Afternoon Mike 😃 just got around to watching this one and I agree 100% I love my Peterson pipes them along with my pre 1950 Yello Bole pipes are my pride and joy of my collection and I seem to constantly come up with reasons why I need just one more 😆😆. Have a great day
Well I might be moving back to your boat my friend. I would not be waisting anymore time looking. The company that owns Peterson only wants your money. Nothing else and doesn’t care about customer service or anything like that.
My good sir: I would like to compliment your excellent taste in pipes, tobacco, and very fine whiskey. All three compliment each other well. I too am a big fan of all three. And that Peterson shirt is fantastic. A wonderful video, it was a pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work.
Well thank you so very much!! I truly appreciate it. It’s a great combo. Thanks so much for your comment. That made my day. I hope you stick around for future videos of mine
Good to listen to ya talk about this venerable old pipe company. I do have a soft spot for them, since a Peterson Liscannor XL90 was my first proper briar pipe. And cool gifts from Lester. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Good seeing you, Mike! Another fun video. These catalogs/books are very neat. I only have 2 Peterson pipes. Im still not completely sold on them. Have a great Sunday. Cheers!!
Cheers Mike, Always good to see you! I’m smoking KBV Ol’ Claymore, Virginia, perique and Latakia in my meerschaum. I do not own a Peterson yet. Be Well!
Great review… loved the ReadcoatsReturn tribute as well. Watching this sipping Cringle 2022 out of my new Peterson 2024 St Patrick’s day pipe. I’m a big fan of Peterson pipes… quality/price-point balance is spot on in my opinion. Cheers and Happy Sipping, Z~
Great stuff, Mike. I had just finished watching RedcoatsReturn today. He has some great things uploaded. Absolutely agree the Peterson pipe is one that needs to be considered. Their prices are reasonable. 💨💨
I have just one Peterson, a straight Dublin with an army mount stem. Bought it new just about six months ago. I'm enjoying it very much. Quite pleased with it. Have a good week buddy.
Great video Mike, I too have a love-hate relationship with my Petersons, I think they’re beautiful pipes, and they smoke really well. The only issue I have is a pipe cleaner through the top of the PLip right at the bit. I like to run my cleaner through the end of the bit and out the stem to get all the residue away from the mouthpiece getting a pipe cleaner to slide in to that goofy little turn at the PLip can sometimes be frustrating.
I currently only have one Peterson, a B5, also a P lip. It is my favorite pipe to smoke and I quite like the P lip. I will be adding more Peterson P lips to my collection. I have been enjoying your videos.
Hiyas Mike, I'm glad that the Peterson legend lives on. So sad when a historic and venerated company fades away like so many pipe makers have done over the years. Especially love the T-shirt from dear old Lester. When i wear my pipe related T-shirts, out and about, i get some quizzical looks from the locals. Perhaps i have the plaque. KPO ✓ Gary
Hi Gary!! Those looks are the same looks I get as well. I just keep carrying on :0) ha!! Yes it’s very sad my friend. Glad we still have the few we have. Thanks so much my friend!! Mike
Nice chat, Cheers to you! I share your positive impression of Peterson. Over so many years of continuous production, there have been some low points and high points, and there was a dip in quality a few years back that has been corrected. I buy and smoke pipes I like, and I don't buy those I don't like more than once. I buy mostly Petersons these days.
Hi Mike. Great impression of Lester ! I visited Peterson when I was in Dublin 10 years ago. I have four Peterson all plip but one. That's the Dracula pipe. Really like the catalog going to look for one of those. I used to drink old bush mills on occasion. It's a good Irish whiskey. Your peterson is very nice. What number is it? Cheers Ron
Hi Ron Thanks so much my friend! I believe it’s a 303 but who ever owned it originally scratched out where the number is. So guessing. Thanks so much my friend Mike
Good Evening 😊 So glad to see you in the FROG & TOAD 🤗 Nice pipe tobacco and pour 🥃 Nice shirt , lighter and tamper my ol Mate 😍 WOW 1896 CATALOGUE 😉 Thats histroy in your hands👌🏽P Lip is not for me 😢 i have one and i swapp it from time to time 🙂 Thanks for the chat and i appreciate your time sharing a pipe with me 🌬💨💨 Have a Blessed Sunday & Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Great video! I own more Peterson pipes than pipes from other pipe-makers. They seem to have better quality control now, but I still come across an issue on occasion. Having said that, when peterson get it right, it's just about perfect.
Hi Mike another belter video mate. I like many others was getting fed up with Peterson because of real poor quality control, I’ve 6 in the past and only 2 passed the good pipe mark. Drilling way to high drilling left Or right of where it should be, one of them was a spigot and I couldn’t get a draw because the seal was terrible and I was sucking in air so I thought hmm that’s it never again. But now you mention it, maybe I should give them one more chance. Cheers pal have a good one 👍🤝👊
Like Lester said, “well done My’ol Mate”. I had a Pearson during the second attempt at pipe smoking but ended up selling it. Must have been one of those made when QC wasn’t great. May have to try one again someday. Cheers brother.
Great Presentation.Peterson is such an interesting brand and make great looking pipes.Im hoping I come around on the P- lip though,Im not sure if Im that crazy about it.
Hey thanks!! They should be a future consideration in my opinion. But at the end of the day we each know what we like and what we want. I am happy with the new ones. Thanks so much my friend. Truly appreciate it!! Mike
Hi Mike, I love your videos, and appreciate your great content. If i may ask...who is the maker of your cap ? I have a similar Hanna hat, and one from Fia. Take care, and have a great day 😌.
Hi my friend. Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. My cap in that video is a Hanna hat as well. My new ones I’ve been wearing are from Lee Valley in Ireland. Great caps as well. Thank you again so much. I hope you will continue to watch and comment my friend Mike
😄😄😆🤣😄 Well done…my’ol mate 😄😆🤣😆😊👍👍 I like Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey too…its worth the the price and smooth too 🥃 😄👍👍

Oh neat!! That’s a nice whiskey with a nice pipe and tobacco. Thanks so much my friend for watching!!
