    Wilhelm in his will did not want to return to Germany until the monarchy was restored. However, Wilhelm completed his will
    and passed before he could see the complete and total catastrophe of Hitlerism. I believe Wilhelm loved his country so much that he would have made any sacrifice to restore Germany's pride in her history. That's why I believe Wilhelm should return home. Every German soldier from private to emperor is entitled to be buried in the soil of their fatherland.

      It's the other way around. He passed away while the 'Hitlerism' was still in its rise, so while passing away he *may* have thought the opposite - Hitlerism rising further to its goals. That thought makes me sad.
      While 'Hitlerism' did not make it, it opens the door for his greatest wish, reestablishment of the monarchy. This ist still to come. And be sure. it WILL.

    I think that it would be a sign of international forgiveness if the remains of emperor William could be reunited with his wife empress Agusta Viktoria at Potsdam. Also the remains of the last emperor of Austria Carl should be taken back to Vienna to rest beside his empress Zita and his son Otto.

      charles prynne Ali Sina get onto the history books my son & also visit the various war museums of mainland Europe & read the official letters, communiqués, policies of his you'll understand what you've read is absolute false, I now say & defend the Kaiser as a great man but thinking was at one time at par with you.
      The Kaiser was the only monarch who sent an official letter to both Tsar Nicholas II & King George V requesting them to not go along with the war.
      When one goes into depth of history, only then does one learn that history is filled liers &/or history is always written by the victor.

      @@flo5272 The Allies bombed civilian targets during WW2. They killed 25,000 people and destroyed historical landmarks like the Frauenkirche in Dresden, and also took innocent lives and destroyed 800 years of history in Nuremberg in an hour. Does that mean that the heads of those governments that sanctioned such atrocities should have been forced to step down and go into exile? Wilhelm II was flawed, like we all are, a mix of good and bad. When Serbia apologized for the assassination of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, he rejoiced and said that Germany had the moral high road. It was his generals who pushed and pushed for war.
      When Kristallnacht happened years later Kaiser Wilhelm called it "barbaric", and though he blamed the Jews in part for his abdication and exile, he said that Nazi atrocities made him feel ashamed to be a German for the first time in his life. His remains should be buried in Germany, not because he was a perfect human being, but because he was the last link to a monarchy that embodied the aspirations and ideals of a united Germany and did good things for the German people, despite some only remembering him as being the "cause" of WW1, which is far from the truth.

    what a blessing! Finally to be given a full state funeral and buried alongside his family back home in his native Germany...truly a happy and holy death...now he can finally rest in peace alongside his beloved granddaughter, who died shortly after her birth, which I presume left him just as devastated as her parents were. St Paul tells us in his letter to the Christian community at large in Rome, "Brethren, let us be ever mindful of the fact that the pains and tribulations of this world are miniscule in comparison to the glorious and eternal reward that awaits us! Behold, I shall let you in on a beautiful and wondrous secret as revealed to me by our heavenly father by the grace of the Holy Spirit...In a twinkling of an eye, when the dawn breaks into a beautiful day, the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall awaken from their deep slumber and summoned to their eternal home...they shall rise up incorruptible and yet completely changed! O grave, where's your victory? O death, where is your sting? It's through Christ's death and resurrection, He conquered death. Aren't you not aware as baptized Christians, we also are partaking in that of Christ's death? It's true...just as through Christ's death, he got rid of our old sinful nature just as we did in accepting Christ's death at baptism, we also destroyed our sinful nature and returned as a new life and creation before God, so therefore we need not worry over dying on account of sin when we can live forever....Death, in the meantime, has no dominion or power over us...."
    Eternal rest grant unto the souls of thy Faithful Departed, O Lord, and Let perpetual light shine upon them! May the Angels receive thee into Paradise; May the Holy Martyrs welcome thee into the Holy City of Jerusalem, where Lazarus, who lived on Earth as a poor wretched beggar, is now languishing happily in the Bosom of Abraham, the seat of eternal life and everlasting joys! Amen!
    And with the Saints, give rest to the souls of Thy Faithful Departed Servant, where there's no pain, no sorrowing, no sighing...but life everlasting! Amen!
    "I go from a corruptible crown to an incorruptible crown, where no disturbance can be, no disturbance in the world!" - Charles I ('the Martyr King') of England.

      Do not try to revise history. The reality is that revolution broke out all over Germany in the dying days of WW1 and the Kaiser had lost the respect not only of the German people but the German army as well. It was left to Prinz Max von Baden to make it clear to the Kaiser that he had no following and that abdication was the only way to prevent the complete collapse of law and order in Germany. To try to sanctify the Kaiser is a complete denial of reality.

    This favorite grandchild of Queen Victoria and eldest son of the highly intelligent Princess Royal Victoria - later Empress Frederick, who herself exchanged letters with Karl Marx - was a versatilly gifted, innovative man with a quick apprehension that mastered his severe physical handicap in an admirable way. Through his promotion of science and technology, as well as by the unifying bond of his presence in many parts of the country, he first formed the modern Germany from Bismarck's forged German Empire. During his reign, in the architecturally flourishing cities imposing churches and proud synagogues were built in a number, as never before or after. The Jewish-Christian heritage of our country was thus valued and developed under him. As the head of state of Germany, he sought friendship and a good neighborhood with Great Britain, Russia, the USA and - yes - also with France. Unfortunately, in the latter case, his outstretched hand was never really taken. Even if he acted according to the ancient Roman motto "Si vis pacem, para bellum," (if you wanted peace, prepare the war), and therefore built up a navy capable of defending the coast, and kept the army functioning, he was aware that Germany could only lose by a war. The Kaiser was one of the few persons in charge, that tried til ‘the last minute’ to prevent the fatal outbreak of the ‘Great War’ (see the famous last telephone call with his ‘cousin’ Tsar Nicolas). And when after four years, the war was lost, the German Jewish patriot and general director of the HAPAG shipping company, Albert Ballin, was one of the first to take his life after receiving the news of the emperor's abdication, since he did not want to live in Germany , in which the emperor was no longer the head of state.
    Here are some quotations from and about Wilhelm:
    "It was a great mistake to insist on the Emperor's abdication in 1918. He would never have made Hitler a Reichskanzler. " Sir Winston Churchhill, 1945.
    "Had the Emperor died in 1913, his picture in history would be entirely different, and he would be one of the great figures in German history." Walther Rathenau.
    "The Germans will eventually curse the only flag the National Socialists have left them. And one day the Germans will burn this flag with the swastica.” Wilhelm II.
    "That's a shame what's happening at home now. Where are my old officers? They must protest and put an end to this criminal hustle and bustle. For the first time in my life, I am ashamed to be a German. "Wilhelm II after receiving the news of the Reichskristall- / Reichspogrom-Night, 1938.
    Ergo: This person simply belongs home! He belongs to the historical figures to which we - as Germans - can be proud of
    It would be nice if we, as his people, were finally able to appreciate his merits, and it would be equally nice if the House of Hohenzollern would interpret the relevant passages in the Kodizill to the Emperor’s last will (return to Germany only after the reintroduction of the monarchy ) in a generous way ...

      Semper .Talis : Kaiser Wilhelm II wasn't that peace loving monarch that you are trying to depict! Perhaps his father Emperor Frederick III was like that... but not Wilhelm! You seem to forget that his political mentor was Prince Otto von Bismarck, the Iron Fist... Go read the Kaiser's mother diaries and letters or the accounts written by some of his blood relatives... The Kaiser's personality, his role in WW I as well as in other political affairs and crisis is well established! You can't consider him a good ruler of the German Empire if that means he was a menace for the rest of Europe!

      Semper .Talis : And you can't also forget that the Kaiser was first of all Koenig of Prussia and Margraf of Brandemburg : the prussian war like mentality of his Hohenzollern ancestors was well inbeded within him and formed his character! He was Bismarcks pupil and an advocate of the Greater Germany including Austria and all territories with german speaking peoples... He also a defended the theory that it was necessary for Germany to find vital land space (Lebenland) to the east and overseas, in order for the German Empire to continue to grow, geting more developed and industrialized thus becoming the first world power!

    • @Hainbollo1
      @Hainbollo1  7 років тому +5

      Dear Filipe Matias, thank You for Your detailed comment.
      But please don’t think me inpolite, when I disagree with most of what You wrote.
      First of all, we will never know, what role in history Emperor Frederick III. would have played, if he would have been able to rule longer than the 99 days fate allowed him to sit on the throne, before dying of tube-cancer. But You are right, that this is one of the greatest ‘what ifs’ in modern german history. But ‘what if’ - meaning ‘alternative history’ - is a ‘tabu’ for every earnest professional historian. Undoubtedly Frederick III - as crown-prince Frederick William - had a good influence on the early history-education of his two eldest sons, for instance - as the younger brother of the ‘Kaiser’, Prince Henry remembers - he told them much earlier about the deeds of Abe Lincoln - which he admired - than about the deeds of their Hohenzollern ancestry.
      The Kaiser was not the totally obedient pupil of Bismarck You describe him to be. After all he disagreed sharply with the domestic policy, the ‘Iron Chancelor’ followed in the last years in office. The conflict about the treatment of the Social Democrats was actually the true reason, why William accepted Bismarcks resignation from office. As Bismarck wanted to break the Constitution and use military force against the Social Democrats and the labours, the Kaiser thought such undertaking inconceivable. Back then he said: “I would very much like to be a emperor of the baggers and not of the wealthy”. By this he saved the Constitution of 1871 and the Social Democratic Party. The latter never thanked him for that ( instead August Bebel, the party-chairman, agitated against him in England; or see what happened in 1918…).
      The relationship of William to his mother ‘Vicky’ was a very ‘special’ one. She came to Prussia with the hope to realize many of the ideas there, that her great father, prince-consort Albert, had developed. And the emboyment of this hope was the heir to the throne, she would give birth. For her it was thus a personal disaster and a deep felt ‘failiure’, that this - oldest - son become physically handicapped by birthproblems. In a way she blamed him for this and never really showed him enough of her motherly feelings. I only mention this here, because, this stressful relation she had with her son, throughout her life is mirrored in her letters, that were published by Ponsonby.
      The ‘well established’ opinion on William, You mention, merely bases on the works and writings of Fritz Fischer and John C.G. Röhl. The first author was closely intervowen with the Nationalsocialists in the Third Reich and shared the parties contempt for the Kaiser (remember how bad Goebbels wrote in his diary about William one day after the former monarch had passed away). The second author undoubtedly did a gigantic work in research, but was not free of sentiment from the beginning. So in both cases You can question the results of their work, especially their conclusions.
      And by now, the works of Christopher Clark, Nicolauls Sombart and Christina Croft show a much more balanced picture of the emperor…
      And concerning his Hohenzollern ancestors and Prussia:
      The bitter experience that the lands of the ‘Brandenburg Hohenzollerns’ (besides them there were still the Francish Hohenzollerns around Nürnberg in Ansbach and Bayreuth and the Swabian ones in Hechingen and Sigmaringen around the original home-castle of the family on mount ‘Hohenzollern’) made in the Thirty Years War (1618-1648), when in lack of own sufficient troups, foreign armies marched through, killing over half of the population, has to be taken into account. (You can compare this ‘trauma’ with the Mongolic/tartaric oppression of Russia, that influences the soul of the Russian people and it’s scepticism towards foreigners, til this day). It was the Great Elector Frederick William, who drew the consequence of that, in building a first permanent Brandenburg army. And his grandson, King Frederick William I. - the so called ‘Soldier-King’ - organized this army to one of the strongest in Europe of the time. But he used it only as a means of deterrence, as he did not lead one single war during his whole reign of 27 years. And concerning the legend of the alleged bellicosity of Prussia, that was used by the allied powers in WWI.: Please read the brilliant monography on Prussian history, written in Germany during the early 1950ies by the great german-jewish Prussion Patriot Hans Joachim Schoeps, who survived the terror of the national-socialistic dictatorship and the horror of the Schoa (Holocaust). In this masterpiece of history literature he compares the numbers of wars, that each of the great powers, Great Britain, France, Russia, Austria, Spain and the USA , lead during the time of the Kingdom of Prussia’s existence ( 1701 - 1918). And each single of the mentioned countries lead more wars, than Prussia.
      And concerning the advocating for a ‘greater Germany’ (including Ausrtia) and ‘vital Landspace’, You obviously mix in the concepts of the Nationalsocialist Dictators, which in deed had those. But not Prussia or good old Imperial Germany. In fact Bismarck declared Germany as in respect of territory saturated - Bismarck did not even like the concept of Germany acquiring colonies. And the Kaiser sticked to this attitude. He knew, that his flourishing country could only lose by war. All other powers had strong war goals right from the beginning in August 1914:
      France wanted Alsace-Lorraine back, a nearly thorroughly german speaking territory, that Louis XIV. had stolen by force in the 17th century, and that desperately wanted to come back to Germany as early as the Vienna Congress (but Metternich did not want that back then), so Bismarck only fulfilled the wish of many citizens there, when finally talking it back in 1871. The ardent wish of France, to get this stolen goods of the ‘sun king’ back, was one of the driving forces behind WW 1 and the reason why the strong wish of the Kaiser for good friendship with France was always rejected by the politicians in Paris (George Clemenceau was one of the dreadful characters in this respect).
      Great Britain feared Germany’s strong economy, that was blooming even without vast colonies, which would have supplied the mother-land with mineral resources, etc. Germanies biggest power was instead his worldwide leading accomplishments in science and technique. (Look at the number of Nobel-prize winners from Germany before 1914). Many young Americans came to study at German universities back then. And some took the methods they learned there back home and founded John Hopkins University on this bases. This Success of ‘Made in Germany’ was of course a big threat for the British Trade and wealth, so it had to be reduced by a war. The legend, that the construction of the german imperial navy was the reason for Britain to enter the war, is a joke, because the admirality knew quite well, that the german navy, never would be able to challenge the royal navy, since it was only capable of defending Germany’s shoreline, which the few old-fashioned vessels the Kaiser inherited from his grandfather in 1888 were not at all able to do so. Thus the navy-building was not more, than getting even with the navy standart’s of all the other great European powers. And after all, the navies of France or the US were growing much faster and would have threatened Great Britian much more, than the German one. But in this respect no British polititian accused France or America of war-mongering. So, the navy was not the reason for England’s taking part in the war, but Germany’s peaceful economical success.
      And Russias war aim concerning Germany was gaining East-Prussia and it’s permanent ice-free harbours of Pillau and Königsberg, which is somehow a joke, if you think about it. This giant land - the greatest on earth in respect of territory - had to take land from a country that was ‘ a thousand percent’ smaller than itself…
      America entered the war in 1917 not because of the Lusitania disaster some years earlier, but because of the fear, that if there would be a peace-agreement between the European powers, which was at hand in 1917, the loans for Britain could not be paid back…
      On the contrary, the German Empire hat not territorial goals, when starting the war….
      Well, maybe You can think about all this…
      Regards to You again,
      Semper Talis

      Semper .Talis : Thank you for your kind words my friend! Obviously you know a lot more about german history than me: I am merely an enthusiast of World History (I specially like European History since I am portuguese)! Having said that, I must also say that I disagree with you on several points you have mentioned:
      1. The german vital land space theory had its origins in the late XIX century: it was called "Lebenraum" and was postulated by the german philosopher Ratzel! The Kaiser and the German Empire adopted this theory and tried putting it into effect through some of its politics in Europe which helped leading to the WW I conflict, namely:
      a) the moroccan incident involving a war ship of the Imperial German Navy against British/French interests in Morocco and the Mediterranean sea, menacing to bomb the city of Tangiers which had the statute of an international neutral Admnistrative Condominium;
      b) the 1st and 2nd Balkan Wars between 1911/13 which also affected both Austria and Russia along with their allies Bulgaria and Servia, the germans having suported Romania which was ruled by a prince of the Hohenzollern-Sigmarigen branch of the imperial family, not to mention the german involvement in Albania and Greece - the 2 Balkan Wars led to a lingering crisis and increased the tensions between the central powers - in my opinion these 2 conflicts were the immediate precursors of the Great War in 1914, the Sarajevo murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was simply the result of these tensions and not the cause for WW I itself, it was a political assassination and an excuse for triggering the war;
      c) the everlasting polish question and Poland's formerly extensive eastern european territories divided among Prussia, Austria and Russia in the XVIII century on 3 different partitions agreements, territories which the 3 central imperial powers still wanted to take from each other and keep for themselves during the XIX and early XX centuries because of its abondant natural resources;
      d) the unofficial german finantial suport of Lenine and of the bolcheviks, the Tsar's worst enemies, wich led to the October Revolution and to soviet communists wrestling power from the more moderate Kerensky and the overthrow of the democratic constitution orientated government issued from the February Revolution (the special Red Train that took Lenine and his entourage to Moscow with the sanction of the german authorities is well documented) ;
      e) the documented political will by the German Empire to expand its territory in Europe to the east and also overseas in Africa, and I am not refering to the 1885 Treaty of Berlin that divided the black continent between several european countries, atributing them respective zones of influence and defining their colonial frontiers - I am talking about german projects to simply take some african territories from other countries, projects which you certainly must know and that pre-date WW I;
      2. The nazis just appropriated Ratzel's "Lebenraum" theory and implemented it to the EXTREME - I think they prefered calling it "Lebenland" , I am not sure why! But the nazis were definetly inspired by the former German Empire's aggressive politics concerning the "Lebenraum" theory but they took it even further as you know! They were not the firsts who tried to implement the Greater Germany and they even tried making a political connection to the imperial regime of the II Reich by several means:
      a) the National Socialist Party flag, which later became Germany's national flag, had the same colors of the imperial flag - black, red and white;
      b) the nazi regime called the German State the III Reich to assert that it was the legitimate continuation of the II Reich and its politics;
      c) most of the symbols of the nazi regime were inspired by imperial heraldics such as the imperial eagle, the iron cross, etc.
      3. Kaiser Wilhelm II had Prince Otto von Bismarck's as his political mentor and personal adviser inspite of the age difference between them: if the Kaiser later didn't want Bismarck to become his Chanceler it was mainly due to the Prince's old age and not to any serious political disagreements between them! The Kaiser often listened to Bismarck's advices and benefited from his political experience in the early years of his rule! The Iron Chanceler was known to have an Iron Fist over the map of Europe defending german interests to the limit: he helped developing german industry and had army contractors such as Krups and others (the industrial Barons) to build bigger, better and more deadly weapons (from rifles to canons as Big Bertha), triggering an arms race at the time! Bismarck had a militarized view of Germany against Europe because he was a product of his generation, more prussian than german! It is well documented that Kaiser Wilhelm was influenced by Bismarck since a young age and that he was his pupil, thus helping forming his personality!
      4. Kaiser Wilhelm II's role before and during the Great War is well known to german and european historians and he was not a peace loving monarch! As I said before, you should try reading his mother's diaries and letters to several relatives and friends, as well as other accounts written by some of his close blood relatives and also by some of the people who were part of the imperial political scene and experienced facts in first hand (including people who were part of the Emperor's household, people who were in the Chancellerie and the Bundesreich and had some personal contact with the Kaiser, some german nobles and aristocrats, etc.)
      5. Emperor Frederick III's rule was an ephemerous one but all signs indicated that he probably would have been a moderate monarch, especially if you have in account his constitutional and liberal tendencies shown in statements he made and his actions almost during his whole life while Kronprinz, which were mainly influenced by his wife Princess Vicky of England! Of course this is a supposition and a futile exercise because we simply have no way of knowing how his reign would have been and if Germany would have ever entered WW I if he had lived longer! Wilhelm didn't even recognize his father's enthronement saying it was a non-advent since he was too hill to be officialy crowned in a coronation ceremony!!!!! He thought his father was weak and that he should have never reigned, he tried fiercely for him to abdicate and went several times against his sick father wishes: what does that tell you about Kaiser Wilhelm II's personality and character?
      Having exposed my thinking I also must concede the following:
      1. I believe that it would have been better for Germany and Europe if the Kaiser hadn't abdicated and gone to exile! If the II Reich had continued I think WW II might have been avoided, at least the probability was lesser!
      2. The Treaty of Versailles was an abomination and it humiliated unecessarily both Germany and the german people! The therms of the treaty concerning Germany were way too severe and not conciliatory in any way: I can understand the revolt that germans must have felt at the time and in the following years!
      3. We can't forget that Germany wasn't technically defeated in WW I, it conceeded an armistice, and not a surrender, due mainly to domestic and internal political turmoil which spread to the army and led to the fall of the imperial regime and the rise of the Weimar Republic, with almost a low intensity civil war inbetween!
      4. All imperial, royal and princely houses in Europe were blood related, having close ties to each other and almost all members of european royalty were relatives (and still are to this day)! This however doesn't mean that they would not declare war to each other or that they would try to protect their relatives at any cost! The ONLY attempt to try saving the Russian Imperial family that I am aware of was made by the British government at the request of a prince member of the English Royal family related to the Romanov-Holstein-Gottorp: he contacted the soviet government and Lenine offering to send a british royal navy ship to take them into exile but before the answer arrived the soviets just shot all of them! Kaiser Wilhelm II was facing his own very serious problems to try saving his cousin Tsar Nikolai II and family! Besides, I think he had no longer enough power to do anything to help them even if he wanted to! The pre-declaration of war telephone call recording that you say Kaiser Wilhelm II made to his cousin Tsar Nikolai II, I must admitt I have never heard it or have any knowlegde it even exists!
      We can't also forget that History is not a linear subject contrary to common belief, it is much more deeper and complex than that! And also we must always bare in mind that History is written by the winners... We have to search for other sources and study accounts from every side in order to have a more approximate full view of historical reality! It is all just a matter of perspective... We are always learning from the day we are born until the day we die, hopefully not to repeat the errors from the past and evolve as human beings citizens of the same planet! On the other hand, a people that forgets its history is a people without cultural identity, without values and principles! Loosing memory of the past will leave us poor and orphans of our ancestry! That is one of the reasons why I love History so much and find it so fascinating!
      I am honored to meet you my friend because apparently we have a common interest and share the same passion! Salutations from Portugal!
      PS: And by the way, I am a plebeian who defends the return of Monarchy in my country: I simply don't trust the republicans!
      I love reading the french LAROUSSE Dictionnaire de Histoire Mondiale and also the Encyclopedia Britannica: I love the smell and texture of old books... lol 😎

      Semper .Talis : I forgot to mention two things:
      1. The mentality of the european powers at the time of WW I was based on IMPERIALISM and strong military forces to defend their respective empires! Kaiser Wilhelm II wasn't the ONLY war monger in Europe! The French and the British are also as much responsible for the conflict as Germany and the Austro-hungarian Empire! The Kaiser's figure was demonized after the war and he was blamed for everything which isn't fair, he served as scapegoat!
      2. Half of the sovereign and noble houses in Germany didn't suport Hitler nor the nazis! The old aristocracy never trusted the nazis considering them stupid adventurers! Nevertheless there was a fraction of the nobility which served under the nazi regime simply because they were in the military ranks while others oposed Hitler politicaly!
      And thank you for the new information that you provided me, there were somethings I didn't know!

He abandoned the founding father of the Germany Empire (Bismarck) who worked rigorously to ensure that Germany would survive and pursued a Weltpolitik which isolated Germany and led to its destruction. Wilhelm II didn't even have the honour to go down with his ship; he fled Germany before the war had even ended, that is a treacherous act made even worse considering that it was himself who led Germany to such a situation. Restore the monarchy, but Wilhelm II shouldn't be celebrated, he spat in the face of Bismarck and helped to destroy the Prussian state.

The Kaiser had children, the future of the Monarchy, who he did not want murdered by Revolutionaries, so he fled to his Ally, the Netherlands.. I mean that orange sash wasnt for nothing that he wore on occasion. I agree with you to a point that Bismarck and his policies should of been heeded by Kaiser Wilhelm II however that water is under the bridge at this point.

    The Kaiser was the only monarch who sent an official letter to both Tsar Nicholas II & King George V requesting them to not go along with the war.
    When one goes into depth of history, only then does one learn that history is filled liers &/or history is always written by the victor.

      @@Lumotaku We can conclude that that was largely due to his withered left arm, they tried all sorts of "cures" on him when he was a child, including shock therapy I think. Even though he was born into royalty his early life was very hard, a King/Emperor needs to be able to ride a horse, so they trained him for months to ride with one hand, falling of the horse again and again, but eventually became quite good.
      It is also speculated by some that he suffered some mild brain damage during the difficult birth, some sources describing him being born looking blue, with everyone thinking he wouldn't survive, but they managed to keep him alive. He also lost his grandfather and father in the same year, that must've been difficult.
      But he was a good man at heart, during WWI he received a letter from a British POW who's mother was dying, he asked if he could go and be with her for her last moments, and he promised to come back to the POW camp once she had passed, Wilhelm allowed this, the soldier left for Britain, he kept his word and came back to the camp awhile later.
      He was also known for his love of dogs, whose gravestones you can find at Huis Doorn, his favorite dog, called Senta, lived for 20 years, a dog doesn't get that old without love and care.

    Every day there are more Germans who confess their long-felt impression that what happened on November 9th 1918 was not only a disaster for our people, but also an outrageous injustice and a gigantic ingratitude towards a man who was the creator of modern Germany and the representative of the best state we ever had on German soil. The Germans - trusting false promises - on this day have carried out a vicious patricide, to which they are still afflicted today, for it is unconcerned and repressed as a heavy nightmare on the collective soul of the people
    Germany will never properly recover before what has been torn apart on this fateful day is reunited. Instead of celebrating a hundred years of revolution in 2018, the Germans should therefore do everything they can to return the Kaiser home as soon as possible. This also includes that the representatives (heads of state !) of all the countries, which insisted on the abdication of William should convene at his grave and symbolically apologize and ask for forgiveness.
    Thus: GERMANS, LETS BRING DAD HOME !

The world has greatly been unfair to you and has used and abused your people for your kindness and discipline. A type of which other peoples could never live up to such standards, and that is why all the hatred and envy was tossed at Germans for so long especially by the English, French, the Americans and the Slavs. It is truly a tragedy, both world wars have come to represent the end of the legacy of Europe that started from Greece and Rome... Your people, Germans are the last defenders of Europe. And the world today does not appreciate or understand the implications of both world wars and what Germany was fighting for,and how much the loss has been not just a loss for Germany and Europe but for all peoples. Consequently, Both World Wars have basically eliminated the everyday class of decent and honest people of the world and to have been replaced by criminals, outlaws and the trash of the world's races which are now dominating everything and birthing children, while the important peoples of Europe are dying off. If Germany won, all the tribal conflicts and wars that Europe have been embroiled in for centuries would have withered away and been replaced with a new order of stability and justice in the truest sense of the word. A Europe that had totally restored dignity. If Hitler won the war, we wouldn't have things today in the West like Circumcision, Tattooing, Drug Addictions, Senseless Vices, Illegal Immigration, Degenerate Subversive Music, Mindless Entertainment and Outrageous Business Scandals that are legally protected with certain classes. I am from America, and I cannot wait for the day that the Anglo-American Empire ceases to exist which will finally liberate Germany, and I hope that the Prussian Spirit ignites once again for the world to see!

"Meisterleistung" Bagdadbahn. ...

    LONG LIVE SACRED GERMANY ... LONG LIVE KAISER WILHELM II!
    I would like to see The Monarchy restored in Germany. I think that the Allied Powers in 1919 didn't have to see the Kaiser Wilhelm II overthrown and sent into exile for the price of their peace. They should have reduced The Monarchys position in Germany to a ceremonial role such as The British Monarchy today. RESTORE THE MONARCHY (Wilhelm II Bloodline)

      +Joseph Henry Top priority of the "Allied Powers" was to see Germany DESTROYED (1914 - 1918) so there was no room for piety toward Kaiser Wilhelm ll. Since they did not succeed they tried it again from 1939 to 1945. Looks like they did not succeed again. Time to try it again!

      The British monarchy is not a ceremonial one. You should better do your homework. It's just like many European monarchies a 'constitutional' monarchy.
