I have one of those pipes. Mine is a little more crooked stem than that one. You made it look brand new. I enjoy your Sunday videos. I usually look at them in the afternoon while I'm relaxing from preaching Sunday mornings. Miss it this afternoon. Enjoyed it tonight while relaxing from preaching the Sunday evening service. You have a good evening.
That's like the Peterson I asked the question about how to reglue my band that had fallen off. I need to get back to pipe restoration soon, I have 54 of Dad's pipes to get done.
You do such a wonderful job on restoring a pipe keep up the good work can’t wait to see the next video and hope that your health improves I’ll be sending up some prayers for you
Hello there Tim, just found your channel and I’ve subbed you too as I’m thinking to buy a 301 tomorrow. I’ve been following the Ytpc for around 18 months and got persuaded to get in front of the camera by a few presenters and put out my first on New Year’s Eve, never thought for one moment I’d ever be a Ytpc presenter like many more out there. But it been a joy and loving the journey. The pipe looks great by the way good job.
@@The_Southland_Piper thanks you for answering I recently inherited my grandfather pipe collection He had a few that I would like to restore to their former glory while others I will Just leave them as they still have his personality attached to them but thanks anyways

Another fine job restoring the pipe. What is the solution in the container that you put the pipe stems in?

Tim,
What's the product you used to soak the stem in? Looks like maple syrup!

Great restoration Tim! What do you recommend for light oxidation on a vulcanite stem where the piper doesn't have a buffer?
Thank You. La Bella Epoque has some stem polish that works well.
