Losing people close to you at your age when you're young hits you really, really hard. My best friend died when i was 6, I've never really gotten over it. It's something you carry with you for the rest of your life

I wish my school were this supportive when my father died. I was only 12 and it was awful. I remember one day in p.e, I didn't feel up to it at all, I told my teacher and she said 'just get your kit on, we all have to go through it at some point in our lives'. Im nearly 24 now and that comment will always stick with me.

I'm surprised some of these pupils didn't get tested for ADHD, maybe as a last resort medication could have helped them. Tom and the little guy don't seem to be able to control their behaviour, yet they constantly get told off for it.

ADHD isn't an illness and it's also much more common than people think. Yes children are silly and playful but the fact both children say they can't help it and their hyperness takes over that's a signal of a child with ADHD.

There are several things wrong with this clip:
1. Tom should have had some counselling to help him deal w the loss of his step brother
2. That teacher should not have shouted at Robbie-Joe for being late to tutor period when he was helping his friend who was on crutches, I’m sure the teacher would have done the same if it was one of her friends
3. Both of those boys should have been tested for ADHD or Autism

Sometimes teachers do need to think about why they are having a go at there students. The little kid helped his friend on crutches, surely that was praiseworthy action. I am a teacher so I’m talking from experience.

Tom should get tested for ADHD. He's very very similar to me and I have ADHD. I can tell, hes not being disruptive for attention because nobody cares. He's doing it because he physically can't concentrate.

when toms brother died it hit me hard, i lost my sister last year and went into school the day after her funeral. i didn't speak to anyone for days, none of the teachers really cared for me though my school just put me in detention and watching the school look out for tom and be nice to him touched my heart
