soon as you click OK, you grant them the license needed to feed their A.I., the audacity.
Love this video, nicely explained! Been using Affinity (mainly designer) for a few years now, hate even opening Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. However, many designers and agencies still heavily rely on Adobe, which is a shame and don't allow for flexibility.
You can do a very professional retouching with the color grading module in davinci resolve. If it work for video and movies .. It works for still shots.
For print work you should continue to use Coreldraw or Adobe software. The low cost software is just for creating art and doesn't tend to have any features for how things get printed.
@@IamaNewCreature Generally in life you get what you pay for. There are some exceptions but this is not one of them. The difference between Adobe and Affinity is as big as the difference in cost. This I know from using both Serif products and Adobe products for decades. Literally decades. Affinity is cheap for a reason.
a modern professional needs AI tools, the neXt step by affinity is provide a native plugin to import stable diffusion generations made on the same machine, locally
I have pro and cons about the current AI models, it's trained based on many people work without consent (opt-in) to train these database. I believe there is need to have proper regulations to get this not harmful to creators. if not, AI will just make our job useless, make our job less worth, and recreate all what we do.
Adobe Illustrator + Astute Graphics is light years away in front on Affinity Designer. After Effects is a wonder. Substance 3D is also great. I will NEVER leave ADOBE. Just shut up!

What PDF alternatives are there that allow us to secure our files and embed links?

I'm still using adobe, but old versions of the software. In 2019 version I can't see the new terms of use!😂
I even made a screen recording moving adobe into the trash and moving affinity apps into the macOS dock.

Hi, im in sublimation printing and we use coreldraw. How to export selection only with multiple layers. And how to set dpi when exporting?

Adobe is mainly for photographers. All other digital artists can easily get rid of it! get rid of Adobe, NOW :)
You can't possibly believe that "Adobe is mainly for photographers" or that people are able to just get rid of it easily.
@@KuttyJoe very possible and easily. Most are just so used to using it or just to lazy to switch and learn new programs.

Do short beginners series Affinity videos to start with for Designer, Photo and Publisher. Including weekly LIVE if you have time.

If I didn't find a way to get the entirety of Adobe suite for $7 a month, I would've done the same long ago.
Wait! $7 a month, that's crazy. How did you manage?
I hope Serif really get a great bite of this industry ad pull down Adobe like mercenaries they are
Serif is great for people who don't need Adobe. For people who need Adobe, they're not really able to leave.

You are, unfortunately, correct about that. Nevertheless, Abobe's corporate greed and callous condescension stink to the skies and beyond.
