Yeah. I didn’t watch the full video but my guess so that she is sponsored by the company and she has her own special code you can use to buy their overpriced light mask that’ll break in 2 months
I have this same mask (bought with my own money on Black Friday) and it has been INSANE for my pigmentation 🙏 Well worth the investment! I took pics when I first started in natural daylight and will be sharing the result on my channel v.soon! I do use for between 10-20min a day..... I find I can still get things done whilst using it, so doesn't feel like it's taking time away from my day 😊
Idk about her results but a few months ago my mom bought this led light therapy device and we thought it was bs so it went unused for months. I was bored like a week ago and decided to give it a try. It has green, blue and red in that order and it’s not a mask it’s a device you hold and move around on your face and it changes colors in its own time. I used it everyday and believe me when I say the results are insane. I take amazing care of my skin but it seemed like I could never get rid of red/green/dark spots on my skin and I felt self conscious of my bare face because of it and after a week or so of using it my skin is now all one color (except the genetic dark circles under my eyes and if they weren’t a dead giveaway you’d almost think I have foundation on.) it’s insane how big of a difference it makes. Idk about acne since I never had it to begin with but if you’re out of solutions I do suggest giving it a try. Edit: although, please remember that one size doesn’t fit all. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa.
For all of you non believers, there’s actual research behind the Red light therapy and all the benefits. However I wouldn’t recommend the one Kourtney uses since it’s a cheaper version marketed to younger people, there’s not even light bulbs on that thing. Spend your money on current body or other brands instead that have light bulbs
LEDs aren't light bulbs. They are used because they're cheap and more diffuse than LASERs. They probably also don't heat up as much as light bulbs and easier to control the wavelength
@@basewho5230 Meant to type LED diodes which are also bulbs, not light bulbs. But yes I am talking about the cheap 130$ one she uses with not a single diode on it.
The research is funded by the people who sell the devices. Funny that. Red light waves also come from the sun and if we are huddled around a fire like in olden days, and known to lower cortisol. Which will have big effects, helping sleep too. So I definitely believe in that, but not all the other cult sounding claims.
I believe it's worth it. I read a lot of articles that say that LED helps with skin aging and removing blemishes. I'm using a UFO and it's so good. I'd also love to try a LED mask. The FAQ 202 mask has been on my wishlist for so looong.
Been using this device for 2 months now, daily. Went for a drink yesterday and friend goes - have you had a procedure done? Your skin looks insane. I’m not lying. I think others see it more than us because we see our face every day in the mirror, so hard to tell.
@@devinsims8027do you mean milia? I think mine is worse since using this device :( also a mark on my nose that doesn't go away overnight.. I'm on my second week using this by the way 🙃
I’ve had mine for a year but I just started to use it consistently. I was thinking the same thing. I need googles like when people use tanning beds. I’m not sure why but I just don’t feel comfortable leaving my eyes opened. I always close them in fear that it might damage my eyes.
It looks like you can use them, but just to be safe you can switch off days or do rlt in the morning and tret at night. General consensus seems to be sure, but be careful about overdoing it

You're supposed to use red light masks every other night, not every night, or your skin will not have time to recover between treatments. Defeats the purpose.

Ah, I wanted to know the results! It looks really nice! Might make the investment someday, but by the time I have the money, the damage will probably be irreversible 😂
@@newbeginnings-yq9pt yes, that's what she said, but the manufacturer(ie currentbody )says to use it 3-5 times a week for 4 weeks and subsequently as desired but no more that 5 times per week. There is. I spent over 400 on the dr dennis gross one. It is a holy grail. P.S the science is there. The doctors of Pro athletes, use red light led to heal injuries, all of the most expensive spas use led as treatments. So dont knock it till you try it 😜

Studies show that red light therapy by laser works. Red light therapy by LEDs doesn't.
Is Omnilux ok? What about Project E Beauty?

You should use goggles with both to prevent bumps around your eyes.
