i can't quite fathom how you can be 7k or 6k at this game. I've played and tried my fair bit and i never got higher than 5k, and currently not trying as hard but 4k5 and struggling. Whenever there is a 500 mmr difference, it's usually a no match, so my best form would crush my current self, but 5k5 would crush my best level, which in turn would get crushed by 6k players, which get crushed by harstem protoss, which gets crushed by serral. I don't know to me it's wild how 5k feels like a wall, but some are 3 big steps above.
I mean, if some random person can hit 5k with practice, that would be like people being able to become GM chess players by mere practice. Top end sc2 will need natural talent, learning at a young age, and lots of intensive practice and training. And understanding and study of theory.
What I love most about the StarCraft community is, that everyone behaves like a proper adult and never whines about anything like a toddler. Thanks for all those healthy discussions!
Dear harstem, what do you think on game speed being change depending on rank, like below 2000 being slow, 2000-3000 normal 3000-4000 fast and up 5000 faster?
I think you lost with your 4 siege tanks and marines, sieging in a forward position.. its better to sac your marines and retreat with te tanks, which may push out a storm, thus giving your tanks more space and the protoss typically will way for hte storm to dispapate, you defeated yourself in this game, lmao... There was no reason to go back out on the map until your barracks came bakc, since protoss had little abiltiy to break a 5 siege tank line ,this would of allwoed you to get a fairly healthy marauder count, mismangaing of hte ghosts, allwoed for them getting killed easily in teh front pool.. So really poor unit control and engagement choice... Tanks are always better ot retreat to tank lines, this is ot abuse its massive land siege range and heavy damage, you also nuked your CC with your tanks and thus lost 400 minerals.. no reason ot build that building there since its so close you can build it uptop then bring it down for a planetary fortress, before that really poor engagemetn you guys seemed like you were on par... but meh. There was a bit pull and tug... but overall I would state you were ahead after the push since the total damage did like 3-4 % rss damage forcing your opponenent ot lose more money in the total mineral field count... So in that push if you didn't use the rss tab, but the total mined of hte minerals per group.. and compare to yours mining less per unti of time for attacking units, this puts you rss's ahead becuase your income per minute isless, even if you had a larger loss in the end, the total damage typically higher... buildings nad other thigns but meh.
Should have said "No, I am his evil sarcastic twin"

Uthermals Penguin bros. Hellbat landed vikings. Cyclones pretty close.
This didn't feel like cheese, this felt like uThermal plays unique strats
Harstem - "We all know how cheese is made right?"
Me, an American - "A 3D printer right, right!?"
Game one was banger. Should submit it to someone to be cast.

Ehhhh, itd be fairly slow for 95% of players then. And the game would quite feel different as you rank up
horrible idea
Please stop comming right at me🙂
Die intro man. Idioot xD
