Probably my favorite car I’ve seen on this channel yet. I’ve always wondered why we haven’t seen more Fairlanes in racing. They have a great platform and great looks.
89 Hybrid honestly the first coyote swap I’ve seen that turned out this nice. I’ll never in my life own another one I’ve owned four of them all together 3 f-150’s and a mustang and they were all terribly unreliable and a pain in the ass to fix compared to the chevys and dodges we use here in the log woods. There beautiful sounding motors but ALOT of mechanics refuse to fiddle with them luckily we all work on our own motors and honestly I can see why a lot of mechanics won’t touch these motors it was a damn nightmare. I love the way these things sound and if you take the time to reinforce there valves and rods you’ll have a good motor.
That thing is a damn 8-flat bracket car! Holy hell is that thing consistent! I wouldn't be shocked at all to see it run 7.50s with a nice big bias slick and significantly more aggressive launch, they're taking it down right EASY with big girl
he gets much faster and i hope he thinks about a cage and weight reduction... but it is his cruiser too, so I do not see serious weight reduction as an option for him.

I owned one of these with the police interceptor package. 390w 428 heads 4spd. It was an old Mass. Highway patrol car. I understand his son, but damn it is a rocket ship and a beautiful one at that.
He could run way more boost in the Fairlane if he wanted to, but probably wants a reliable street car. That gtr on the other hand will only handle so many passes at that power level before it grenades something.
That gtr didn't even have a cage in it.... Add that cage weight and it wouldn't run 7.5s For any doubters listen to what the Fairlane guy says at the end ...

It’s pretty easy to GTRs. There aren’t to many Fairlanes around any more.

Love the fairlane but given the choice the GTR Because winning is FUN!
@@starbattles1 and so is sounding V8 great.

COYOTE💪😤
Take 300lbs. out of it, and he would best the gtr.
A little weight savings, a little rear suspension tuning and he is deep into the 7’s for sure.
I've always loved those vertical headlights in the Galaxies and Fairlanes. They look so evil and awesome.
Yes they do. I'd love to have one or ten. LoL

Coyote FTW!!! More coyote swaps the better
Coyote engine is the superior engine lol. Too bad it’s expensive.
XCVI Mac not that expensive if you consider how much it cost to build bigger displacement Ls engines
Fastball Films it be biased considering I have a mustang, but I think the coyote 5.0 engine is more reliable than its competitors ( LT1’s camaros )
XCVI Mac ehh they’re both pretty reliable with the right parts 🤷🏿♀️
Fastball Films I’ve heard of new LT1’s blowing motors.
Super badass Fairlane, so impressed by that Coyote. Makes some serious steam to trap that kind of mph! Well done
Instant thumbs up for anything that isn’t swapped with LS junk
