Thank you for such an easy explanation of thoracic ultrasound signs. An the most important what I liked about your lecture, that you pointed all these details on US pictures, like not other lectures.

You have your bat oriented flying up which not correct. when you look for the bat sign you should be looking for the bat flying toward you, the top arches of the rib cortex form the wings as the bat is flying toward you. It is best appreciated with a large curvilinear transducer. Also that space between the ribs is called the intercostal muscles. Very nice job with your presentation!

Wonderful! I am a head and neck surgeon using portable ultrasound. In times of COVID19, the need of more information about lung ultrasound leads me to study more about lung ultrasound. But a question, you didn´t explain the clinical meaning of stratosphere sign. What is means? what´s the meaning of lack of lung sliding? Thanks

when lung rockets are present, you said it is an interstitial syndrome. can this also not be pneumonia? how to differentiate them? By saying interstitial syndrome, which is fibrosis, is the damage caused by covid 19 also considered interstitial syndrome?

  • @sultanniazi2394

What’s interstitial syndrome ? Do you mean ild, interstitial pneumonitis or interseptal fluid like edema? Confused.
