To my mind, the best telling of the Peterson story on YT.

You did an outstanding job with this documentary. I thought the fact that Peterson gave away 1000's of pipes in his lifetime and endeavored to produce a first-rate pipe that anyone could afford, speaks volumes of his character and vision.

Great story. I love the history. I recently bought my first system pipe and I’m enjoying it very much! Looks like it’s time to start a Peterson collection!

Great video. I have two Peterson pipes. The first, a patent, which I hate smoking…but it’s pretty. The other is an overused, Irish Seconds, with a simple stem, which is the best smoker in my collection.

A great tribute to Peterson pipes, great research, beautifully intellectual and a fascinating story! 😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😉 I love the especially p-lip and the dry system designs and patents by Peterson 😄 I think Charles Peterson was very observant and analytical to guide his thinking to find innovative solutions 😊 My favorite model is the Sherlock Holmes Rathbone Sandblast 9mm p-lip 👍👍 I haven’t found a Nap Peterson pipe…it would be great if Peterson would make them again 🙏🏻😄

Watching this while smoking my nearly 30 year old Tyrone. It was one of my first pipes. I have beat the hell out of it, the stem has oxidized, the finish has cracked, I’ve inadvertently burned the top, and it smokes like a dream. Great video with fantastic history and pics. Thank you.

Thanks, Malcolm. Your earlier review of the Peterson book meant a lot to me! I think my readers at Peterson Pipe Notes would really enjoy reading an interview with you. If you're at all interested, leave me a a comment at the blog site and I'll be in touch.

Wait a second. .."Photos by Chas. Mundungus"???!!! Please tell me that's a wee bit of humour! ;-)
P.S. I know Marty Pulver. He used to show up at Edward's Pipe & Tobacco Shop in Los Altos, Ca. I bought a pipe or two from him. Very interesting fellow.

Are the Nap/Clamshell buttoned stems available just as stems to swap out on my own System pipes? Where can I get them?

I don't know if this is where I should find the answer. I received a number of years ago a collection of smoking pipes one of them is stamped "Petersens ?.....? Darte" kidare 05s. "Made in the Republic of Ireland" (the stamps are worn) The mouthpiece is stamped "P" But it has no silver ring. Haven't found any information about this pipe, maybe one of you can answer. Thanks in advance

I just bought your re-release of The Peterson Pipe book. Missed out on the hardcover but it's still an amazing book. The best out of the 7 or 8 Pipe books I own. Thank you for such an excellent book.
