I have been following you for SO many years and have loved watching every phase of your life. I too have 2 young children and life has never been busier with everything going on. I discovered Melanie through your channel and have followed her for years. She taught me how to sew. I've been thinking about her a lot lately since she's been away from social media since her last health update. I wish all of you the best. It truly breaks my heart to think that she is going through so much.

Rachel, I’ve been watching your videos for 9+ years! I feel like it’s a treasure and treat to see whatever you are creating and sharing. You are so inspiring and I’ve learned a lot from you. From planning for road trips, to yummy crock pot meals, to pamper routines, and essential oils, and now gardening! I feel like you are a sister in the Lord! I can see your heart for your sister and it’s beautiful. I am praying for her and the whole family.
It’s been a hard year for our family. I lost both my mom and stepmom within a year.
Just know you are loved by the King of Kings and have a whole lot of others who support and pray for you and your family!

I am so sorry to hear Melanie passed away. I’ve watched her tutorials over the years as recommended by you. I’m thankful you all have been a support system for each-other. I can’t imagine going through this with my siblings but I understand how destructive and dark dying with cancer can be. We lost my sweet grandma to cancer and it was hard to remember the good times after seeing her deteriorate before our eyes. She will always have a special place in my heart.
When you showed the pictures of your sweet smiling sister, my heart just ached. I have followed her on UA-cam for years and she taught me how to sew! I made her boxed makeup bag as one of my first sewing projects. I miss her videos and my heart just hurts for you all. I'm sure it's a huge blessing to her to have you so close. I am praying for you all ❤️

Thank you for sharing. You truly never know what people are going through . This is a good reminder to always show grace. One of the hardest things I’ve experienced was watching my Dad fight cancer, I’ve never felt so helpless. Prayers for your sister in law and you and your family.

I don’t understand how things happen like they do, just praying for Rachel’s entire family🙏🏻Rachel needs time to grieve and just be with her loved ones right now🙏🏻

I am so sorry your entire family is going through this. I know exactly how you feel. My very strong mother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer this summer and I am her caregiver and its so hard to see the ones we love go through this battle. I think you have done the right thing. I was so happy to see you post a video because I've watched you evolve and grow over the past 12 years. I am truly sorry that your sister-in-law is so sick. I am crying as I write this because I can so understand what your going through and it sucks! During the past 3 months I lost my mother-in-law, my beloved uncle, my cousin (his son) and 2 friends to cancer one after the other. I can understand how hard it must be for you and your family to find joy and put on a happy face. You take care of your family and I for one will be here when your ready. Wishing all of you the best holiday season possible and may 2022 be a better kinder year for us all.

I went right over and subscribed to Melanie's channel bc I inherited a sewing machine from my partner's mom, when she passed this past summer, and I really want to learn to use it! So thank you for sharing her information! Also, I love your new song! It's just beautiful! It instantly touched my heart and i saved it to my favorite music videos! As I was scanning for videos on making key fobs, one from Melanie popped up that was made 8 years ago. After watching the video I looked to see whether there were more recent videos that I might have missed, even as a subscriber. It was then I realized she hadn't been active on YT for months and months. I checked her website and found her post from last October in which she explained what has been happening. I then by chance checked once again the other channels she highlighted on her YT page, and yours was one... Thank you for this December note, which explains much I couldn't piece together from the other sources. Thank you also for subsequently posting the lyrics to your song...a touching message. My very best to you, your family, and especially to Melanie. Wish her much strength...

Rachel, I love your channel. My children are grown now (23 year old daughter and 29 year old son ) and I teach preschool. While my channel is where I show my doll collection, I love your channel and have followed you and supported you here for a long time. I bought a ton of your bath bombs about a year ago and everyone I gifted them too loved them! I love your homemade skin care and your gardening videos and your cooking and home life videos. I am sad to hear of Melanie's stubborn cancer! I have watched many of her utube's! She has helped teach me crochet about 7 years ago! I also have made her circle skirt pattern and apron! I can't imagine dealing with such life issues while raising kids! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

I used to watch your videos a long time ago but it has probably been several years I’m ashamed to say since I last viewed one. Today for some reason something told me I needed to go to your channel. It’s been a pretty busy day but finally I just stopped and found this video. I will be praying for your sister-in-law and your family. Prayers of healing for your sister in law. We just went through my father in law passing from pancreatic and lung cancer but he was elderly. It was 4 days after last Christmas and then this whole year has been moving and settling my mother in law who has dementia. Those kinds of health issues effect the entire family and it basically takes all your time and energy. Take the time you need. I look back now and I can’t believe we made it as a family through such a stressful time. I have chronic health issues and they all got put on the back burner. I am still playing catch up.
You are so inspiring. You seem like such a real, genuine down to earth person, amazing mother and wife and sister etc etc. I don’t typically follow mommy vlogger type channels but you have a different energy.
