Cant' wait to see things come together. My RSX has some rust spots and I know your video will show a lot more of the process than some others do. Just wish I had the local friends who were into body work and/or the nerve myself to start trying it lol. Hope to see you on the track next year. ✌
Please Eric paint the 2nd car Nardo grey with the same Hybrid racing decals. Love watching the sedan builds and excited to see hpw the 2nd car gets built.
I appreciate content like yours. Your like that college dude that lives down the street and I would constantly stop by to ask if I could help work on your car with you 😂. Preciate your channel man. Can't wait to see what you have in store for 2024. Blessings
16:40 Have you taken off the quarter panel already? If not, use a belt sander around the edges of the spot welds and it seperates the outer skin (on the white eg) saves the inner panel.
Enjoying your content. Before you scrap the red body is not worth drilling everything off it ? Yes it takes up room but saves keep sourcing donor cars . Speaking from experience 🏁🏁
I Like ure videos alot, both.. that Racing stuff and also the build stuff, I think u doing a Great job in both worlds. I was wondering what engine ure running and how much HP that thing pushes, that u can keep up whit corvettes.. Whis u a Great 2024 season and i will follow ure progress 👌🏻😉
Thanks man, I appreciate it! It's a k24 but it's detuned to around 200 whp. The vettes are also detuned. Gltc is a power to weight class so everyone must run around 12.5 lbs per hp
I bought rotiform Aerodisc's which are 18" or 19" and only fit on rotiform wheels. However, I modded them and made my own brackets to fit them to the 6 spoke wheels I had. I was pretty lucky that they fit up almost perfectly
Hell yeah homie! I buy some yellow zinc from McMaster occasionally but nothing beats 90s oem Honda m6/m8 hardware with the floating washer, so damn good ha
Not with all that rust. Any exterior bolt on that POS was hell. It's done now so not much i can do. On the actual racecar though, I already drained the fuel so it will be safer.
I dont disagree with that. I've had a pretty long wheel to wheel racing career with minimal impacts and crashes (ignoring the eg hatch crash). This quarter panel wasn't even damage in track, it flipped in a highway crash. So I'm hoping this bodywork lasts a while

Don’t apologize for the voice over. I think it’s the best way do do these videos if you can.
Will do more for sure!

Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Love watching cars come apart. Great to see how things are put together!
Yeah, it's super interesting!
Thanks for sharing your passion. 👊😡
My pleasure!!
Why you don't use the donor cars to make fiberglass copies of the parts you need instead of cutting them? Thanks for your videos! 👍🏻
Yeah, it's an option. It has it's positives and negatives though. Replace this quarter panel with steel is easy. The roof will be carbon

saves the inner panel.
It'll leave the spot weld attached to the inner skin.
All you do is grind it of with a die grinder etc..
Yeah, quarter panel has already been removed with a combination of the spot weld drill bit and a finger belt sander!
@@EricKutilRacing yeah the finger belt sander is what I would use to remove the spot welds on scrap panels👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥happy new year brother✨️😇😉🍻💯🏁
Happy new year to you!

Oh yeah, trust me, I'll be saving everything I can!

@@EricKutilRacing ure welcome.
and thank´s for the info, a weight class, that good to know look´s like much fun.
keep it up, we like it ;-)
Will do man!
Hello nice job nice car great drive.why turbo fan in the rear wheels??how did you make them??happy new year from greece.keep on
Style mainly ha! Kinda pay homage to the older JTCC cars with aerodiscs in the back
How did you made them or you bought them?? I would like to make two for the front wheel of my clio 2 N3 rally car.
I bought rotiform Aerodisc's which are 18" or 19" and only fit on rotiform wheels. However, I modded them and made my own brackets to fit them to the 6 spoke wheels I had. I was pretty lucky that they fit up almost perfectly
rusting car but good hardware .... us honda guys are all the same ...save all the good parts lol... also cat wait for gridlife 2024!!!!
We're all crazy ha
Dude I just ordered some yellow zinc flanged head metic hardware for my new asr sway bar and it felt sooo good lol 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️
Hell yeah homie! I buy some yellow zinc from McMaster occasionally but nothing beats 90s oem Honda m6/m8 hardware with the floating washer, so damn good ha
Dude for safety reasons I would drop the fuel tank and all the lines out of the car. Should take about a half hour.
Not with all that rust. Any exterior bolt on that POS was hell. It's done now so not much i can do. On the actual racecar though, I already drained the fuel so it will be safer.
Why replace the panels your doing wheel to wheel racing it’s gonna get banged up again
Because I have class ha! I pride myself in damage free racecars and a good presence.
@@EricKutilRacing I respect that but after couple times of replacing them it gets old
