INQUISITOR: This song is vaguely inspired by the 1968 film "the witchfynder General", directed by Michael Reeves, and talks about the corruption and brutality of a certain type of Catholic church where horror and cruelty are depicted as the only way of affirmation of a corrupt and hopeless humanity.
