What if cystatin is normal and creatinine is little high

@@ScholarIdeavideos doctor, please I'm have upper back pain for almost 3 months now and weight loss even though I eat all the time. I went for kidney function test and my creatinine is showing 1.24

I was so afraid and I went to see a Nephrology and he kept on saying that my upper back pain is not coming from my kidney but I don't believe him
Please what can I do to rule out kidney disease? I'm afraid to take any pain medication so that I will not harm my kidney. Please reply me
