- Demonstrating the effectiveness of a 100% UK Legal "criminal identifier" spray called Farb Gel. This particular can was 4 years out of date and still performed pretty well.
Farb Gel is not owned or used for self defence. Keeping in mind with current uk law, Farb Gel is for CRIMINAL IDENTIFICATION ONLY
The UK law encourages criminals with the ridiculous laws on self defence

You can defend yourself btw. Even before anyone goes hands on. If you anticipate a physical threat then that is classed as assault and a pre emptive strike is well within the law.

It's pretty bad I'm not gonna lie, I have a friend of mine who suffers from ASD, ADHD and mild very mild Schizophrenia. She was introduced to a Law Enforcement info day at her college and she asked a question to the Bobbies (Officers).
She said the following "I know there are a large amount of men in my area who wouldn't think twice about touching me, beating me or even attempting to kidnap me or people like me, they live around my area and there's too many.
How exactly do you expect me a vulnerable young female to defend myself against these men?"
The bobby told her "Avoid those areas, don't go towards those men, just ignore those men"
It's illegal to carry ANYTHING for the means of self defense which I think is appalling despite the Police and gov saying taking an item to defend yourself could result in you being killed because of it, my answer is simple. Does that mean every person who's been killed in the UK in bad blood was armed? No they weren't, we have kids as young as 9 and 10 being killed or beaten the shit out of because the EGO of the government is so out of touch they'd rather the public rely on their pitiful emergency responses then a citizens basic human inner instincts to want to defend and protect their preservation. This country if fucked up

Thanks for this video, I've just ordered a couple of these for my sisters as one of them was assaulted in the street a couple of years ago and has been a lot more anxious when out on her own so hopefully having this might at least give her a bit more peace of mind

It's not meant to "neutralize" it temporarily disorientates so you can escape and police can identify the suspect.
Make a home made pepper spray buy an empty spray bottle online and use chilli cooking Ingredients etc if it does happen u get searched by police they will have a hard time proving that it’s intended to be use in self defence because I carry it as sauce for food places I’m going to eat in city centre or what ever so you should be fine and not worry to catch a case and if you do use it for self defence trust me it will work good

To be 100% Clear - Farb Gel IS NOT Pepper Spray and is 100% legal to own so long as it's for the purpose of identifying criminals and NOT self defence
I've encouraged utubers auditors to use this for years for when people grab their equipment.

@drzg4785 because the lack of chemicals in the spray will still give the criminal the opportunity to chase you. If it was a pepper spray, it will give you the chance to run away while the criminal is blinded in pain on the spot

A legal version of 'Pepper Spray' is non other that a can of Deep Heat. Apparently has very similar affects and let's face it, we all have a can in our medicine cabinet. It's not lethal, leaves no permanent damage but stings like a bast..stingy thing. Definitely worth having a small handy can in various rooms or indeed handbags 👍

We as citizens, law abiding, happy respectable citizens can be and have been prosecuted for using blunt, bladed or RIF objects for the means of self defense in our domicile or public.
It is illegal for us to do anything for the means of self defense & self preservation or others, when everyone knows full well the majority of people out there are walking around with machetes and swords in this briefs.
We cannot carry anything for Self Defense.
Now hear me out on this part and yeah I know I sound stupid saying this.
But a Police officer can carry Cuffs, a baton, spray sometimes a taser and if you're a specialist a carbine or a pistol, long rifle or submachine gun.
Now of course they need these items to achieve their role in their job, but one could argue since the Police response times in a lot of areas are so poor and lackluster a civilian should be given the right to have a selection of these tools for their own safety too right?
Anyways back to the Bobbies.
However if they're attacked they can use these items for self defense, self preservation or preservation of others, yknow defending themselves with weapons. Again this sounds stupid asf and I've probably taken one to many largers to speak coherently but eh fuck it, since the law states No body and or no something is above the law then why tf do officers have the right to defend themselves with weapons but we as striving, hard working honest and in some cases vulnerable citizens get prosecuted for it.

I now carry something call TIW, it's like a thick red ink you spray in your attackers face, and no your quite right, we should be allowed stuff like buttons, and a low grade CS spray..
The law abiding only have the police really and by the time the police know its all over and well to late, no one's attacking you infront of police and ambulance, hence needing self-defense tools in the moment..

It is, in the UK for some god knows reason it is classified as a firearm and has been compared to the likes of an assault rifle for some god knows reason.
I actually carried Farb Gel a few years back as it was risky keeping my wet roll of toilet paper concealed. Literally would have been full tactical units if anyone had seen that bog roll on the street given the sheer danger to the public. May have even been a deferred SAS job.

I carry it everywhere and it's red stained it's not under UV light so that's a big mistake it stains for up to 7 days but most are known to last up to days guaranteed to last it leaves a red stain on Ur face or hands although face is recommended. I've used it and the person identified by the spray .wort buying and it's 2 20 mil cans for £17 worth every penny.

Yeah I agree. With the farbgel the police will probably try to prosecute you for using it so you should only use it if it is a small shop/business or when they try to assault you.

Someone breaks into your home in the UK, you grab lets say a sword off the wall or an airsoft gun or idk just anything which looks feels and acts as a weapon to defend your property and family.
If you threaten lay hands or assault, beat or even kill the intruder, the intruder and or next of kin can prosecute YOU for defending yourself and in quite a lot of times people have gone to prison for it for the case of "excessive or unreasonable force"
so its not in any way similar to pepper spray or related to self defence... If it is not capable to fending off an attack it is not a self defence solution,

Can someone tell me:- After getting sprayed on ur face, can you easily wipe it off with ur hands. The attacker most likely wipe off the gel with his bare hands and come running after you..

If you get it in your eyes you can wipe it away with hands but vision will be blurry, the more you wipe the more you blur plus also identifying your hands as well.
