  • Quick video detailing the install of MBRP’s axleback on a 2017 Camaro SS 1LE. Super simple install. Took me about an hour and a half by myself, could’ve been faster if I wasn’t filming. The MBRP didn’t cause a drastic increase in exhaust volume, but it does provide a better tone and sound while driving in my opinion. ESPECIALLY when driving. All other components of the exhaust are stock. Cats and all. This thing sounds great on the road (I’ll get some clips of that part at a later date). Good bang for the buck as these are prob some of the cheapest axlebacks out for the 6 gens. My friend scored these in the black finish for around $650 brand new. The stainless finish was going for around $500. It was on sale regular price for the black finish is about $750 new I believe. He purchased them from amazon. If you feel the need to leave a thumbs down. Let me know why so I can improve. Respectfully please. YOU KNOW THE VIBE, HIT THAT SUBSCRIBE.

    Someone should be hitting you up with a commission check. I was on the wall with the install, and after wasting my time with a few other videos I came across yours. You've helped sell this as you made the install look easy. Articulate, and thorough without being wordy! You got something here! I hope to see you, and your channel continue on! Thanks again!

      Juan Baca they were for the actuators. I believe they make a system that still lets you incorporate the stock exhaust actuators and I’m assuming they just include it in every kit type.

    FYI alot of guys cut off the NPP servos and tuck them back into the fender connected to the orig harness to prevent ODBII trip codes. Well done. For those uninitiated exhaust work on jack stands aint easy!! I swore it off years ago, and I have just about every tool known to man and 20 years mechanic experience.

      I’m going to be honest I never even thought of that but I have hp tuners so I could program out any errors but we never got any 🤔. I’m going to have to look into that.

      That kit should’ve came with brackets to tuck the NPP servos up in the bumper. You plug the servos in so it doesn’t throw a CEL. I just bought the same kit.

    Hey boss! Great vid! I just ordered my set and I had a question about the actuators and actuator brackets. I was under the impression you had to put the actuators back on and plug them back in to prevent the car from throwing a check engine light?? Is this not the case?? Have you had any issues or warning lights come on because of the actuators not being there and not being plugged in??? Thanks in advance!

    • @GetItAtWiLL
      @GetItAtWiLL  5 років тому +1

      Luis Quintero we left them unplugged and never got any check eng lights. I think there is a mbrp axleback that lets you retain the stock actuators but there was no place to put them on this set even if I could as far as I saw. But I had no issues whatsoever

      @@GetItAtWiLL It took me 30 seconds to go find the install instructions for this exhaust on the MBRP website and reading the very simple pdf you would have realized that the brackets are so you can reinstall the servos, plugged in, and have them mounted out of the way.

    • @GetItAtWiLL
      @GetItAtWiLL  2 роки тому

      @@troelskiel1167 well thanks for the info. It wouldn’t have mattered in our case anyway because he sold the stock exhaust and they wanted the valves with it but appreciate the info. It was a while ago so I don’t remember what the instructions were or what brackets you’re referring to, I feel like I was looking for them but never saw them with the kit. Could be wrong though as I said it was a while back and I didn’t rewatch the vid to confirm but I’ll remember that if there’s a next time. Thank you

      Jafet Pretel it didn’t get too crazy with just the axle back. It was very tolerable and wouldn’t wake all the neighbors up in the morning. But it did add some volume and great tone.

    How’s the exhaust after all this time? Any drone? Etc.? (I’m getting mine tomorrow and I’m just curious, I had a muffler delete so if it has a little bit of drone that’s fine(

    • @GetItAtWiLL
      @GetItAtWiLL  3 роки тому +1

      Tbh they were great. With the stock exhaust and just the axle backs there was little to no drone but a nice fuller tone and even after the headers and straight pipes it was loud as hell lol but there still is little to no drone. They were a great purchase IMO
