Hey id love a video on retainer clients. Appreciate all that you do!
"hiring someone on retainer" When they need you, you are contractually obligated to go and do, whatever you had set up. Same with getting paid. Most times I would set up the monthly payment, which helps as its a consistent income.
Your client now has a " video guy" and can use you, the good kin of "using" hahaha Hope this helped. Davy

Question for a potential topic: I have video skillzzz I want to use my skills to benefit other businesses. How do you go about cold calling in an authentic way? So I want to reach out to this small shop for a promo video...do I just walk into the shop and let them know who I am and what I do? Is this "Cold calling" even going to get me anywhere? Bigger picture question here is how do you get clients? How do I introduce myself to potential clients? email seems too informal and spammy. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I think it depends on who are you sendind the email. In my case, I go personally to a business, ask for owners contact information. Then, i send vía WhatsApp 2 or 3 reels of my work and tell the business owner that these type of content can grow its marketing business (I specify that i don't do marketing, just video). For me, it works 2 out of 15 businesses.
