    Finally after watching todays video
    I am unable to imagine playing badminton without knowing all these points.
    I cannot even say how many days it will take for us to discover these insights in the game without "coach han".
    Lessons like these help us realise the importance of a coach in our learning process.
    You people are really lucky to have a coach like him.

      우리 채널은 선수들이 보여주는 퍼포먼스의 결과가 아니라 그것을 만드는 과정에 집중합니다. 그러기 위해서 일반인의 몸상태가 선수들과는 다르다는 것을 이해하고, 인정하는 것에서 출발하는 거죠,

    저도 오랫동안 팔로 밀어쳤는 데 뭐가 잘못됐는 지 레슨 받아도 이유를 설명을 듣질 못했어요 ㅠ 문제를 알고 고치는 데 정말 오래 걸렸는 데 이 영상을 이제야 만나네요 ㅎㅎ 10년 전에 만났으면 더 좋았을 것을... 라켓을 앞에 두는 것도 동의하는 데 저는 특히 스매쉬 할 때 라켓 헤드를 눌러주는 각도가 나오는 데 도움이 되더라구요. 들고 있으면 임팩트시에도 지면과 라켓의 각도가 높아지거나 미리 손목에 힘이 들어가서 안 눌러지고 밀리는 걸 느꼈습니다.

      배드민턴 스윙의 대부분은 '원래 자세로 돌아오는 과정'이기 때문입니다. 앞에서 잘 준비해뒀다면 다시 앞으로 잘 돌아올 겁니다. 😀

    스매싱을 연습할 때는 어깨를 잘 열어서 때리는 편인데.. 경기를 뛰면 연습이랑은 다르게 점프하면서 몸이 안열려요.. 점프스매싱을 할 때 어깨를 여는 연습과 공은 몸을 기준으로 어느 쪽으로 두고 때려야하는지 잘 모르겠어요..

      실전에서 셔틀콕이 더 빠르고 낮게 올겁니다. 너무 서두르지 않고 치려면 연습때도 조금씩 속도를 올려서 그에 적응하는 게 좋을것 같습니다.
      셔틀콕은 왼쪽 손 앞에 두는 게 당연히 좋긴 하지만 매번 그렇게 칠 순 없습니다. 그때그때 최대한 할 수 있는 만큼만 하면 됩니다. 실제 게임에서 이상적인 자세로 스매시를 할 수 있는 찬스는 몇번 안 옵니다.

    coach what do you do when you suffer from shoulder pain? it feels like a tear, it hurts the most when you smash.

      You already know the answer. If it hurts that much, the right answer is to rest.
      Don't be too sad. Your badminton should last longer.

      @@raikinzel8681 A few months ago, I had similar shoulder pain. Stop playing and rest. Relax your rotator cuff and scapular muscles, and adjust your shoulder movement. With proper technique and relaxed muscles, you shouldn’t feel pain when smashing. Good luck!

    I don't agree with the racket position part, it depends on personal reference, only the elbow raise is the key here. And I never see a smash with that racket head infront of your head like that, am I missing some point here?

      Yeah, I also noticed that An Se-young's swing is similar to what Coach Han teaches. Most female players I watch tend to keep the head of the racket high behind their heads.

      @djhmax09. I think you don't know badminton. For a forehand overhand stroke, one must swing the racket forward in front of one's body in order to have maximum control and power. Of course, there're some other things one must do at the same time as one swings the racket.
