Both Tak and myself are really big fans of MCP. It has a pretty quick play time. Familiar characters, fun mechanics and just overall enganging and always so much fun to play

As someone who just picked up this game this past Christmas and has gone full into it, these videos are awesome to watch and understand the game more. Because of you guys I now have assembled a full X force squad!

TL;DR: some rules discrepancies. Great VIDEO! Hi, sorry, Cap doesn't change a blank, he changes anything "except skulls" into anything else IF the attacker has a hit in the attack roll. Red Skulls leadership states "non-grunt," so they do not get to trigger the leadership. Zemo's Strategic Genius does not allow rerolls on dodge rolls, only attack or defense rolls .
What a climax !! From ultron chucking buildings to captain marvel sacrificing herself to take out red skull and zemo was like straight out of a comic book! Would love to see some more battle reps in the future! Maybe even more narrative driven !

As I posted earlier, this was a fantastic video! Helpful suggestion, at beginning need to view a quick reference card and turn sequence. It’s my first time I’ve ever seen anything about the game and as it’s an introduction into one of the bass games what I would’ve loved is at least a quick look at the cheat sheet explaining the icons. I’m sure on the back of the instruction manual or an icon card that that you could’ve spent two seconds showing this as a reminder or for the first time (or beginners) what the icons means and turn order. I could’ve done a screenshot of that and then reference to it the whole video of what a starburst means versus three slashes, order of operations, etc. Again, fantastic video. Great descriptive game play and incredible miniatures.

great quality video as ever, one small note with the new characters is that Red Skull can spend others’ power for attacks or superpowers only, so it wouldn’t fund the tactics card.
This looks like a fun game, I really like the fact that you pretty much can always do something with your characters and that they can do absurdly heroic things. It’s a problem with hero games and hero characters that they just don’t seem… ott enough. This game does not suffer from that! But… either it has a lot of rules loopholes, and/or there was some really (un)lucky dice rolling. I’m not quite sure which because I don’t fully understand the mechanics and the rolls - and because they’re all icon based, I have no idea what was actually the problem when someone got a roll with loads of icons and declared it a bust. Which actually is a serious criticism. I don’t like games which use different icons on the same dice for outcomes on different rolls, it’s both confusing and it’s overall splitting your chances. If that’s what’s happening!
They most likely can be replaced by regular D8s. They are similar to how dice in Bloodbowl are. It's a way for company to get more money on their custom dice. It does allow for more interesting rules and adjustment of odds for certain actions.
So basically the icons are: Hit - Success only on attack rolls Shield - Success only on defense or dodge rolls Wild - Success Crit - Success + Roll an extra die (extra die rolls never add any extra dice) Blank - Nothing Skull - Nothing, but you also can't use most special abilities to reroll or adjust it Usually attacks will have additional effects, triggers if you roll wild or some other icon combinations. It's to manage probability how often an attack can be extra explosive.
Love seeing MCP on the channel! I just picked up the new core set and it's really great. I think MCP really fits the Channel and would love to see you guys play more skirmish in general. Play on!

The developers behind this are some of the coolest game designers. Will Pagani and Will Schitt are clever fellas and it’s too bad Matt Wilson snubbed MC forcing them to leave the privateer press studio to form atomic games. Also many of the models are modelled by the awesome Doug Hamilton.
BTW, I think MCP is ALMOST the same scale as my old childhood Puzzletown playsets, so I have a lot of modular terrain ready to go. With mutlilevel buildings.
Hey very cool BatRep. Red Skull couldn’t use a dazed model to use power of because dazed models can’t be affected by superpowers. And he definitely can’t spend that power on a Tactic Card. Only Attacks and Superpowers And the attack sequence is very important in MCP. For example Steve must spend the 2 Power when he is attacked but before attack dice are rolled. So you can’t see the attack result beforehand. Incinerated doesn’t effect doge rolls. Only Defence rolls. And didn’t you count wilds in the Dodge rolls ? Iron man would have blocked one DMG from the building and had 4 Health left. So he would have lived with one health. Plus he can reduce one DMG by sending one power. The two triggers for example on Carol are and not or. Zemo would have taken the explosive and than would be thrown.
Thanks for paying attention to all of this! I would say some of this is due to editing. Some of the above was done properly but due to fast editing on the dice rolls or where the commentating came in it may look like an error. Though, that doesn't help new viewers so we will pay more attention to that in the future. We did play the Red Skull use of power incorrectly and we did play two triggers on Carol while it sounds like we did an "or" it was an "and". Though, my understanding is we did the second Warbird incorrectly. Would love to play more to get this right more.
No superpowers except for a variation of the Infinity Formula, which means her aging is basically stopped. This may or may no longer apply in the comics as she was brought back to life through cloning and mental implantation similar to what the X-men in Krakoa did Which means something like 60 ish years of experience at better than average athletic statline

I find this a really enjoyable skrimish level game. Each character feels unique and you can do a lot with them with smart play and power management.
