    You really should do this as a series: Sorastro’s Next Level. Something for intermediate level painters and creative ideas or just bringing in new ideas to old models. Might I suggest revisiting some of the old Zombicide: BP models? Love this!

      @@Sorastro I like the idea :) This could also work with alternate sculpts, like the ZBP Ultimate Survivors. They are basically the hero figures already painted on your channel, but still new figures.

    don't play MCP, but absolutely love this video, i'm of the same mind in leaving old paintjobs alone to show how i've grown as a mini painter, but this is a good reminder that sometimes if something really does bother you there's actually nothing wrong with breaking that self imposed rule. as for the paintjob itself, gotta say i'm blown away, i thought the original was great, but the amount of character and story you managed to get into it with these changes is amazing!

    this is truly fantastic my friend. on a jovial/juvenile note the caution tape, for me, is a powerful callback to the original
    "you have won a beauty contest" chance card in monopoly in which the ink-drawn character is wearing a sash and holding flowers.

I like the idea of taking a model painted up to a certain point (doesn't necessarily have to be a model that's already painted - you could paint up to the point of "tabletop standard" and then go beyond or something) and then introducing more storytelling aspects, more advanced techniques etc.. Anyway, lovely paintjob and great video. I like some of the Marvel models, but they're so expensive!

    I like that AMG changes their rules to keep older stuff relevant, but I am really worried that they're going to change some old starwars legion rules,
    I am worried that it's going to become something like warhammer with all those confusing edditions and forcing players to buy new rule sets.
    with that said, awsome work on that hazard tape, it really makes the model look like its interracting with the environment.

    • @Sorastro
      @Sorastro  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Mike! I was actually really encouraged by what I saw in the Legion presentations during the AMG Ministravaganza; it seems like they also want to ensure that the older Legion characters and models remain relevant, which is quite a contrast from the kind of business model that relies on power creep to entice consumers to buy the latest expansions etc. Time will tell I guess.. 😀

    Awesome results Sorastro! Odd question, you seem pretty cavalier with the glue you are putting on the hulk and on the base. Is that because you are confident it will dry clear and thin? With a matte finish? Or do you wick up some of the extra glue? Or do you go over after with matte varnish?

    • @Sorastro
      @Sorastro  3 роки тому

      Thanks mate! I wasn't too worried about the superglue on the base as it's covered in rubble etc anyway. And the PVA glue I just for the tape dries clear - although it's a little glossy, but that's what matte varnish is for.. 😄
