Coolest tech gadget I have seen reviewed yet. Kids to grandparents are gonna love this little companion. As good as it gets. Oh and the music, review and editing aren’t too bad either. LOL Great stuff right here. Bravo!

I am not an Aibo owner but i'm very interested because my husband is not willing to have a real dog due to some life trauma experiences living with dogs growing up and because we travel away from home often. Can the camera be turned off so the Aibo is not taking photos?

Wolfie_Snowflake it’s not really worth 3000 dollars like, sure , it’s Advanced, But for that price you could probably rent a house or buy an insane gaming PC with some extra stuff
My last dog passed away a little less than 2 months ago. I want another one soooo bad, but know with my job I don’t have the time or money to get a new puppy, train it, pay for the vet (because I also have 2 rabbits and a ball python), and I travel a lot so the poor thing would be in a kennel when I’m at work, then would be boarded a lot. So the aibo is the perfect opportunity for me to have a dog again. I’m saving now and hope to have enough by Christmas this year for mine!

I don't care for the little song and dances he can do, as a real dog wouldn't do this lol. I feel like they do this with kids in mind, but I wouldn't be buying a $3K robot for a child. So for me, thats not necessary. I would also love to see them somehow improve on all the clickity-clacking noises it makes as the joints move around. And also the mechanical noises which seem to be quite loud. I cannot see myself sitting and watching tv or talking to someone in the room and hearing all that noise as its walking around. Its a cute idea. Just needs more improvement.

If apple made an equivalent you'd end up putting the dog out of your misery, Why? because it would always need upgrading and you would have to bark the password via the apple woof cloud then have so one who patronised you after an expensive phone call from "support"

Newton is not a just a little smarter but really really smart compare to this aibo thing. Aibo is not smart at all - just a result of people's programming. It is only smart because smart people figured out the methods for it to complete different missions. Anyhow, nice video! Looking forward for the future video where it interacts with real doggo :)😍

Just a reminder; Sony doesn't allow returns on this dog. So your 3000 dollar is final-- no return policy of any sort
Probably because most people would get bored with it after a week or two.
In Europe is mandatory 14 days free return policy for everything
But soñy has a repair service for an aibo, so you don't need to return it

I had some commands but it does more than is documented. It is designed to just talk to it and it learns.
