Thanos leadership should have made stone powers free for everyone not just him. It would save corvus

Fun game. I feel like Ghost Rider could have used the wickets judgement more, there were some periods where you rolled some big skulls! Good to see some less loved characters on the field!!!

If yo need to consider taking Thor 2 over Thor 1 or another character then it’s a big win, he was auto take before which is never good so at least it makes you think now, he’s still good

My friends where discussing yhe thor changes and 100 percent agree with you on either the damage being 7 duce or range being 3. We also thought pounce could of been left alone. I played the spider thanos list a little sad to see him go but it is what it is.

Peerless is scary to me. I love making a fantasy dream team, which i thought was the core concept of the game, and stopping that with the big boys feels bad.

In regards to AMG playtesting. I don't have much trust in their ability to playtest models on threat 6+. And in a few cases on lower threat models. But mostly on the higher threat models.

Agreed on the harsh nerfing on Thors builder. This nerf seems like a knee jerk reaction to the complains by the minority community. Being such a newly released hero, it begs the question of the quality of QC and play testing of AMG. Utter rubbish!

We have had discussions about this nerf bat. Jane or Thor 1 are better for a threat less. Any push or character throw will make him obsolete Lockjaw/loki/heimdall/ rainbow bridge NEED to be taken to make him get involved! Also killing Kaijus and leaving X-men, wakanda and webs alone is clapped.

Hellfire club look like turds. They should have been allowed all mutants. Thors's builder is weaker that Abombs, but I guess it has the other effects.

AMG went too far with Malekith. Having watched a lot of battle reports online I haven't seen him in a very long time outside of fun games. He is a 7 threat that now feels like a 5 threat. He was very much on the line between a 6 or 7 anyway. Thors biggest issue is his mobility and the range 2 change really hits him in his action economy. He is a 6 threat! He should be a massive thing on the table.

They did too much to Thor. I agree, they should have just gone with the six dice attack which would nurf the splash damage as well. And rather then increase the power cost of his power to 4, they should have lowered the number of his slap back to 5.

To my casual mind and circle, these are all good changes. We were avoiding most of those things as they were seen as too strong, can't say we proved it on our side. That Hellfire roster seems bad...but If I have reasons to paint Omega Red and Sinister...I'm happy!

IMO, when a model is the best piece in the game, there is no such thing as nerfing it too much.

I just saw the nerf to Thor hero of midgard. I'm dissapointed they set the membership of Hellfire club. I liked it as a open club

The hellfire club list is just horrible. No cyclops? It's his gf running the bloody club! No Jean?????¿¿¿ it's kinda a big thing that she is IN the club. I imagine lady mastermind will be in it....right?

I think nerfing the gem without buffing Corvus leadership makes Corvus BO, which was already weak, borderline unplayable.

I think Thanos is where he should be now with leadership and gem fixed. Thor's builder having range nerfed was good but I would have been fine with 7 str. Why did BiA get canned??? Yaaaaay reality gem got nerfed! Now to bring all the others in line with it. H.C. sad day, but better than it ruining the game for the rest of the other affiliations.

I’m honestly at a point where I wouldn’t mind them deleting gems entirely and for certain characters, just giving them an ability flavored like a related gem.

I am expecting some glow ups at adepticon for a lot the new Hellfire club crew (omega red, shadow king and sinister), also I am guessing pheonix and exodus will be part of hellfire club

The hellfire club change was actually something I was gonna ask about for say a skrulls affiliation and that we would get a group of skrull characters well known names characters and then you can take a few other characters as if they were skrulls in disguise but you would have to have the affiliation requirement of 51% being skrulls affiliation characters to count as affiliated and give the affiliation to say black cat, toad, ghost spider does that sound like a more or less fair “take anyone” affiliation? In the case of Dracula maybe you give him a few bat characters maybe some comic accurate bitten characters somehow. I feel like something like that would keep them fair and not just literally take any character and make them affiliated.

I think the Thanos changes make a lot of sense. I think you can still splash him in a few places, but you might need to think about taking one of the power gaining gems now which is cool. I agree with you takes on Thor 2. He is underwhelming now and thor 1 does a lot of the same stuff for a threat less.

Honestly I have no idea what you are talking about in regards to his builder not feeling like a cost 6 builder for Thor 2. If you look at all the cost 6 models, all of them outside the Hulks and Apoc are str 6. The big thing with Thor over the others is because of his Pounce he has such extreme mobility and everything on his card is so highly tuned. I think even with the 2 minor nerfs he received, he is still one of the best 6s in the game. Still have 4 attacks a turn, still has the best retaliation ability in the game to go with one of the highest health pools in the game.

They should've nerfed webs too lol.

Hellfire affiliation is ruff but I don't think it is that bad. I prob just bring emma psylocke and archangel then splash anyone like gladiator or namor

Off the top of my head, Kitty and Bishop should both be in hellfire. Does seem overly harsh on hellfire.

Reserve sound like the ability on the back of Hulkbuster so my guess is that reserve is for characters like Phoenix and her flip side Phoenix Unleashed.

the Thanos change was a welcome surprise, consolidating his power to the black order is a nice thematic balance IMO. I don't think Thor2's changes are THAT bad, he can still hit like a truck in the thick of a fight but now he can't hit someone across the board in a single activation or turn 1 in certain affiliations. The most important thing you said of the changes are that it puts Thor1 back into the conversation, and I think that's just good balance.

With Thanos almost only playable in BO I dunno if BO is really any better. The control that Thanos had was already borderline a must for them. We will see. the new Thor probably will make the same end of Malekith, on the shelf I believe
