Great job guys! Nice to see a dairy starting back up. We have lost so many dairy farmers, the big ones going are struggling to keep going. It takes a dedicated person to do dairy, really proud of you guys on your undertaking. Keep up the great work.
Tim from Canada?.. if you were able to get your skid steer inside your stall, go to the highest point, and start pushing your manure into piles down near your door. If you were able push it all outside this way it is easier for you to load start at your highest point. start pushing to the doorway. You should be able to put all these into piles and then be able to take them out through the door…..
Very nice to see a younger generation in Vermont so passionate about dairy farming. My grandfather farmed north of Rutland, 2 uncle's and cousin farmed south of Rutland. All have stopped the dairy business. It's sad, but to see that your farm is growing is encouraging to see dairy is still around in Vermont. Thanks guys
congratulations on taking over this location! I saw the previous video but forgot to congratulate you, but here it is. what a great opportunity, is this location close to your own farm? Are you going to split up or will you all work at both locations? good luck with the expansion and greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you! This location is about 5 miles from our farm. So very close and will work out great for us once it’s all flowing like we plan. Both locations will be in operation
@@802Farmers okay, nice, 5 miles is a distance that is easily doable between 2 farms. cows taken over from a dairy farmer who stops milking for your second location? good luck and all the best to the whole family!
