i appreciate your videos and I am subscribed! Im about to pull the trigger on a ck4020se hst cab with this blower (and other expensive implements). Your videos have been a huge help! Keep em coming!
Good catch! I had to go back and watch the video to see what you were referring to. You are correct. I run it at 2200 rpms in Mid range on the hydrostatic so I mispoke when I said 540. Point for you! thanks for watching.
The mid PTO always runs at a different speed than the rear PTO regardless of engine RPM. At rated engine speed the rear PTO standard is 540, the mid PTO is higher, around 2k, to operate things at higher speed like mowers and blowers. Why gear it down just to turn around and gear it back up?
@@sailingmariposa7887 For running a standard snow blower such as Provost or Normand they all run at 540 RPM. No one has every heard of 2000 RPM snow blower. You cannot buy an off the shelf snow blower for a 2000 RPM mid PTO. the snow blower unit that is built for the kioti is custom made snow blower just for that application. (that unit has a built in gear box 2000RPM / 540RPM) if you want a snow blower unit it is the Kioti or nothing at all.
I have that same setup, It works fantastic as you know. The only problem is the under mount frames won’t work with other equipment and huge problem to switch from blower to backhoe to mower. Kiote needs to do more homework.
I have had no issues and I have gone through 18".. put it in mid or low and it will go through just about anything.. I would not try it in high.. just moving too fast for 15 inches plus... Thanks for watching!
I have a 2610 also, and I have the Backhoe attachment. Will this work with the backhoe mounting brackets, when the backhoe attachment is removed. Thanks.
The backhoe must be a great attachment to have!! I am not sure where the mounting brackets are for the loader but I do know the mounting brackets for my blower are easily removed with just a few bolts.. Thanks for watching!
@@fearlbridgefarms9409 thanks. The Backhoe has a bracket that holds the forward portion of the backhoe frame, and the aft portion is held in place with two pins. When I ordered my tractor, I had the 3rd function installed for a grapple on the bucket. I thought a snowblower would mount on the quick disconnect, and run off of the hydraulics. After watching your video, I see that my idea was off. Now I wish I would have had the mid mount PTO installed. Thanks again. Not many videos out there on this subject.

Im going to look at a used one of this exact set up. 600 hrs unit. Wondering how close to the ground this blower will clean the snow out.
Drill a half inch hole at the bottom of your auger it will let the water out I did that with our rear mount works great
What is up with the mid mount PTO that runs at 2200 rpm. you said you run it at 540 rpm. how do you do that? is there a switch for the RPM speed?

Does the CK2610 have enough power to handle deep, heavy snow? Looks like a great setup, way better than looking behind 😎

No you have to remove the huge orange brackets and then put thebackhoe subframe on. You’re better off with two tractors!
Bro is that rear mount
Boo never stick your hands in the auger
