I feel that, especially considering GTA SA had police forces for each city on top of the generic country cops. The least they could've done is given Paleto Bay it's own Sheriff office and maybe add State Troopers for the circulatory highways outside of LS and Sandy Shores
@@rileygladue3979 PB does have a sheriff's office, but it belongs to the Los Santos Sheriff's Office. I'd prefer it to have its own PD as well as a couple other locations. Also, I agree with adding state troopers and it's honestly crazy that they didn't because LSPD seems to have no jurisdiction.
I always found it funny how they sent the freaking army on you for robbing a small bank in the middle of nowhere, but when you rob the biggest bank in the state, you fight regular street cops and SWAT.
this is because first Rockstar is lazy in making a decent response force, two the bank is kilometers away from the military base and considering that Michael and friends devastated the bcsd with heavy weapons and caused a lot of destruction and death, noose intervened because the bank robbery This way, it should be considered terrorism and a threat to national security and the state governor probably declared a state of emergency and called in the state's national guard to stop them, in the second heist the local police and noose responds to stop and try avoid what happened in paleto bay (and the helicopters that appear in the mission with the mod are from noose PIA with members of noose TRU (swat) )
@@federalinvestigationbureau5814 i wish the street cops at the later stages we're changed to local SWAT teams, but i suppose that would screw something up like them arriving in cop cars and the 3-4 first responders that first arrive during the shootout unless RDE can also change each mission ped individually, if that's the case i'd want the cop cars to be SUVs or police transporters with local SWAT inside them, kinda acting as support for the noose units
This mod singlehandedly made me switch from Gta online to single player modding. Could never see myself playing vanilla that much anymore after finding this mod especially with the parachuting soldiers at 6 stars and K9 units, which I feel are implemented really well in this mod.

The original version of GTA V was much more diverse. You can see in cutscenes and scripted missions that there are way more different police cars than in free mode. For example the entire FIB is only featured in missions and cutscenes. The police buffalo is only available in one certain location on the map and not in a normal police chase. Police sniper are only featured in the Blitz Play mission. The beta version also showed also much more realistic looking guns mostly copy pasted from Max Payne 3. The hospital is only available to enter in a strangers and freaks mission with Trevor. I could keep going with examples but I’m sure y’all got the point. I wished Rockstar Games wouldn’t have deleted so much from the beta version of GTA V. It takes away the immersion.

I feel like Rockstar was either limited to the technology of the time forcing them to reuse a lot of assets like police equipment and models, the game came out in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3 which were notorious for having strict limitations as to how much games were capable of holding, or they were just lazy. Guess we’ll find out with GTA6 if they still reuse assets, if this mod is capable of doing this then current generation consoles should be able to handle this task no problem.
well noose already exists in the game but in a crappy way like a low cost swat in rde 4.0 the PIA returned and the noose TRU (swat) was improved and noose now has 2 types of helicopters (both are from PIA)

I always wondered why Rockstar had NOOSE chase you in GTA 5, shouldn’t it be the FIB since their IRL counter part (FBI) are the ones who apprehend violent criminals and not Homeland Security (NOOSE)? It made sense in GTA 4 to have NOOSE and the FIB come after you since your character was not only a violent criminal but also an illegal immigrant but you’re not an illegal immigrant in GTA 5 so NOOSE doesn’t make sense
I just got RDE and installed it correctly but whatever I do it wont go to 10 stars and wont spawn juggernauts or K9s or anything like that and its just ordinary police and not even merryweather or anything like that. Any thoughts??

A little while after i got this mod, it started messing up the code for the police, swat, army etc somehow. they are not able to shoot at me now and the 6 stars doesn't work at all. ive been trying to fix this for 3 weeks. can someone help me uninstall?
From my experience modding New Vegas, I can safely say that almost *every* crash related problem is because of the user instead of hardware/software/mod itself (seriously, I can't stress this enough, there are just so many "bugs" reported on any Nexus mod which are exclusive to a single user). Not saying "get gud", only that you're probably not following all the required and *recommended* steps when modding correctly (fresh install, gradual addition, updated drivers, etc.). My best tip for you would be checking first if your machine runs GTA V somewhat smootly and if your game have problems with other mods, after that try to follow a general mods guide (It's quite common for games having a general utilities mods that makes the game accept other mods easier, for me in New Vegas It's NVAC which stabilizes the game and prevents crashes) and download everything deemed as required (of course from a good source, bunch of people out there makes UA-cam guides that mix a bunch of incompatible and only makes a glitchy mess), and then go for the guide on RDE. All this after making a fresh install of the game (delete the game folder on Steam, for example) to guarantee you won't have old scripts and mods (another thing to consider, sometimes the requirements you've downloaded are outdated, when that happens It's almost 100% certain that you'll crashing). Don't know anything about modding GTA V since It barely runs on my notebook, but this is what I've got from modding games - especially New Vegas - over the years.

Man this mod looks awesome, but the NOOSE heli looks more like a news heli (hah). Nah seriously, it being white with that small splash of color at the end of the cabin looks kinda dumb. Would look cooler if there'd be a way to mod some more militaristic helis from online in there... Otherwise it looks cool as fuck, makes me wanna do another round of the GTA story
Noose's helicopter is from the Patriotism and Immigration Authority (PIA) an agency that first appeared in GTA 4 and is based on ICE and CBP and this helicopter is based on the helicopters that CBP uses (and the helicopter doesn't look like a news helicopter it is basically the CBP helicopters but with NOOSE colors (and the NOOSE PIA livery is better than the CBP livery in real life in my opinion)
i have mixed feelings about rde, on one hand, it corrects the sheriff system by adding bcso, which i really like, and also support for sixth star with army dispatch, but overall it feels a bit too complicated and far from vanilla experience, especially redesigned vanilla cars to look more like their real-life counterparts (at least it's what i assumed)
Yeah RDE's BCSO is a complete ripoff of San Bernandino County Sheriff's Department. The uniforms, vehicles and badge that RDE made for BCSO was based on SBCSD.
Seeing that people had spotted multiple Leonida LE agencies in the GTA 6 trailer, I can only hope RDE made Rockstar take notes. Kinda how GTA 4 police mods (particularly the ones to add proper LED lightbars) seemingly influenced the ELS on vanila GTA 5 emergency vehicles.
Hey, I’m having trouble installing the mod. When I use the package install feature on openIV and open “RDE 4.0.2.oiv”. I get an error message and it says something along the lines of “Package file is not a valid file”. Does anyone know what’s happening?
It's all good and that, but I don't think it's the chopper's off livery is what breaks the immersion in the scene where a heavy armored dude casually carrying a minigun shoots said chopper down.
I'm pretty hopeful gta 6 will have more detailed cops judging by the trailer showing off things like Florida state trooper livery's for cars and other gang unit cops and such

NO, NO Noose is not just Swat, Noose is based on the US Department of Homeland Security (the agency logo, the vehicles and the fact that there was a former director of the agency in the game's lore (GTA 4 mainly) prove this) The SWAT you refer to is called Tactical Response Units (TRU) which are based on the DHS Special Response Teams (SRT) mainly from ICE and CBP which are the Patriotism and Immigration Authority (PIA) which is based on ICE and CBP so noose is not just swat and the name is not an edgy name, noose is only considered just swat by ignorant people but for people who appreciated the lore of the game universe noose is the department of homeland security but a parody of DHS in the game like the FIB is a parody of the FBI and is over
Yeah and it always bugged me that LSSD patrols Blaine County instead of Vinewood Hills and Davis. Blaine county should've gotten their own police agency.
An answer to the helicopter could be that some police stations don’t have a personal helicopter so they use a different helicopter like the Fort Collins police department unless they got one recently.

GTAO also uses P2P netcode, so game is hosted by players. The only servers they have is for storing player data like your cash and rank, etc So yeah, i still don't recommend you use SP mods in Online as it will cause desync issues and crashes for other players. Oh and btw, Scripthook and OpenIV's ASI block Online gameplay, so you can't even launch online (and for weird reason, the creator) so you should be totally safe

They're wearing stolen military body armor from a convoy that they killed. I guess the army would have jurisdiction as they were attacked first.

you can also edit the popgroups.ymt to add the vehicle you want to spawn in traffic especially from other lore-friendly vehicle mods.

NO, NO Noose is not just Swat, Noose is based on the US Department of Homeland Security (the agency logo, the vehicles and the fact that there was a former director of the agency in the game's lore (GTA 4 mainly) prove this) The SWAT you refer to is called Tactical Response Units (TRU) which are based on the DHS Special Response Teams (SRT) mainly from ICE and CBP which are the Patriotism and Immigration Authority (PIA) which is based on ICE and CBP so noose is not just swat and the name is not an edgy name, noose is only considered just swat by ignorant people but for people who appreciated the lore of the game universe noose is the department of homeland security but a parody of DHS in the game like the FIB is a parody of the FBI and is over

I absolutely love this, I always hated that only the LSPD/LSSD and NOOSE were the only agencies that would chase you down.
Yeah and it always bugged me that LSSD patrols Blaine County instead of Vinewood Hills and Davis. Blaine county should've gotten their own police agency.

An answer to the helicopter could be that some police stations don’t have a personal helicopter so they use a different helicopter like the Fort Collins police department unless they got one recently.
The sherrif station in paleto bay has a helipad.
I don’t play the games often so I was not quite sure! Though then it makes the helicopter more accurate!

In short, no they can't. GTAO also uses P2P netcode, so game is hosted by players. The only servers they have is for storing player data like your cash and rank, etc
So yeah, i still don't recommend you use SP mods in Online as it will cause desync issues and crashes for other players.
Oh and btw, Scripthook and OpenIV's ASI block Online gameplay, so you can't even launch online (and for weird reason, the creator) so you should be totally safe

the helicopters are from noose PIA which is based at DHS CBP the helicopter is not a news helicopter but a noose helicopter (federal agency)
