Usually because top level pros don't leave their Disruptors and armies unattended long enough for that to work, but it was hype to see go off regardless. Harstem got some sick Disruptor shots. "Wasn't he playing Zerg?" "Yes."
genuinely i sometimes get emotional about the classics, the stuff that started in sc1 and were iconic from the first days of wings. 'zerging' gets used by friends who've never played starcraft. it's the most iconic cheese of all time.
Was going to watch this video but the intro made it clear that creatures of the sea weren’t welcome for this one, so I’ll just wait till the next video comes out
I think you need a macro hatch not a proxy. Back when it was called a 6 pool you could support ling production with the 6 drones. With a 12 pool you should be able to support 2 hatchery production. That second game, I think him pulling 6 probes to fight the hatchery means you have twice as much workers mining and a way bigger army? I think that means you can comfortably macro for as long as you can keep the probes busy without losing lings. 1 minute fighting with 6 probes is costing him 6-7 probes worth of minerals. Should just let him fight the hatchery with everything and enjoy your macro victory.
I agree. Harstem pulling his own workers only justified the opponent's decision to pull his workers. If those workers stay at home, he can take a natural and eek out a slight lead eco lead. Cuz we both know the Toss wasn't mining any gas in a situation like that.
@@gabydewilde exactly. He basically contradicted himself. The only exception is when the Zerg also pulls his workers. Ironically, he saved the Toss by 'pulling the boys' retrospectively.
imagine the morale when you pull all your workers for a last push and the enemy workers and yours are running towards each other both knowing the artillary is already halfway upon them etc xD
8:54 same with cannons, they just also work like a spore, can be batteried and are overall cheaper; BUILT MORE CANNONS in your bases PLS :D:D:D want to see a realy defenc on every base before protoss move anything than harass good exchange units outside in the unsafe :P
“It’s really tight, must feel good”
3:18 "does it fit? oh it barely fits. Oh thats really tight, holy crap. Boy that must feel good" thats what sh... yeah okay
that was the joke
@@strammerdetlef and "yeah okay" was the joke
The disruptor takeovers were absolutely crazy! Haven't seen that in a pro match

"Im here for a good time, not a long time."
does it fit? barely. oh that feels good.
Holy crap
“I’m here for a short time, not for a long time.” -Harstem, 2024
Same energy as "I'm here for a good time, not for a bad time."
19:24 that micro reminds me of the iodis where the bronze player lost 6 lings to probes with 0 kill lol.
Those neuro saved the game. Amazing job
Loved the neurals on disruptors!

3:18 One of the best, close your eyes and let the imagination go
"that must feel good" xD

Those neurals in the first match were legitimately foul. Imagine the look on his face after seeing this replay😮
16:48 Mr Brightside was a great hit... "It was only a 12 pool, it was only a 12 pool"
🎵 I only know one build and I ain't afraid to show it show it show it...
Girl look at that six pool 🎶
"Every second that goes by is a good second for me" - wise man say
22:00 I expect nothing less from this guy
Did not expect Harstem to try to quote George Strait today. "I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time"
Sick neutrals on the disruptors
17:12 this is truly hilarious

"I only showed him ling-queen-drone for the whole game, I didn't expect him to show up with 20 glaived adepts." -- No one, ever
crazy neurals!
I remember the 4pool.
"Welcome back to the cheesiest macro player alive."
I get a huge kick out of every time a cheese game turns into a macro game.
beautiful homage
That micro is insane
What if I'm a creature of the Sea, am I no longer welcome?
i didn't know cheese came in books
oh those neurals was noice
I want to see how well a baneling bust on Protoss works at a higher level.
