      Yeah she is. They might not do it at school, but she's screwed. Jac's a smart kid, thoughtful and self reflective. He's gonna do okay.
      She on the other hand has been brought up appallingly. "All me sisters have been expelled!" "If I don't go to prom my mum is gonna kick off." She has been given no boundaries throughout her life. She has no concept of ever being wrong. At some point reality is going to hit her like a train, and she won't know how to deal with it.

    • @frogguycharlie8557
      @frogguycharlie8557 4 роки тому +2

      KS-M
      True, but he’s still young. He was provoked verbally, and that lead him to fight back. Of course violence is never the answer ‘n all that, but after weeks of being mentally tortured by someone you just have to fight back really, because verbal fighting hasn’t worked so far, so I doubt it would’ve worked in the future.
      In addition, we’re all human and make mistakes. Lashing out at her was one of those mistakes, but it was provoked.
      Furthermore, mental abuse can leave an impact on someone for a lifetime, physical is mainly temporary and even so, if it is permanent that is usually better than having effects mentally.
      I don’t mean to cause any offence nor devalue your point, just saying my views ‘n that.

      I've unfortunately been in this situation. I was being badly bullied in my first secondary (moved because of it) and got into trouble because I was biting back at the others who were bullying me. Made me feel like poop. But I get why teachers have to tell you off. At the end of the day, whether right not wrong, you are breaking the rules and "misbehaving". Sucks from my point of view but I get it and get why teachers act how they do. The problem is when the bullies don't get punished or seem to get off "easy" and the bullies aren't dealt with.

      Katy Jane to be fair, that’s why control over anger helps. I get pissed off easily, and I do something back but subtly without it causing trouble. Some twat called my mum fat today, for literally no reason. He was polish and so was I, so I swore at him a bit in it. But the teacher can’t tell me off as she doesn’t know what they mean, so it could be bead but it could be good. Anyway, no one likes that kid, so I snitched on him for him to have some consequences for his annoyance.

    • @luxlox9029
      @luxlox9029 6 років тому +12

      vivien okunbor I agree with helping him handle his anger. But stoping bullying outside of the school place, starts with stopping bullying in the school place. Teaching that the bully’ll go unpunished if they can skeeve their way around it, teaches kids they can bully in later life.

    • @ItsAv3rageGamer
      @ItsAv3rageGamer 6 років тому +63

      Yep. That's the way most schools work, if someone admits to having 'gone for someone' thats it. Game over. Girls always get believed over guys too when it comes to fights. Considering the camera picked up that she lied I don't know why the teachers weren't told.
      Was a bad investigation really considering apparently other people were hitting him also so there would have been witnesses. They should have asked these 'witnesses' if she said something or not.
      As usual schools don't do shit when it comes to bullying and Georgia who by her own admission is a bully, gets away with it. Because it isn't physical the school won't do anything. Of course the poor boy gets angry, lashes out and is punished for essentially doing nothing.

    • @sed2437

      Musical Shimmer everyone has a point though where they just snap and lash out I did in year 11 because some asshole who bullied me since year 7 and his chavy mates thought it would be funny to bully me the day after my Nan was taken into hospital which schools are a breeding ground for rumours to spread so it took half a day for the whole year to have found out and people apologising about my Nan been in hospital was annoying me so it took the one person I hated and his chavy mates to push that point that I'd be out for what I saw as revenge and also to shut him up about what he said

      As a documentary team it is your job to observe and not to intervene. So no they wouldn´t have shown the footage to the Head teacher. Also it would destroy their "image" in the eyes of the students and give of the impression that they are being watched and listened to everything that they say and do. And that would most definetly alter the behaviour of the children and therefore go against the idea of the documentary.

      A Fan I’ve been bullied by lads sexually, and one time a lad grabbed my bra and pinged it, I turned around and punched him because it was the 23rd time he had done it and each time I told a teacher I got told to ignore it. So after he did it in front of a group of lads I decided I couldn’t take it so I punched him so hard I knocked a tooth out he then proceeded to do then pull my skirt down after I tried to walk away and I got so mad I jumped on him and started punching him and after I was dragged off him I was screamed at and told by the teacher “I TOLD YOU TO IGNORE HIM! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” And I was then placed in isolation for a month, so my dad went to the school and said he was going to sue for sexual harassment, the teachers let me out and the lad was kicked out of school.

      SHOOKETH QUEEN this basically just sums up Britain’s fucked up system.
      Not gonna lie from someone who’s been bullied, all they get for a punishment is isolation or best case scenario 3 day exclusion.
      It is sad, but they don’t do much, that’s why people don’t really wanna report that shit, they just come back and make it worse.
      And sometimes teachers are really biased, so people like Georgia who’s been in detention and stuff a load of times have become “friends” with the teachers, but people like jac have never even spoken to some of those teachers.
      And it sucks so bad, but that’s just how it is, and no one makes much of an effort to change that.

    The deputy head also felt that Jac had been dealt with too severely. Here was a boy who had consistently been targeted by bullies. Even Georgia couldn’t remember if she stamped on his head or not. She should have been given anger management classes instead of Jac.
    Jac proved himself to be the better person all round but accepting it with dignity whereas Georgia was continually backed up by her pathetic Mother. As predicted, Georgia ended up pregnant soon after. And the cycle continues.

    Oh, come on. Do I need to spell it out? Georgie deliberately got herself excluded from the Prom. It was easier than admitting no boy wanted to take her, given her reputation. Jac was done wrong. One of the best ways to get rid of bullies is to stand up to them. It's not an anger management problem to do that.

    "You're a ticking time bomb" This takes me back to my school days, I remember being endlessly bullied and anytime I stood up for myself like Jac did, I'd be punished. The bully would deny what they did but I would admit to "lashing out" and I'd end up in isolation and anger management. Every school claims to have a zero tolerance policy on bullying but lets those who ARE bullied get punished by the system for defending themselves, and let the bullies get away. It fucks with the victim's sense of self worth. They tell you to find a teacher before defending yourself but often times teachers don't care enough to stop it, and there's not always a teacher available and you're out of options.
