They heard some of our complaints. An addressed them. My reason for quitting the game they addressed. That still does not give me my Sigqweene. I still have every lighting, all by 1 pyro no 5 star frost except QiQi i don't have Tinari then id have ever Dendro. But the only thing i have for water are 3 characters. Xingling Barbara and Nurverlette. So no water combs. An yes i tried thousands of times to get Mona i still don't have her. So they are offering me a free Mona this time. That would be great. But in order to get it i have to accept they white washed my peoples culture...... No thanks.

I just want to be able to select 2 builds and attach it to a character with weapon included. Like “EM Raiden” with Dragon’s Bane. Or “DPS Raiden” with Engulfing Lightning
Right now the best way to do this is to give these selected artifacts so a character you don't use, so when you want to switch all you have to do is exchange what the two are using
I play HSR, I like that their artifact selector exists but this one sounds WAY better. The difference is... How much of the special Item will you be getting... In HSR it's from events like crowns in genshin, it's from free and paid BP, it's from special currency when clearing endgame content. It doesn't come around often but there's multiple ways to get it. If genshin will make it more rare than that, like, 1 f2p per version and a second from having premuim BP... would be sad. Still a good addition.
I think seeing as it gives two subs as well as a mainstat one per patch is kinda justified. Star Rail gives 3 free per patch and it’s just one mainstat
It's probably going to be received through events/battle passes and the Natlan sigil tree or whatever it'll be. They're probably adding this because of Imaginarium theatre requiring more horizontal character investment, which would take a super long time for new players
@@I.disagree I guess when you have artifact crafting you can spend less resin on artifact domains and more on bosses and other level up materials. By itself though, I’d say artifact selector helps with horizontal investment as well. It’s a cool feature overall, useful even if limited.

I think I will still dislike IT despite these changes. Its core of having so randomized characters is just so distasteful to me. I hate playing with stupid teams. For me, it would be better for them just to make it like the current Energy Amplifier event. The more characters you put, the more the charges you get. The more charges you get, the more buffs you get. Its more fun and you can choose your party by yourself since the beginning. We also still lack roguelike game mode, while hsr and zzz have them since launch

that's kinda the point of IT. Spiral abyss tests your team damage while IT tests your team building knowledge with limited resources in mind. IT required different kind of investment to differ from the already existing game mode. Many people also don't like Spiral Abyss because how they are more like a time investment rather than skill and knowledge. That's valid, and people also could prefer one or another.

It's not only thanks to Wuthering Waves. Mihoyo wants to continue dominating the whole market with their different games. Of course, the competition raised these last months with wuwa but other games that they should consider seriously are coming. Like Azur Promilia and Neverness to Everness.
@@lucklei4665the resin increase news was dropped on wuthering waves launch. Newer characters have an intro animation. This thing was in honkai too but they never bothered to add it here until wuwa released. So yeah they gave atleast 2shits
What I want to see is them splitting the pair of artifacts we get in a domain, and running them on alternate days of the week, with the ability to pick one on Sundays, just like with talent book domains. That alone would shave enough RNG off artifact farming that it wouldn't be such a blight on the game (speaking as someone who spent a load of fragile yesterday trying for Vourukasha's, only for 4 5ths of the rewards to be Nymph's) I'd also like to see a way to convert trash artifacts to sanctifying essence/unction, preferably right on the reward screen of the domain, maybe with the UI using drag up = lock, drag down = convert. And adding a toggle to automatically convert all the purple/blue/green/whites at the point we get them, would really speed up micromanaging artifacts. As for the artifact selector, I'll believe it's an improvement when I see it isn't just another whale milking attempt, that needs something like resin to use.

Talent books and the like (weekly bosses, weapons) changed to one type per region would be good as the rotation does suck. But 50% of artifacts being the wrong set sucks as well. Should be able to farm for just 1. And 5 star artifacts should always start with 4 substats at level 0.
Nah, I don't want alternate day artifact farming, I would just have to wait longer to the artifacts I want. Instead after doing the domain just give us the option to choose which artifacts you want between the two and then you get 1 or 2 random artifacts. I would like the ability to convert artifacts into exp potions though.
ive been saying this, give a boost to certain mainstats on certain days, makes it easier to manage resin that way instead of blindy burning it hoping for a desirable mainstat on the right set, that too with good substats
Well they /could/ just give us one (5-star) artifact set per domain, there are already a bunch of domains on the map that serve no purpose after the first clear. The thing is they'd have to put enemies in them, give them ley line disorders, and add UI stuff, so just swapping artifact sets to alternating days would be less work, and something easier to convince Mihoyo to do. And what's so bad about waiting a day, if it means you don't have to do domains on 3 days of the week, because on those days you just convert resin for the next? And then when you /do/ do them, you're twice as likely to get something in return for your effort, instead of having your time spent in domains wasted? And you're NOT waiting longer to get the artifacts you want. You're using the same amount of resin in a week to do the same number of domains, and get the same amount of rewards, but half of them are no longer the ones you don't want, so on average, you're getting the ones you /do/ want in half the time.
I know people will make fun of Genshin for having late additions to the game, but never forget HSR took until 2.1 to add a claim all expedition button, ONE SIMPLE BUTTON. Hsr of all games by the way. Not saying i'm ungrateful for it i'm always happy for qol no matter how long it takes I'm just saying it's really a Hoyo thing. Edit: I want to point out my comment isn't raising one game higher on a pedestal and convincing to put the other lower on a pedestal, I'm really just trying to be fair and believe both games should be criticised when it's deserved and credit should be given when it's deserved too.

they should also add an auto collect for domains you've cleared in under a certain time. but overall I'm super happy about these changes, it's definitely a step in the right direction. not enough to pull me back in right away but I'm now considering it. also world bosses really should start dropping more stuff, I get so tired of having to fight them over and over 5-6 I feel would be better.
1) Artifact crafting: It's Genshin devs, so be prepared for most greedy/stingy way for it to be implemented. And people will gobble it up and praise hoyo as usual, cause "better than nothing". While there are a lot of artifact changes we DO need, like gold ones drop with all 4sub stats unlocked to not waste our time rolling for 4th. Or function to lock 1 sub stat and make it non upgradable. Or rerolling main stat, cause how many double crit pieces we have with main DEF/HP? 2)Showing circle on map for resources: just add interactive map FFS, stop being greedy for website traffic hoyo. 3)Map pins: Oh wow +50 pins LOL. Just make it 1000 pins and better yet, make a filter to show only specific type on map, so we can filter between ores, materials, animals, etc. without cluttering the map. 4)Increasing stamina for new players: Well it was a shitty system anyways and hoyo finally understood how bad it was designed. But how about not spending stamina outside of fighting hmm hoyo? WuWa made it best. 5)More cards: useless, if you are not hoyoyshill 6)Teapot limit load: JUST MAKE IT X5 MORE AT LEAST. How much they raised it anyway? For a few more chairs? 7)WL9: Finally, but do we get leyline and domains upgrade too? And what about world bosses and their weapon billet drop chance? 8)Abyss: Nice, less time spent on this boring endgame. 9)Imaginarium: Well the change is good, but hope hoyo not gonna screw it like with bloated abyss. The bigger problem with it are rewards, they are bad cause the ultimate reward is cheap particle effect and photo pose...

I'm hyped for the ability to directly salvage artifacts into xp potions or (relic remains), not even so much for the selectable artifact as much as the ability to junk most recently obtained. Currently it is super annoying to strongbox because artifacts aren't marked as new in the strongbox screen, nor is there a way to sort by recently obtained. So you either have to manually scroll through every single artifact trying to find the junk, or sort your inventory to find the new ones and memorize before going into strongbox to junk them. Whereas with Star Rail you can mark as junk upon obtaining, then salvage inventory and sort by recently obtained and everything you want to junk will be sorted to the top.
something ive started to do, which helps a little, is mark every single artifact you want to keep as locked. it takes some time for the first blow of getting all of them, but when you farm its much easier. i find it rlly helpful, however i do hope for some other way to be able to tell
@@rosielundberg Yeah, I tried to do it that way for a while. It was a hassle both ways (locking all potentials, then having to go back and manually unlock when they brick). More importantly, since locked artifacts are hidden when in the upgrade screen, it makes it more difficult to compare at a glance what is safe to fodder relative to backup copium pieces you still have, or which pieces that just failed a roll still have potential to be better than existing vs. dead upgrade path even if all remaining rolls hit, etc.
It’s not one currency. In star rail you have the rare currency only given by version events that allows you to pick the main stat and then the lesser currency from dismantling artifacts that allows to to pick an artifact to roll. In star rail in order to pick a main stat you need 1 rare and 100 lesser currency. You get 10 for destroying one gold artifact
While I do appreciate the QoL for the artifact crafting, I hate how they keep the strongbox at lagging behind by 2 regions especially when quite often, the newer characters are catered to the newer artifacts. If there absolutely has to be a lag, then at least have it be a version update lag rather than 2 years. It’s especially jarring considering that Star Rail allows us to craft relics once they release
i think any genshin player at AR 55 or higher probably has way too much weapon exp and not nearly enough artifact exp. any high AR player knows that grinding artifacts sucks and everyone is probably grinding for an elemental damage goblet from a certain set so the hsr style system is so good especially for late game players
I want that Artifact Selector. I really hate artifact grinding enough to not make me interested in metagames (abyss F12) and just go very casual. I save up a hundred Fragile Resins one day hoping to burn all of them when a more convenient artifact system is implemented. Please let this be the system I'm waiting for.
Finally going to be able to strongbox Gilded and Deepwood (I dont hate the domain itself, but it's RNG feels hateful). The local specialty update will make it so much easier to level the characters I haven't prepped for (Kazuha). WL9 about to cook me tho (tho the boss mat jump is amazing). Imaginarium is about to be much less hell, so I might have a chance to save mora and books for once (I had so much before Imaginarium Theatre).
This is like a race that genshin is losing badly but they are just now trying to run. A farcry from what they need to do to win it but at least they tryin now

More HP tier being added into Imaginarium Theater? I don't want the enemies to be more tanky than the Abyss F12. I want the enemies to attack harder, so combat may be a bit more attentive. Giving us a reason to consider choosing defensive blessings. More AI aggressiveness is needed.
I’m sorry to derail this comment section for a bit, but I’m glad that so much of the general reaction to muhoyo making these changes is a sigh of relief or like genuine happiness rather than the toxic mess it has been on social media by and large. It’s just so refreshing tbh
this is the best changes that genshin has ever made (maybe I missed out some). This literally makes the game seem star rail level and very much good again
I'm gona use the artifact selector for my arlecchino Gladiator pyro goblet with cr cd substat would be enough for me. Although it never cr cd while upgrading then also no issues.
Still no 240 resin with 6 min per 1 resin with a resin reserve system (like hsr) even wuwa, zenless or hsr have at least the 240 resin.... Hsr having the better resin system of them all.... So yeah...its still not here for genshin after 4 years almost 5...Sadge..... Still good Qol but it would have been perfect with that.
Thing to keep in mind with WuWa is all the crap that costs 60, a full 25% of daily energy. But really, the numbers do not matter. If genshin doubled daily resin and also resin costs and how much fragile resin and the like give, nothing will have changed, but hey, now 360 per day, HSR and WuWa must suck, right? That said, a 6 min per resin recharge does make things easier to calculate.
Uhm genshin's resin cap of 200 is like 26hr now, a pretty decent overhang tbh. WuWa's 240 are exact 24hr, soo if you only login once after reset to dump, you actually run risk of wasting if you can't keep your schedule. WuWa will get waveplate storage, but it's at 1/2 efficiency. Still, losing 50% less than before, but I actually think Genshin did a great job with that 200 resin cap being slightly over a full day. And then yea, costs for activities are completely different anyway, so why the comparison here?
@@Axterix13 hsr have one of the most incredible resin system : they have a resin reserve system for when its overcaping. And wuwa dev comfirmed that they are gonna add that too. So no it doesn't suck. My BROOO
I'm not sure how I feel about the artifact selector if you can't craft the new sets. Since furina came out, I started to care significantly less about elemental goblets. I'll honestly probably just use it for EM main stat pieces.

My luck is so bad it’s like a 1% to get the set I want 1%for the set piece I want 1% for the main stat 1% for the sub stats I want and then even less for the right substat that I want to level up IT IS SOO BULLSHIT I only have one character with somewhat good artifacts
Is it so hard to add an artifact selector with the mains that we're looking for? It's really stpid to farm domains for almost a year for a certain artifact but 90% of the time, it's the other artifact in that domain you don't care about that drops, and the other 10% artifact that you do want, the main stats are those you do want. When I want HP, DEF stat drops, and when I want DEF, ATK drops ffs! HSR's system of being able to craft your own relic with the main stat you need are light years ahead of Genshin.

About the artifact selector, this is genshin we are talking about, so don't get surprised when they say you need to be a chinese citizen + 10 yrs of military service to get that material 😂. They really know how to mess up things in genshin, so I'll keep my hope - 50
I don't understand why people say that Genshin doesn't have QoL Updates when the game has QoL Updates every Patch since launch, but everyone acts as if the game has spent the last 4 years without receiving anything.
It's because they didn't care to add much of these QoL updates way soon since they really didn't have any competition, many of these QoL changes could had been added a long time ago with not that much effort but they decided to hold on these until they saw a moment to add them while making the player base live without QoL, this is not to say they never added QoL but they started to add these much needed QoL changes after Wuwa and zzz came out

Some good changes, but the timing is bad. It only took... 4 years, in order to get simple QoL, and still no 240 resin, which is the standard number on WuWa and ZZZ. Looking forward for 5.1 and 5.2 , both Story and gameplay changes.
200 resin cap in Genshin is superior to 240 in HSR and WuWa. This is because Genshin gives you more than a day's worth of resin, while the other two only give you one day's worth. And before you type stuff about upping resin regen rate, what you can accomplish with a day's worth of resin is what actually matters.
Everything in WuWa costs either 40 or 60, vs Genshin's 20/40. In reality, WuWa allows for four runs in Echo domains per day, while Genshin gives you ten (or five if you condense them for double rewards).
3:21 Sounds like you get two 'tokens' per patch and you need additional 'artifact change currency' which you gain from destroying artifacts? And the more currency the more you can change? At least this is what I get from your shown screenshots. 9:14 Yes, the Spiral Abyss needs a minimum investment in characters too to access the higher floors, it is an endgame content after all.

I get it that Genshin already have many QoL & major updates in the past...But within those 4 years, nothing this Big Changes have happened, these consecutive major changes to QoL & Endgames are just happening right now...especially the World Lvl 9, the Imaginarium, the Artifact Selector, & the Teapot Load Limit Increases. These were influenced by major competitors like WuWa, HSR, & ZZZ, so you can't say that those games didn't affect Genshin at all. Of course they did, especially that Genshin is not the only one high quality gacha game anymore like it used to. Especially that this coming months up to next year...Multiple High Quality Ga cha Games will also release, that will give more competition to Genshin, so they need to do more to maintain their playerbase.
How convenient that these updates came after WuWa dropped on the market. These devs broke my faith a long time ago. Sure, I'll enjoy the newer updates but never in my life will I give this game a positive recommendation to anyone I know.

@@harfi212 Unplayable on mobile, but killing it on PC and likely console soon, as is the nature of Unreal Engine. That's still a good portion of Genshin's playerbase. WuWa aside, there's a lot of new open-world gachas being announced. Competition is about to get tight vs 2 years ago when it was just Genshin and a sad attempt from ToF.

If anyone thinks that these changes because of Wuthering Waves: Just keep on dreaming, it's just sad for all of you continuing believing this. If anyone thinks that these changes because of all new upcoming games like NTE or Azur Promilia: Why should Hoyo cared about games that still need years in advance to released or not? If they care about it they'll only make the changes after those games are released. If anyone thinks that these changes because of HSR or the recent released of ZZZ: Good, you right on the money. Hoyo knew only their games can match their quality. Hoyo knew Genshin needs to step up so that all their 3 games will match up with the same quality. But if you still wishes for free 10 pull every patches, it's not gonna happen only because the development cost of Genshin still far surpasses their other games, also the output of characters releases is much lower than their other games.
If all this is true then i am happy, honestly all the QoL i want at this point is the ability to turn fodder artis in arti XP potions so my 1800 inventory limit isn't maxxed all the time and a goddamn SKIP button. Everyone who is against the skip button is arguably an idiot and that's a fact 😂😂😂
If you've been playing for years, those pink crystals will naturally build up. Before they raised the 9999 cap, I was constantly deleting them because they blocked other rewards. Early game it seems like you need to religiously farm ore because you still need to raise all your weapons, and you are limited per day on refining into the crystals. But as your account matures, your weapons are all done and even without manually farming, your passive incoming crystals from BP, events, dailies, etc. will overtake your usage.
All this should've been in the game 2 years ago, before it's reputation tanked as much as it did... Looks like finally getting some real competition (not just with WuWa, but so many other open-world gachas being announced) pushed them to start trying again. Is it too late? We'll see...

Took them long enough lol. Finally I can focus more on levelling characters instead of stuck in the same artifact domain for months.

I play HSR, I like that their artifact selector exists but this one sounds WAY better. The difference is... How much of the special Item will you be getting... In HSR it's from events like crowns in genshin, it's from free and paid BP, it's from special currency when clearing endgame content. It doesn't come around often but there's multiple ways to get it. If genshin will make it more rare than that, like, 1 f2p per version and a second from having premuim BP... would be sad. Still a good addition.

It's probably going to be received through events/battle passes and the Natlan sigil tree or whatever it'll be. They're probably adding this because of Imaginarium theatre requiring more horizontal character investment, which would take a super long time for new players
@@I.disagree I guess when you have artifact crafting you can spend less resin on artifact domains and more on bosses and other level up materials. By itself though, I’d say artifact selector helps with horizontal investment as well. It’s a cool feature overall, useful even if limited.

I think I will still dislike IT despite these changes. Its core of having so randomized characters is just so distasteful to me. I hate playing with stupid teams. For me, it would be better for them just to make it like the current Energy Amplifier event.
The more characters you put, the more the charges you get. The more charges you get, the more buffs you get. Its more fun and you can choose your party by yourself since the beginning.
We also still lack roguelike game mode, while hsr and zzz have them since launch

that's kinda the point of IT. Spiral abyss tests your team damage while IT tests your team building knowledge with limited resources in mind. IT required different kind of investment to differ from the already existing game mode. Many people also don't like Spiral Abyss because how they are more like a time investment rather than skill and knowledge. That's valid, and people also could prefer one or another.
Praise Wuthering Waves for making Genshin actually do better.

What I want to see is them splitting the pair of artifacts we get in a domain, and running them on alternate days of the week, with the ability to pick one on Sundays, just like with talent book domains. That alone would shave enough RNG off artifact farming that it wouldn't be such a blight on the game (speaking as someone who spent a load of fragile yesterday trying for Vourukasha's, only for 4 5ths of the rewards to be Nymph's)
I'd also like to see a way to convert trash artifacts to sanctifying essence/unction, preferably right on the reward screen of the domain, maybe with the UI using drag up = lock, drag down = convert. And adding a toggle to automatically convert all the purple/blue/green/whites at the point we get them, would really speed up micromanaging artifacts.
As for the artifact selector, I'll believe it's an improvement when I see it isn't just another whale milking attempt, that needs something like resin to use.

Talent books and the like (weekly bosses, weapons) changed to one type per region would be good as the rotation does suck. But 50% of artifacts being the wrong set sucks as well. Should be able to farm for just 1. And 5 star artifacts should always start with 4 substats at level 0.
Nah, I don't want alternate day artifact farming, I would just have to wait longer to the artifacts I want. Instead after doing the domain just give us the option to choose which artifacts you want between the two and then you get 1 or 2 random artifacts.

Well they /could/ just give us one (5-star) artifact set per domain, there are already a bunch of domains on the map that serve no purpose after the first clear. The thing is they'd have to put enemies in them, give them ley line disorders, and add UI stuff, so just swapping artifact sets to alternating days would be less work, and something easier to convince Mihoyo to do.
And what's so bad about waiting a day, if it means you don't have to do domains on 3 days of the week, because on those days you just convert resin for the next? And then when you /do/ do them, you're twice as likely to get something in return for your effort, instead of having your time spent in domains wasted?
And you're NOT waiting longer to get the artifacts you want. You're using the same amount of resin in a week to do the same number of domains, and get the same amount of rewards, but half of them are no longer the ones you don't want, so on average, you're getting the ones you /do/ want in half the time.
I know people will make fun of Genshin for having late additions to the game, but never forget HSR took until 2.1 to add a claim all expedition button, ONE SIMPLE BUTTON. Hsr of all games by the way. Not saying i'm ungrateful for it i'm always happy for qol no matter how long it takes I'm just saying it's really a Hoyo thing.
Edit: I want to point out my comment isn't raising one game higher on a pedestal and convincing to put the other lower on a pedestal, I'm really just trying to be fair and believe both games should be criticised when it's deserved and credit should be given when it's deserved too.

1) Artifact crafting: It's Genshin devs, so be prepared for most greedy/stingy way for it to be implemented. And people will gobble it up and praise hoyo as usual, cause "better than nothing". While there are a lot of artifact changes we DO need, like gold ones drop with all 4sub stats unlocked to not waste our time rolling for 4th. Or function to lock 1 sub stat and make it non upgradable. Or rerolling main stat, cause how many double crit pieces we have with main DEF/HP?
2)Showing circle on map for resources: just add interactive map FFS, stop being greedy for website traffic hoyo.
3)Map pins: Oh wow +50 pins LOL. Just make it 1000 pins and better yet, make a filter to show only specific type on map, so we can filter between ores, materials, animals, etc. without cluttering the map.
4)Increasing stamina for new players: Well it was a shitty system anyways and hoyo finally understood how bad it was designed. But how about not spending stamina outside of fighting hmm hoyo? WuWa made it best.
5)More cards: useless, if you are not hoyoyshill
6)Teapot limit load: JUST MAKE IT X5 MORE AT LEAST. How much they raised it anyway? For a few more chairs?

I'm hyped for the ability to directly salvage artifacts into xp potions or (relic remains), not even so much for the selectable artifact as much as the ability to junk most recently obtained.
Currently it is super annoying to strongbox because artifacts aren't marked as new in the strongbox screen, nor is there a way to sort by recently obtained.
So you either have to manually scroll through every single artifact trying to find the junk, or sort your inventory to find the new ones and memorize before going into strongbox to junk them.
Whereas with Star Rail you can mark as junk upon obtaining, then salvage inventory and sort by recently obtained and everything you want to junk will be sorted to the top.
something ive started to do, which helps a little, is mark every single artifact you want to keep as locked. it takes some time for the first blow of getting all of them, but when you farm its much easier. i find it rlly helpful, however i do hope for some other way to be able to tell
@@rosielundberg Yeah, I tried to do it that way for a while. It was a hassle both ways (locking all potentials, then having to go back and manually unlock when they brick).
More importantly, since locked artifacts are hidden when in the upgrade screen, it makes it more difficult to compare at a glance what is safe to fodder relative to backup copium pieces you still have, or which pieces that just failed a roll still have potential to be better than existing vs. dead upgrade path even if all remaining rolls hit, etc.
It’s not one currency. In star rail you have the rare currency only given by version events that allows you to pick the main stat and then the lesser currency from dismantling artifacts that allows to to pick an artifact to roll. In star rail in order to pick a main stat you need 1 rare and 100 lesser currency. You get 10 for destroying one gold artifact
While I do appreciate the QoL for the artifact crafting, I hate how they keep the strongbox at lagging behind by 2 regions especially when quite often, the newer characters are catered to the newer artifacts. If there absolutely has to be a lag, then at least have it be a version update lag rather than 2 years. It’s especially jarring considering that Star Rail allows us to craft relics once they release

i think any genshin player at AR 55 or higher probably has way too much weapon exp and not nearly enough artifact exp. any high AR player knows that grinding artifacts sucks and everyone is probably grinding for an elemental damage goblet from a certain set so the hsr style system is so good especially for late game players

More HP tier being added into Imaginarium Theater? I don't want the enemies to be more tanky than the Abyss F12. I want the enemies to attack harder, so combat may be a bit more attentive. Giving us a reason to consider choosing defensive blessings. More AI aggressiveness is needed.

Still good Qol but it would have been perfect with that.
Thing to keep in mind with WuWa is all the crap that costs 60, a full 25% of daily energy. But really, the numbers do not matter. If genshin doubled daily resin and also resin costs and how much fragile resin and the like give, nothing will have changed, but hey, now 360 per day, HSR and WuWa must suck, right?
That said, a 6 min per resin recharge does make things easier to calculate.
Uhm genshin's resin cap of 200 is like 26hr now, a pretty decent overhang tbh. WuWa's 240 are exact 24hr, soo if you only login once after reset to dump, you actually run risk of wasting if you can't keep your schedule. WuWa will get waveplate storage, but it's at 1/2 efficiency. Still, losing 50% less than before, but I actually think Genshin did a great job with that 200 resin cap being slightly over a full day. And then yea, costs for activities are completely different anyway, so why the comparison here?
If they make it 6 min per 1 resin, I'll go back to overcapping again. No thanks.

Is it so hard to add an artifact selector with the mains that we're looking for? It's really stpid to farm domains for almost a year for a certain artifact but 90% of the time, it's the other artifact in that domain you don't care about that drops, and the other 10% artifact that you do want, the main stats are those you do want. When I want HP, DEF stat drops, and when I want DEF, ATK drops ffs!
HSR's system of being able to craft your own relic with the main stat you need are light years ahead of Genshin.

I don't understand why people say that Genshin doesn't have QoL Updates when the game has QoL Updates every Patch since launch, but everyone acts as if the game has spent the last 4 years without receiving anything.
It's because they didn't care to add much of these QoL updates way soon since they really didn't have any competition, many of these QoL changes could had been added a long time ago with not that much effort but they decided to hold on these until they saw a moment to add them while making the player base live without QoL, this is not to say they never added QoL but they started to add these much needed QoL changes after Wuwa and zzz came out

Some good changes, but the timing is bad. It only took... 4 years, in order to get simple QoL, and still no 240 resin, which is the standard number on WuWa and ZZZ. Looking forward for 5.1 and 5.2 , both Story and gameplay changes.
200 resin cap in Genshin is superior to 240 in HSR and WuWa. This is because Genshin gives you more than a day's worth of resin, while the other two only give you one day's worth.
And before you type stuff about upping resin regen rate, what you can accomplish with a day's worth of resin is what actually matters.
Everything in WuWa costs either 40 or 60, vs Genshin's 20/40. In reality, WuWa allows for four runs in Echo domains per day, while Genshin gives you ten (or five if you condense them for double rewards).

I get it that Genshin already have many QoL & major updates in the past...But within those 4 years, nothing this Big Changes have happened, these consecutive major changes to QoL & Endgames are just happening right now...especially the World Lvl 9, the Imaginarium, the Artifact Selector, & the Teapot Load Limit Increases. These were influenced by major competitors like WuWa, HSR, & ZZZ, so you can't say that those games didn't affect Genshin at all.
Of course they did, especially that Genshin is not the only one high quality gacha game anymore like it used to. Especially that this coming months up to next year...Multiple High Quality Ga cha Games will also release, that will give more competition to Genshin, so they need to do more to maintain their playerbase.

@@harfi212 Unplayable on mobile, but killing it on PC and likely console soon, as is the nature of Unreal Engine. That's still a good portion of Genshin's playerbase. WuWa aside, there's a lot of new open-world gachas being announced. Competition is about to get tight vs 2 years ago when it was just Genshin and a sad attempt from ToF.

If anyone thinks that these changes because of Wuthering Waves: Just keep on dreaming, it's just sad for all of you continuing believing this.
If anyone thinks that these changes because of all new upcoming games like NTE or Azur Promilia: Why should Hoyo cared about games that still need years in advance to released or not? If they care about it they'll only make the changes after those games are released.
If anyone thinks that these changes because of HSR or the recent released of ZZZ: Good, you right on the money. Hoyo knew only their games can match their quality. Hoyo knew Genshin needs to step up so that all their 3 games will match up with the same quality. But if you still wishes for free 10 pull every patches, it's not gonna happen only because the development cost of Genshin still far surpasses their other games, also the output of characters releases is much lower than their other games.

If you've been playing for years, those pink crystals will naturally build up. Before they raised the 9999 cap, I was constantly deleting them because they blocked other rewards.
Early game it seems like you need to religiously farm ore because you still need to raise all your weapons, and you are limited per day on refining into the crystals.
But as your account matures, your weapons are all done and even without manually farming, your passive incoming crystals from BP, events, dailies, etc. will overtake your usage.
Sigh 😞 and i have 135 I can't even level up a weapon to 90

All this should've been in the game 2 years ago, before it's reputation tanked as much as it did... Looks like finally getting some real competition (not just with WuWa, but so many other open-world gachas being announced) pushed them to start trying again. Is it too late? We'll see...
