Great video Rich! Looking forward to the next one as I often struggle knowing which secure/extracts to take and which ones are bad for curtain affiliation. As for which affiliation to make I'd love to see Asgard, especially if by that time we have more details of the new characters about to drop. And the second maybe an Uncanny X-men as they have also had a bunch of new characters come out including a new leader
I'd love a discussion on the Sentinels faction and the best use of Under Your Skin. I've seen people play Ultron1 and 2 with Sentinels, which seems gross. Especially combined with Age of Ultron.
Seeing as this is 7 months old at the time of my comment, where would New mutant and the mephisto one would go? Mephisto in the middle of Emma and Dormamu? But, anyhow, this is like a 101 what to do before going on the table for MCP. Great content.
Thanks for the kind words. I think for Mephisto, he would be down the middle (just because of his take anyone leadership), but I do think to get the most out of his leadership, you need to have a very good understanding of the game, so somewhere between Emma and Dormammu feels about right. For New Mutants, I again feel like they are a pretty complex affiliation, but I also think they are fairly well balanced and can play both the attrition and control game pretty well.
Great haircut! I’ve been watching MCP videos for about 8months without starting, think I’m taking the dive finally this summer. Originally looked at Guardians, but the child in me wants Hulk, Spidey, Wolverine, Cap on a team so it’s looking like Defenders! I’ll need to freshen up on what’s been rotated, esp with Scarlet Spider being a new addition
As a new player just getting into the game I think it'd be cool if in the last video of this series you built an Avengers roster using the new Captain America's leadership. Since Avengers seems to be the affiliation the core box gives you the most pieces for (but not quite enough to make a viable team), it'd be nice to maybe see what boxes a new player should buy next to make a competitive, or at least viable, Avengers team.
As always great video Rich 👍For affiliation analysis I am working on a SHIELD list and a Defenders one so those are the 2 I am looking for ( was thinking on splashing Ghost rider in a Shield affiliation ^^ the initative + shield mobile + highway to hell = bye bye hulk just think about Ghost rider in the car pulling hulk across the map laughing or human torch + a new age + the initative )
the Convo symbol is the eyes between Winter Guard and Dormammu - these are just the symbols they use on TTS because we didnt ever get official ones for each faction
Honest question: I don't care so much about the tournie scene but am I nuts for wanting to play the Sinister Six and the other bad guy teams? Will I just set myself up for disappointment playing that?
@@RichMidGaming thank you for the kind words. may I ask a recommendation for a Sinister six team? I'd like to use Goblin, Electro, sandman, shocker as the basis
@bulwyf2572 Honestly, most of the models in the Spider-Foes affiliation have been members of the Sinister Six or similar team at some point. Electro, Shocker, Rhino, Ock, Lizard, and Mysterio are all objectively strong models in the game and are in the Foes affiliation. You can make a pretty solid roster using those plus some splashes. I'm not a super competitive player, but I like Bullseye and Juggernaut as out of faction splashes. Juggernaut gives you a tank and beater who can do a ton of disruption and Bullseye is a cheap 2 threat who can consistently chip away at enemy models. Plus, both of them have tangled with Spider-Man in the comics.
Rapid Fire Sin can be a thing. I also like to play around with priority (using Sins back to back activations with Crossbones) - but outside of those, she is a bit of a struggle to say the least!
This was so helpful! I have played a few times and this helps plan which characters I may want going forward.
Came from 40k DA. I moved to this because I like quick games and painting single minis instead of squads
Sharp looking haircut, Rich.
Great vid for newer players to find where to start, and breakdown for oldheads.
Summer haircut time!
Looks good, my man!@@RichMidGaming
Spider-Foes! Popular characters they are not a top tier affiliation but can be quite competitive in the correct hands and with right models
Having played against Doc and and the new Fors I think they can take on anyone
My reasoning is a bit more simple...
X Men 97 Exists
Ok lemme make themed rosters for each episode!! 😂
Great video Dude!🎉

Sentinel master race, they can use "under your skin" for wacky builds.
A flying wolverine who can turn shields into wilds when attacking... :D

thoroughly enjoyed your video! Thank you! Looking forward to your next one on Crisis selection!

as always Rich, the deep dives are fantastic

Love this idea!
Thanks for the explanations, very helpful for new MCP players like me! 👍🏽
Just dipping the toes into the game, and I’m thinking…Criminal Syndicate, and eventually Defenders. I’m a sucker for the street level shenanigans.
Spider-Foes have significant overlap with Criminal Syndicate, so you might want to check them out too.
@@jackrogers5712 Yeah I’d been thinking that, but I’d been tempted to throw Sabretooth or Mystique in for laughs as well, mercenary as those two are.
Great Video! I Learned a lot again!
Spider-Foes, Web Warriors, Avengers and Black Order here 💪🏻 I'm working on X-Men, too!
Thank you for the videos they are awesome
Glad you like them!

In about 17 minutes in the icon between Hellfire Club and Hydra is the Convocation icon, not the Midnight Sons icon. Great video overall.
the Convo symbol is the eyes between Winter Guard and Dormammu - these are just the symbols they use on TTS because we didnt ever get official ones for each faction
Thank you and well done + Hydra is my pick
Just saw the video. Where do you think Asgardians sit in difficulty and Strategy?
Honest question: I don't care so much about the tournie scene but am I nuts for wanting to play the Sinister Six and the other bad guy teams? Will I just set myself up for disappointment playing that?
If you like playing the ‘bad guys’ (they are only ever bad from a certain point of view 🤣) then fire away - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

I would like to see a breakdown for Webwarriors because of their high needed Skill
I would love to see a Sin Cabal roster. How would you make that work?
Rapid Fire Sin can be a thing. I also like to play around with priority (using Sins back to back activations with Crossbones) - but outside of those, she is a bit of a struggle to say the least!
Did I miss Midnight Sons?
nope, they are in there. Mid level difficulty, mostly on the attrition side of things
@@RichMidGaming oh idk how I missed that. Ty!
