Agreed I would have toned it before and them dried the hair before applying the pink in and gone slightly darker at the roots it's more like sorbet than pastel pink

Yea it doesnt look that great. It sorta looks like she did it herself honestly. Not that its terrible but yea I expected something beautiful considering the aesthetic of the salon. And sometimes it makes me feel bad bc sometimes bc trust people at high end salons to be really good at their job and sometimes clients dont know better and get left with a mediocre job that they probably payed a lot of money for
Yep, totally agree, they did not fully bleach her hair, more like a balayage technique, and the hair needs to be white or as near as for pink to show up. If she is happy with it then that's all that matters but it could have been so much better.
I feel you! I have naturally curly hair (not shown in my profile picture!) and sometimes they cut it SO BAD. It's like they forget that curly hair has shrinkage so I'll get it done and they've chopped half of it off 🙄🙄 EVEN WHEN I ASKED FOR A TRIM
Exactly me too. And their faces like if they really did an awesome job. How the hell can one tell them you don't like it. Idk, I can't. I know I should be able to but I can't, lmao. I just avoid them and learn how to do my own hair.
OMG you said about Olaplex!!! And I have to agree the consistency is too dry but I'm not a professional hairdresser so I can't judge. But the result is too orange for my liking (because the title says rose pink lol!)
I think the hair was more orange since they balayaged the hair as opposed to fully bleaching, which to me makes no sense as to why she had brassy tones in her hair consider her hair seemed pretty blonde to begin with so one would assume the balayage would've made her hair brighter not brassier. Edit: I did notice that the bottom of her hair was brown so when the hair was being bleached, it picked up brassy tones. I personally think they should've used a thinner bleach that would penetrate the hair and do balayage that way as opposed to using a thick bleach because I think that also was why she had other brashness remaining
Yea it is unfortunate. I mean I guess if she eventually decides to go back into acting though it will have already faded by then so I guess that might have been why they used a direct dye
I really wish they did the pink when her hair was dry. Wet hair doesn’t always take dye very well and it can end up splotchy (which this obviously did). And you can even see when they were applying the dye that certain parts of her hair just weren’t picking up the color at all.
We We We products that feature Ian Gray and Men director in the future with the game is the first step to get your first step of a better game that will be in the process know what you want and what you think of the year that suits us best suits you best of the three 😉 😏 the same thing in the future and the best way for you and
I do my own hair and it looks high end salon done. So no it doesn't look like she did it herself. It looks like a sihitty salon did it. I've been there in an attempt to treat myself to a "professional" salon job, at a reputable place. It cost a shiteload and was the worst dye, cut and style I've ever seen done. It ruined my hair and I never went back to a salon after that. I do it for 100 times less cost, dont ruin my hair and looks amazing, as well as lasts forever.
It’s yellow and orange in some spots because they didn’t completely bleach her whole head. They did like a high balayage and so when they deposit the pink, it looks brighter on the fully bleached areas of her hair and a more orange color on the pieces that weren’t fully bleached. It’s a more “natural” pink than a head that’s fully colored pink. I do think that they should’ve bleach her whole head though and made it completely pink, it would’ve looked amazing on her but either way she looks beautiful! Plus this kind of style is so easy to keep up with. All she has to do is throw some pink color on it. She doesn’t need to get her roots touched up if she doesn’t want to.
kajaz studios they should have done it with a teased foil. That way you eliminate the brassy hues. The fade out is much nicer if you lift past that 8/9 level hair.
I kind of feel like I'm the only one that prefers it this way. Like it's not so bold and dramatic- it's natural and blends in with her own color. Less upkeep and a more subtle grow out, so the roots won't be so shocking when they come in.
Brittany Dumas I actually disagree, there wasnt really a need for a teased foil. I think it could just be a matter of the lightener. They used a clay lightener and I think if they had used something like Schwarzkopf BlondeMe they couldve gotten a little bit more lift without the use of a foil to incubate it. Her hair was naturally a 6/7 and she had highlights in the realm of an 8,9,10 scattered throughout. I think they could have been a bit more strategic about the way they did it and it would have been fantastic. I just did the same technique with the same goal for color on a client last week and it came out perfect
this is the second hair transformation I've seen from this channel and I must say I am disappointed in the work they did. goes to show don't judge a salon by how professional it looks smh
This is going to wash out in less than a month, guaranteed. It’s already yellow. When I dyed my hair, I went to platinum blond first and then toned it. They didn’t bleach enough for a dye job. That place looks expensive, too.
It can be extended with a pink/rose gold depositing shampoo. But yeah, they should have toned and dried before even thinking more color. A darker pink would have gone over that toned blonde perfect, but as long as she likes it I guess.
But rose gold hair isn’t supposed to be vibrant pink. She’s not trying to look like Stephanie from Lazy Town. Rose gold hair is like 90% blonde with just a hint of pink. Yeah it’s going to wash out quickly, but that’s how rose gold hair is. It’s requires constant upkeep. If her hair was platinum blonde and then they put pink dye on, her hair would just be bright pink.

I like the dye job, despite what others are saying. It looks like a nice peach. It may seem uneven in some parts, but think it adds to the naturalness of the color

It's a pretty color, and you can see from my photo that I don't mind orange hair tones. However, were you asking for rose gold hair or rose pink hair? Rose gold has warmer tones, and rose pink is usually just a soft, light, cool pink. I'm just wondering if you got what you wanted. This looks like an attempt at a rose gold that was a little more peach or orange toned. Still very pretty, though.
I just rewatched this and they definitely could've gone about this differently. For one, a clay lightener was used to balayage her hair. Personally I think they should've used a regular lightener so they have a bit more lift even if they used a lower volume developer. If they were looking to control the lift, they could've gone about it by using a different bleach and still at a low volume considering her hair was already blonde. To do a pastel pink you need to lift the hair to a level 9 at the very least..her hair was more of a level 8 so it did not grab the tones as well. I'm sure this salon does a great job in other kinds of color, fashion colors are probably not their specialty
She can rock any hair color bc she is gorgeous but honestly the color is not well done, in fact it is super brassy. She had an incredible base and they have done a horrible job.
Pink color is so hard to achieve, especially when your roots don't lift to a really pale banana yellow color. That's not pink,it's orangy messy color!!!

Going from blonde to black hair color!
Unicorn ombre hair
Unicorn ombre hair
Pixie cuts or big chops
extremely curly to permanent straight
Hmmm.. I think it looks a little orange in places? They should have done a blue toner to remove the yellow, before putting the pink on top.
Agreed I would have toned it before and them dried the hair before applying the pink in and gone slightly darker at the roots it's more like sorbet than pastel pink
my thoughts exactly
If they had removed the yellow, the color wouldn't be rose gold ,it would be pink

Who's that???
i would've bought box dye on my way home after this 😬
No joke 😭😭
did they leave all those brassy tones in on purpose? it's gonna wash out terribly

I think maybe they were going for more “rose gold” pink

Yea it is unfortunate. I mean I guess if she eventually decides to go back into acting though it will have already faded by then so I guess that might have been why they used a direct dye
I was laughing about that the whole time. That color was probably half faded after her first shampoo.
I got mine faded in two days 😑😑😑

With the shit job they did, I'd bet it wouldn't last a week especially if she frequently washes her hair.

I agree the hair still has some blond and some pink in it. The pink looks washed out. The hair looks thinner too
I think it’s supposed to be like that because the color is called rose pink, it made me think of rose gold coloring like that peachy pink hue.
