@MainlightPhoto Thank you so much Christian! I was also very happy with the way it turned out. Hope to continue to build on it. The content and locations definitely gave me a leg up on this one. Thanks again!
Wow!! Last year when we were there in Sedona, we weren’t too sure if FR-525 (Loy Butte) would be open, so I actually had this camping area where you were as my back-up. We were happy to end up on 525, but your spot looked good too - especially if pink Jeep’s were running up and down 525 (they weren’t when we were there) That was funny about the “stolen wheels”. I showed that to my wife and it shocked her! Lol The Fossil falls was beautiful!! What a great place to hang out in the water. We saw the crowd and parking last year for Devil’s bridge and opted out. Definitely wouldn’t have gone this year either. Good perspective with the time lapse. Thanks for toughing it out so we could see it through your effort! What a cheer for Salena!! Great video👍🏼
@Laughing Ram Hey Ram! We looked at 525 this year while we were staying at the RV Park in Camp Verde. 525 was a zoo! It was busy last year when Marc stayed there as well which would have been well after you were there (I believe). So, that's why we looked for the alternative. Glad you liked my hijinks with the wheels. Sounds like I may have sold it well... Devil's Bridge was Covid closed when we were there last year. From what we had seen this year, I can see why! It was worth it for us this year just to get the experience recorded for the video if nothing else. And it was really worth it to hear the cheers for Salena. Too funny. Looks like you're getting all caught up on our vids! As always, thank you for watching and commenting Ram!
Hello Ed and Ann! and Jackie! Wow.....that Fossil Creek water fall is absolutely incredible!! It's amazing to see how clear it is too! You are correct; it looks like it will be great to take a swim in the summer. I am kind of surprised that the falls are not packed yet. Ha...ok...update: the crowds at Devils Bridge are huge! whew. Selena is the hit of the show that day. OMG...the time lapse of your departure from Devil's Bridge was the tell all. Let me update my assessment: the crowd's are insane! It looks like that will make it 3 mile hike vice a 2 mile for the late arrivals. Thank you for the campsite tips, too! It will be nice to have a spot to target whenever we can get down to Sedona. Thank you very much for another awesome video!! Safe travels to you all!
@campingalan Hey Alan! This footage is a couple months old. I'm sure they're swimming in Fossil Creek now. That would be awesome! And yes, the crowds were insane at The Devils Bridge. Pretty close to how mobbed Angel's Landing was in Zion. That video is coming up soon... You won't believe it. Thanks again for watching and commenting! PS Guido mentioned you stopped over to chat with him in Dolores. Gorgeous spot he snagged there, eh?
@@EddieAtLarge Bleh...boo to crowds; except at the sports and music events! Ok...very cool. I really look forward to your Zion video! I can only imagine the crowds there too; it is just such a huge bottle neck. And, doesn't help when someone wants to turn around half way up. Yes!! I FINALLY got to meet Marc and Patricia. What a great couple! I feel bad.....I told him I wouldn't take up more than 30 minutes of his time as he had to get back to work; and it was closer to 1hr 30 minutes. Ugghh. Oh well; I don't think he'll be much closer to here than he is, so I wanted to take advantage of that. You are most correct....he is in a really peaceful area. Once he sent me the coordinates, and I went to street view on the highway, I knew exactly where it was. I remember seeing that camping sign when I drove down to Phoenix in March. I have a short journey tomorrow; Telluride over to Denver and back to Montrose. Safe travels!
@@campingalan Glad you were able to meet them. We were fortunate and had the pleasure of spending 3 weeks with them. They are great. Hey, be sure to call him Johnny Utah next time you talk to him. That’s the nickname that I gave him. Haha. Safe travels Alan!
Hi, Homie. for some reason, I really liked this show. I liked the beautiful area, and the attitude of everybody in the video. You guys are really getting comfortable with the adventure, and your confidence adds to the whole enjoyment. The little river was a real treat. Your dog really seems to like the adventure as well. Keep on keeping on! Thanks for sharing! Stay healthy!
@Jon Miner Hey Jon! We were really happy with the way this one turned out as well. One of our favorites to date. And you are right, Salena is having a ball. She loved all of the attention at the Devil's Bridge. I might have to create her own UA-cam channel or at least an Instagram account. 😉 Thanks again for the kind words. Please also stay happy and healthy!
@The McMillan Express Thanks Christina! You & Ben MUST visit Fossil Creek sometime. As amazing as it looks on video, it is 10x more so in person. There is another route in from Strawberry, AZ that was closed to traffic when we went there and it is a much shorter drive over the bumpy forest road. So, definitely check with the forest service to see if that is open before heading out there. Sorry, couldn't stop myself from giving you more tips. 😆 Thanks for watching again and commenting!
@ Don Davis Thanks Don! The waterfall and trail was quite far from our campsite. The canyon and creek in the first segment was within walking distance though. They were 2 separate areas. Here are GPS coordinates for each. Campsite, Canyon & Creek: goo.gl/maps/VfiMpnfQkS9r3ihCA Fossil Creek Trailhead: goo.gl/maps/QMqvgKYpeLhxD7mi7
@Don Davis Excellent! We tried to go to the Grand Canyon, but, the East Entrance was Covid Closed. It is now open though. We actually boondocked in a nice area on the east side though for a few nights. Good cell service there too. Here's the GPS coordinates for that area as well if you need them: goo.gl/maps/NFQQLFNJPGtmyS8q9 Sounds like it's be a great trip!
Lots of people. I am not one to go through the hassle that it seemed to be, but when I heard the cheers for you and Selena from the folks waiting their turn, I realized that it must have been worth it for you. Who took the clip from the other side?
@T Kilg Definitely a lot of people! We normally wouldn't do that either, however, I really wanted to record the experience to be able to share it. All of the people were very friendly, courteous and patient. Jackie took the other clip. She also went out with her dog Patches and got a ton of cheers and applause from the crowd, unfortunately, I didn't have my video camera going as I was taking a still pic for her with her camera. Overall, it was a pretty cool experience. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@Crystal B Costa78 I did not realize it was closed. Googled and saw that the Backbone Fire is the reason for the closure. Hopefully it did not do too much damage to that area. So many beautiful old trees there...
@John Karlson Funny you say that, I was joking around on another comment making that statement. She would probably go viral with the first video. People do love her!

You had us at the stolen tires! LOL. Loved that waterfall! Another great video!
@Cheri Waller Thanks Cheri! Glad you liked the tire ruse! 😆
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing something I would otherwise not have seen!
You’re very welcome! Happy to share!
Out of a lot of really great videos, this may be the best. Perfect audio and video and the creek and bridge were super interesting! Great job!

Good thing Salena didn't see a chipmunk while you were on that "bridge"! LOL
@Sadie04074 LOL! That certainly would not have ended well! 🐿 🐕 🏃♂️

Hey Marcelo! Believe it or not, it was a weekday. Sedona is always crazy busy!
