During the summer make sure to run some type of fan to keep the air circulating or you will get very high humidity and possible fungal problems. I used to have a 15x7 greenhouse and I used a small shop fan to circulate air, helped keep the leaves of my vegetables and berry plants dry. You can also leave the door open and top vents to get a natural breeze flow

I love your new greenhouse! Your ability to start the season early without the "fig shuffle" will be awesome! Enjoy your new fig home!

Congratulations for your new greenhouse. The greenhouse will not contain all the fig trees when the roots go into the ground because the trees will expand in size.

Maybe I should rethink that then! Thanks Ben!

Great collection and nice greenhouse!! Today i subscribed and watched all your videos! i am no expert just starting myself but i have researched the subject a lot. 1) your watering system is wrong..Fig trees do not like to get rained ,especially when fruiting..no bug is ruining your figs but the rain.. install a drip system. 2)fertilising : it does affect the taste to a big point..try to mimic nature.. Figs are decidious trees ..in Autumn they drop their leaves so they use them as mulch and fertiliser for the next season.. research Jadam Liquid Fertiliser.. make a liquid fertiliser from their leaves and unripened figs(watchout it really stinks) or compost them and make teas with that compost. Fig trees love calcium and potassium(you mentioned crushed eggshells..good for you..) another good source is wood ash from natural wood burning(1 liter of ash to 5 liters water.leave it in the sun for 2-3 days .use 1 liter of that for 10 liters of water once a week) + the teas from fig compost and you will enjoy delicious organically grown figs.. 3) the green house will not fit all your trees once full of leaves.do not let the roots go in the ground...they should not touch each other and ideally should not shade each other.. keep some early ripening varieties outside ... Other than that i love your soothing voice and beautiful face and want you to do better!! Thank you and sorry for the bubbling...

I’m so honored that you watched all my videos!! Thank you very much!
Funny that you are telling me about the Jadam method- a friend just turned me on to “Garden like a Viking” and I watched every single video! 🤭
I started the stinky container and I put everything in there that came off my fig trees +,eggshells + banana peels + azomite + manure + forest floor mulch + vegetable scraps!! 🥳
I’m very excited to try it. No more store-bought fertilizer. Please keep me posted on your collection!

I am getting the smaller GH. Yours look amazing! Thank you for sharing. Did you use your potting bench?

That’s wonderful!!! They are so beautiful it’s a shame they are not more widely known in US. I don’t believe mine came with a potting bench. My trees will get so big so my concern was space. Best of luck to you, Gina!!! 💐

Your green house has the alot of views; looking forward to more videos in your green house 😊. You have such a lovely voice. You mentioned they didn’t give you enough rubber seals for the doors? I hope no missing items in the package. I am hiring a contractor to put this up for me as I am unable to do it myself. Hopefully, everything is all in the shipment as my contractor plan to spend one day to install this for me. Where did you buy the pink insulation rolls - Home Depot?

@ginawong1285 Thank you so much for the sweet words! We actually made a mistake because we didn’t know that the seal was only for the doors. My husband used it everywhere- which I’m happy about! Don’t buy the heater from them, just get it from Amazon. Twice they sent me a problematic heater. It will take at least 2 people to put it together. It will probably take about 2 days. I’m so excited for you!! Post videos of what you put inside it. 🥳
Oh, and yes, the pink insulation, we got from Home Depot.
