    When I record myself, I noticed that I'm doing the same thing (elbow not folded, spread out). Coach Han is spot on when saying that we don't want to change because of the we feel comfortable doing that. I'm trying to fix that.

      Recording yourself is a great exercise. It will be the first step to improving your skills. Almost every swing involves the elbows. Keep them bent as long as you can. You will be rewarded.

    There are some movement patterns that allow you to generate slightly more force, or get a better angle at the cost of more shoulder fatigue. I've dialled back on those at the cost of like 10% smash speed, but much better longevity when it comes to training

      Yes, inconsistent swings are not your thing. If you can make consistent swings even at a slower pace, then you should choose that. Good.

    Coach, could you give aan advice on the badminton shoes for knee injury prevention? 😢

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  3 місяці тому +3

      You can consider volleyball shoes as a substitute instead of badminton shoes. They are softer. basketball shoes also fluffy Mizuno and Asics volleyball shoes but little heavier than volleyball shoes.
