I remember when I was a child how I always wanted to have a Robot dog (like one of the very early versions) because we were living in an apartment. Seeing this guy is really amazing, especially comparing it to what I would have loved as a child. It was almost the same price back then, too as I recall. Wild! Now I wonder how my bunnies would react to it xD
Aibo might be good to have in a house when you are away ... if you can program him to take pictures of anyone in the house while you are away, I think that would be neat.

Awww we had a baby Capri scene for a second. Such a sweet baby girl. I'm in search of a dog that can be a service dog for me. I want to adopt though and save a life. Dogs are so intuitive and they all can help with anxiety and PTSD they dont need special training it's just innate. (In my opinion). Dogs are just amazing!
Anxiety and PTSD/therapy dogs do usually do have to have some sort of training, but they do have an innate sense to help with such problems by justing being a companion. I plan on becoming a dog trainer and probably starting off with preparing dogs who have a calm disposition and are comfortable around people. I'd want to train them to become a therapy dog that could go to schools and hospitals. School would have been a lot harder for me without therapy dogs coming in once in a while, so I want to give back and help others that were like me. But maybe I'll start off with a bit of agility training depending on what may be going on in the world.

I feel like even if you got one for someone who was allergic to dogs they would still want an actual dog.. There's nothing quite like owning a dog, having a robot doesn't give you those responsibilities and in the end it just gets boring.. You don't have to walk the robot dog, you don't have to feed it or pay attention to it or even do anything with it, it can just sit in the house for the rest of your life and you may not even remember it or love it as much 😅
Please note. Many people don't just want a dog. A number of to-be dog owners want a pet with AKC papers. So how about an English bulldog pup.....cost $3000. No, you want a cute French bulldog pup....cost $3000! So, the Sony robot dog isn't that far off in price. Remember, the robot dog can't get sick. He can't soil your carpet. He seldom bites (watch pinch points). He eats and drinks pretend food. His barking is easily turned off by a button and ir can sleep while being charged all night. Now this Sony robot makes a lousy watch dog but you can play with this adorable thing for hours (2 hours between charges).
OMG finaly i found a aibo robot dog for less than 300! idk how but i found one for 120$ and my birthday is coming up, and my brother said i can get anything less than 300$!!! YESS
